Officially, E3 doesn’t start until June 12. But leaks don’t follow a schedule. So for those out there who love spoilers or who hate waiting for news, we’ve rounded up all the pre-E3 2021 leaks into one convenient place.

It feels weird to put a spoiler warning here, but I know some folks care so… E3 spoilers below! You’ve been warned.

The sequel to Two Point Hospital seems to have leaked out into the wild a bit early via a now-deleted Microsoft Store listing. Two Point Campus looks to have the same art style and zany humor as Two Point Hospital, but instead of making a big medical facility, you’ll be in charge of building and running a university. No release date info was leaked, but if it already has a store page it could be very soon. I expect an official announcement at the Microsoft E3 event. If not, I would assume it gets revealed not long from now.

Back in 2017, we reported that the next Eidos Montreal game was not a Deus Ex sequel but instead a Guardians of the Galaxy game. This still-in-development game will most likely be the big “World Premiere from Eidos-Montreal” that Square Enix teased on Twitter and part of the big, multi-year deal the publisher made with Marvel back in early 2017.

As reported by Fanbyte last month, Team Ninja is working with Square Enix on a new action-RPG Final Fantasy spin-off game. According to the report, it might be subtitled “Origin” and is heavily expected to be a part of Square Enix’s upcoming E3 event. Check out Fanbyte’s original story for more info.

There have been small leaks here and there over the last few weeks that point toward a reveal of the next Borderlands game during Summer Game Fest, a pre-E3 event hosted by Geoff Keighley. First, a Reddit leak that contained a possible title, “Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands,” was confirmed to be real by former Kotaku reporter Jason Schreier. Folks also found a Gearbox-owned trademark for Wonderlands and later dug up Wonderlands references in an official 2K-owned site. All signs point towards the next Borderlands game being revealed later today at Summer Game Fest.

Another thing included in that Reddit leak was news of a Marvel-themed turn-based strategy game. Codenamed “CODA,” it’s supposedly being developed by Firaxis and will star Marvel characters. As previously mentioned, this leak has been confirmed by various folks, but it’s still very possible that some of the rumored games don’t show up at E3 this year. (Or get canceled before they ever see the light of day!) So if you are a big Marvel fan and love XCOM, be prepared that this one might not be announced quite yet.

Keep this in mind: E3 leaks can sometimes be wrong or not entirely accurate. Plans change, and in a world still suffering from covid-19, anything can happen. So while we are confident that these games are real and will probably be announced during the (too) long E3 2021 season, don’t get too excited or go making bets with folks.

Entire Microsoft E3 2019 Press Conference Leaks, Includes Next-Gen Xbox and Fable

By
Dalton Cooper

A supposed industry insider potentially leaks the entirety of Microsoft’s E3 2019 press conference plans, which apparently include next-gen Xbox consoles and Fable.

E3 2019 is right around the corner, and as usual, supposed leaks have started popping up about what the show will have in store for fans. While it’s hard to tell which leaks should be believed and which are just being made up for the sake of stirring the pot, a new leak from a supposed industry insider claims to reveal Microsoft’s entire E3 2019 press conference plans.

The leaker, Braldryr from NeoGAF, has apparently revealed all of the games and announcements that will take place at Microsoft’s E3 2019 press conference. Braldryr has separated his information into what he knows definitively will be shown at Microsoft’s E3 2019 press conference, and stuff he is less sure about.

If Braldryr is to be believed, the following announcements will for sure take place during Microsft’s E3 2019 press conference.

  • Halo Infinite — New trailer with holiday 2020 release date
  • Gears 5 — Full gameplay reveal with September release date
  • Gears Tactics — New trailer with release date
  • Ori and the Will of the Wisps — New trailer with release date
  • Bleeding Edge — New IP from Ninja Theory, will be cross-gen sci-fi game
  • The Outer Worlds — New trailer and release date
  • Cyberpunk 2077 — Gameplay trailer and release window reveal
  • Age of Empires 4 — Gameplay reveal, 2020 release date
  • Fable Reboot — Tease for next-gen Fable game, but the game itself is exclusive to next-gen Xbox for likely release in 2021
  • Sea of Thieves — New content
  • Battletoads — Gameplay and release date
  • Project xCloud — Info dump
  • Next-Gen Xbox — Baseline of specs
  • Third Party Games

Braldryr went on to detail announcements that have a «high chance of happening» at Microsoft’s E3 2019 press conference:

  • MechAssault — New MechAssault game reveal
  • Forza Motorsport — Tease for next-gen Forza
  • New Capcom Game — Rumored to be Resident Evil 3 remake or maybe even a new Dino Crisis game
  • More Japanese Dev Games

Braldryr then named some announcements that have a small chance of happening at E3.

  • Next-Gen Rare Game
  • Perfect Dark Reboot — Reportedly in development at Dlala Studios with Rare supervising
  • Xbox Game Studios Acquisitions — Possible purchase announcements of IO Interactive, Asobo, and Relic Entertainment

We must caution fans to take this «leak» with a massive grain of salt. While all of the information sounds plausible, it’s quite possible that none of it’s true. Fans will find out for sure come Microsoft’s E3 2019 press conference on June 9.
