in the yard already 2022 , but the list of titles coming to PS5 is full of cross-platform games. Even exclusives end up either on PS4, as is the case with the games of Sony itself, or on PC. It remains to be hoped that closer to the middle of the year — for example, at E3 — next-gen games will be announced that can become real system-sellers. In the meantime, we’ve rounded up 17 of the biggest PS5 releases coming this year.
Horizon Forbidden West

. Aloy continues his adventures in the expanses of the post-apocalyptic world inhabited by robodinosaurs, the underwater expanses of which will open to us in Horizon: Forbidden West . The game will also be released on PS4, however, the PS5 version will boast faster downloads, as well as the ability to play at 60 fps with a lower resolution. Platinum Games wanted to add action-RPG multiplayer to the formula, and partnered with Square Enix to create Babylon’s Fall . The development of the game was led by Kenji Saito, previously the game director of Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance , and the script was written by Kenichi Iwao, the writer of the very first Resident Evil and the person who brought the zombies there in the first place. Babylon’s Fall will be a service game, so you can count on continued support for updates after release.

Like FF XV, Forspoken is an open-world action RPG where the heroine can move really, really fast.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League

Studio Rocksteady continues the story of Batman: Arkham Knight seven years later: Batman is gone, but the rest of the superheroes and supervillains are in place. Only they switched roles: members of the Justice League fell under the control of Brainiac, and now the Suicide Squad needs to deal with them. There are four anti-heroes to choose from: Harley Quinn, Captain Boomerang, Deadshot and Shark King. When playing alone, it will be possible to switch between them on the go, and the co-op will require four players.
