PS Plus users on the PS4 and PS5 will be licking their lips in prospect to see what Sony can drum up this month as new PlayStation Plus games are rumored in the pipeline.
Regardless of which PS Plus subscription a player owns, they will be entitled to Sony’s monthly offering of free games ranging from AAA beasts to mega-popular indie darlings.
Paid customers in August 2022 were treated to Tony Hawks’ Pro Skater 1 + 2 amongst other awesome titles, so let’s take a gander at what PlayStation players could be in store for in September 2022 on PS Plus.

PS Plus games rumored for September 2022
Based on early indicators on social media and potential leaks, there are several potential titles that have been leaked for PlayStation Plus games in September 2022.

As always, these are just rumors and it’s very possible that things will change.
Aeterna Noctis
A vibrant and energetic Metroidvania-style title that follows the typical elements found in the genre: fighting, platforming, and even role-playing elements.
Circus Electrique
Circus Electrique embraces many different aspects to create a compelling circus-like atmosphere that dips into RPGs, strategic real-time gameplay, as well as management too. It’s a unique title that would leave PlayStation gamers curious.
The Crew 2
Ubisoft’s The Crew series has been fairly successful, especially with massive rivals in Gran Turismo and Forza to compete against, and the second iteration would make its online component very accessible to PS Plus players.

When will PS Plus games for September 2022 be officially announced?
If the history of PS Plus has taught us anything, it’s that you can expect the games on the last Wednesday of every month, as should be the case for the PS Plus games in September 2022.

September’s games will likely be announced on the PlayStation’s official blog and it’ll be somewhere along the lines of August 31 at 8:30 AM PST / 11:30 AM EST / 4:30 PM BST.
New games are usually made available to play on the first Tuesday of the following month.

- Go to your PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5’s home screen.
- Head to the PlayStation Plus symbol on the media bar.
- Now, choose which PS Plus games you want to download.
- You’ll now be able to play the newly added games from your ‘Library!‘
New PS Plus Subscriptions tiers explained
The new PlayStation Plus model has been expanded into a fully-fledged three-tier system with different incentives per tier.

San Mateo, Kalifornien – Sony beglückt die Fans jeden Monat aufs Neue mit frischen Inhalten im Abo für PS4 und PS5. Die Gratis-Games in PS Plus kommen dabei mal mehr, mal weniger gut an. Nun wurden die Gratis-Spiele für PS Plus im September 2022 angekündigt.
Fans, die auf echte Blockbuster gehofft hatten, könnten enttäuscht werden. Das sind die drei Games im nächsten Monat.

Lohnen sich die Spiele? In Sachen Wertung auf Metacritic sind die drei Gratis-Spiele für PS Plus im September 2022 nicht zu verachten. Der Genre-Mix der Auswahl dürfte auch insgesamt eine breite Masse an Fans ansprechen. So richtige Knaller-Games sind die drei Titel allerdings nicht. Es könnte also sein, dass so manche*r enttäuscht ist.

It’s time for another frivolous speculation about what Sony PS PLUS Essential and Extra games will release in September .
I want to start with Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands. As you know, PS Plus Extra includes the Ubisoft+ collection, which is updated with new games every month. So this collection is also present on Xbox and in August it was replenished with Ghost Recon Wildlands and I think it will also appear on Playstation in September. It is an open-world third-person tactical shooter where the player controls a member of a ghost squad who must deal with the Bolivian drug cartel Santa Blanca.
I won’t say that the game turned out great, but it will definitely be interesting to play a few hours in online co-op. Unfortunately, the game is not replete with variety and, in fact, has almost no gameplay progress. nine0003
Since we’ve touched on Game Pass, there are two more games that I think could also make it to September’s PS PLUS. These are Cooking Simulator and Two Point Campus. In the first one, you need to try on the role of a cook and cook various dishes according to recipes. This is not a fun arcade game like Overcooked, everything here is serious, realistic and with beautiful graphics.
But in Two Point Campus, you need to take over the management of the University, build new facilities, maintain them, hire staff and keep students busy. The game is full of humor and allows you to have fun as an administrator. Many times it has been the case that games from Game Pass were later added to PS PLUS too, so it is likely that this could happen with these projects as well.

The next game I think might be given away in September is Biomutant. The reason for the giveaway is the release of the PS5 version on September 6, and it is on this day that PS Plus Essential games will become available for download. This is a colorful third-person action-rpg set in an open post-apocalyptic world full of mutant animals. In theory, the game seemed very diverse both in terms of creating the main character, where his characteristics influenced the appearance, and in terms of game mechanics. There, for example, you can combine melee and ranged combat techniques, as well as implant yourself with robotic body parts. But in practice, everything turned out to be much more primitive, but most of all I was personally disappointed with the game physics and the battles themselves. It was just boring to play. nine0003
The next game I think they might give away in a subscription is co-op action Outriders. The game was released last year, but failed to win the hearts of gamers.
Most complained about the lack of content, performance, and problems connecting to servers. Now these problems are mostly solved and you can play quite comfortably. As for the content, at the end of June, the Worldslayer add-on was released, which added story editions, gear, weapons, and additional hero levels that can be pumped. The add-on is paid and therefore the distribution of the main game could warm up interest in it again and those who come to it may want to purchase the add-on as well. nine0003
