Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt were made by the same studio, so the setting and story are just as good. The action scenes are especially impressive: the first-person view perfectly immerses you in gunfights and chases.

A New Medieval RPG Without Fantasy — Playing Together
Almost exactly one year ago, Czech studio Warhorse, led by former Mafia developer Daniel Vavra, showed off some pretty impressive footage of what was to be a new RPG on next-gen consoles and PC.
And now, only now we have learned the name of the future RPG with an open world of the Middle Ages and a first-person view — Kingdom Come: Deliverance. The game world is positioned precisely as realistic, without dragons, gnomes and magic, mandatory attributes of almost any other modern game of this genre. CryEngine 3 is used as an engine.
The developers promise a unique combat system, using techniques typical of the time, as well as «revolutionary hand-to-hand combat in the first person.» Horse-mounted battles, field sieges and battles with large numbers of troops are also planned. The time period and external environment of the game is based on the Holy Roman Empire towards the end of the Middle Ages.
Vavre’s comments: “Kingdom Come: Deliverance is planned to be a sandbox RPG set in a believable world with real-life settings and scope. To this end, we combine the power of CryEngine 3, non-linear storytelling, complete freedom in character development, and a loaded living world in a way that has never been done before.
”
This is an ambitious move for a small studio that doesn’t have big projects under its belt yet and is struggling to find a publisher.
However, in Warhorse there is hope for support from smaller publishers, given the current developments on the game.
“If this doesn’t work, we’ll have a problem. After all, the only possible other option is to convince our investor to fully finance the creation of the game — which is unlikely — or to find a co-investor. We tried to negotiate with several people, but so far it is futile.”
“An investment banker in London told us in no uncertain terms that the video game market on PC and consoles is dead, and if we don’t make a free MMO for the iPad, we don’t stand a chance. This, of course, is nonsense, but this does not make our task any easier.”

UPDATE: Eurogamer’s Czech editor Jan Doskochil is working more closely with Warhorse to oversee the development of the game and help the company raise $3-$4 million in additional funding.
