MeinMMO erklärt euch, was dahinter steckt.

    • PS4 Console
Always update your PS4 console system software to the latest version.

Use the same account you use on your PS4 console. If you don’t have an account, you will need to create one first.
    • High-speed Internet connection
A high-speed Internet connection with at least 5 Mbps upload and download speeds is recommended as a standard. For best performance, we recommend using a high-speed connection with at least 15 Mbps upload and download speeds. nine0197 To use mobile data for Remote Play, you need to set up your mobile device. See Preparing your mobile device for details.
    • Remote Play uses significantly more data than most video streaming services. If the Remote Play feature works via mobile data, be careful not to go over your limit or overpay.
    • You can connect a DUALSHOCK®4 or DualSense™ wireless controller to your mobile device. For more information on compatible devices and how to connect a wireless controller, see Using the Wireless Controller. nine0175
    • Voice chat requires a microphone, such as the built-in microphone on a mobile device.

    Application installation

From Google Play™ or the App Store, download and install the [PS Remote Play] app on your mobile device. You can use the same app to connect to both the PS5 console and the PS4 console. • To launch the Remote Play feature when the PS4 console is in Rest Mode, go to [Settings] > [Power Saving Settings] > [Select Features Available in Rest Mode]. Then check the boxes for [Keep Internet Connection] and [Allow the PS4 system to turn on over the network]. nine0175

    Mobile device preparation

To use mobile data for Remote Play, you need to set up your mobile device. Depending on your carrier and network conditions, you may not be able to use mobile data for the Remote Play feature.
If your device is connected to a Wi-Fi® network, when you start Remote Play, you will continue to use Wi-Fi.

    1.
Launch the [PS Remote Play] application on your mobile device and select [Sign in to PSN].
    2.
Sign in with the account you use with your PS4 console.

    • You can select the image quality in Remote Play mode when using mobile data. Select [Streaming video quality] to adjust this setting. Data traffic may vary depending on the selected video quality. nine0175

    Starting the «Remote Play» function

    1.
Turn on your PS4 console or put it into rest mode.
    2.
Launch the [PS Remote Play] application on your mobile device and select [Sign in to PSN].

    nine0254 3.

Sign in with the account you use with your PS4 console.
    4.
    Select [PS4].
The app will search for the PS4 console you set up in PS4 Console Setup and connect to it. Once connected, your mobile device will display the PS4 console screen and you can use the Remote Play feature.
Next time you can select the console you connected to before. nine0257
    • Before connecting remotely from outside your home, make sure your device connects properly to your PS4 console when it is near it.
    • If the app cannot find the device you want to connect to, if the connection fails or is unstable, see If Remote Play is Not Available.

    Remote Play Controls

If you touch the screen of your mobile device during the Remote Play function, the controller buttons will be displayed.

nine0009 Using other applications on Android™ smartphones or tablets

When another application is open, Remote Play may appear as an additional window.

    1.
Using the Remote Play function, touch the screen of the mobile device.
    2.
Select the [Options] menu at the bottom right of the screen, and then select the [Picture in Picture] function. nine0257

If you no longer need the Picture-in-Picture feature, select the [Settings] menu in the upper left corner of the secondary window to turn it off on the main screen. If you disable this feature, the [Picture in Picture] icon will no longer be displayed on the control panel. To use this feature again, turn it on in the settings on your Android™ smartphone or tablet.

Using other apps on iPhone or iPad
