Tipps und Tricks
Habt ihr einen Teil von Ratchet & Clank gespielt, habt ihr im Grunde alle gespielt und wisst Bescheid über die Grundlagen, mit ein paar Abstrichen jedenfalls. Trotzdem hier ein paar Themen und Hinweise für den Start.
- Wer nur den Anweisungen für den Abschluss der Hauptgeschichte folgt und nicht viel mehr tut, sieht zwar einen großen Teil des Spiels, aber eben nicht alles.
Für einen 100-Prozent-Spielstand müsst ihr Folgendes tun: Story abschließen, alle optionalen Aufgaben erfüllen und sämtliche Gold-Bolts, Spionbots sowie Rüstungsteile finden. - In Rift Apart gibt es zwei spielbare Protagonisten: Ratchet und Rivet, beide aus dem Volk der Lombaxe. Je nach Abschnitt, in dem ihr unterwegs seid, steuert ihr die eine oder andere Figur, aber das macht bis auf die Stimme und die Kommentare keinen Unterschied. Sämtliche Verbesserungen an den Waffen und dem Charakter sowie die erspielten Rüstungsteile funktionieren übergreifend und werden übernommen.
- Als Waffenhändlerin fungiert diesmal Ms. Zurkon. Ihr trefft sie in der Regel am Anfang jedes neuen Abschnitts und könnt euch bei ihr mit neuen Waffen sowie Munition eindecken. Auch Waffenaufrüstungen führt sie durch.
- Für Waffenupgrades braucht ihr das gute, alte Raritanium, meist zu finden in speziellen Kisten, die mitunter ein wenig besser in den Leveln versteckt sind.
Trotzdem, wer die Abschnitte gewissenhaft erkundet, dürfte mehr als genug Raritanium entdecken, um wenigstens die bevorzugten Waffen auf die Maximalstufe aufzurüsten. - Einige Level sind ein bisschen offener angelegt, statt euch durch einen engen Schlauch zu scheuchen. Nutzt die Karte (eingeblendet mit Druck auf das Touchpad) und ihr könnt anhand der Einfärbung nachvollziehen, welche Gebiete ihr schon erkundet habt und wo sich ein genauerer Blick noch lohnen könnte.
- Ihr könnt jederzeit in bekannte Abschnitte zurückkehren und weitere Erkundungen in Angriff nehmen oder bekannte Zwischengegner erneut besiegen, um Beute zu machen. Für manche Abzweigungen müsst ihr sogar später wiederkommen, nachdem ihr ein bestimmtes Ausrüstungsteil gefunden habt, das eure Bewegungsmöglichkeiten erhöht. Diese Orte sind in der Regel optional.
- Das Leveln in Rift Apart läuft auf zwei Ebenen und ganz einfach: Sowohl die Spielfiguren als auch die Waffen steigen auf, automatisch und ohne, dass man etwas dagegen tun könnte.
Nutzt die Knarren und sie steigen in der Stufe auf, ebenso wie Ratchet und Rivet. Durch Level-ups erhalten sie mehr Lebensenergie und vertragen mehr Treffer. Wie gesagt, ganz einfach. - Das groß angekündigte Feature, dank SSD-Zugriff ohne Ladezeiten von einem Level ins nächste wechseln zu können, erschöpft sich in Rift Apart hauptsächlich in den sogenannten Dimensionsfalten. Dabei handelt es sich um kleine Abschnitte (erkennbar an den lilafarbenen Rissen, die sich mit L1 öffnen lassen), für deren Abschluss ihr in der Regel ein Rüstungsteil erhaltet. In den meisten Leveln gibt es wenigstens eine, manchmal auch zwei bis drei solcher Dimensionsfalten.
- In manchen Leveln könnt ihr optionale Aufgaben erfüllen, wobei euch das Spiel nicht damit erschlägt, zum Glück. Nichts davon ist essenziell, aber es winken nette Belohnungen von Spionbots bis hin zu speziellen Items, die ihr nur auf diese Art bekommt. Wer mag, kann auch später noch in abgeschlossene Level zurückkehren und diese Aufgaben nachholen.
