Die Playstation 5 ist die neueste Konsole aus dem Hause Sony und stellt deutlich höhere Anforderungen an den Fernseher als ältere Konsolen wie die PS4. Wir testen jeden Fernseher im Testlabor auch immer auf seine Eignung für die PS5. Hier haben wir für dich unsere Liste mit den aktuell besten PS5-Fernsehern aus unseren Fernseher-Tests zusammengestellt und erklären, worauf du als PS5-Gamer beim TV-Kauf achten musst. Neue Gaming-Techniken wie die variable Bildrate VRR, welche die bestmögliche, störungsfreie Bildqualität sichert, müssen stets beide Geräte – die Konsole und der TV – unterstützen. Stand Februar 2022 ist die Playstation 5 für VRR vorbereitet, muss aber erst noch ein entsprechendes Firmware-Update erhalten.

Mit 4K bei 120 fps sowie erstmals Gaming in 8K bietet die PS5 Gaming in noch nicht da gewesener Auflösung. A propos fps: Gemeint ist hier nicht „first person shooter“, sondern frames per second – Bilder pro Sekunde. Damit unterstützt die PS5 die HDMI 2.1-Spezifikationen, zu denen auch der Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) und die Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) gehören.
Die PS5 unterstützt außerdem HDR10. HDR-Gaming mit Dolby Vision soll noch als Firmware-Update kommen.

Der LG OLED C1 steht sozusagen im Fokus der 2021er OLED-TVs von LG und eignet sich ideal für Besitzer einer Playstation 5. Mit einem verschwindend geringen Input Lag von etwa 12-13 Millisekunden lassen sich auch Hochgeschwindigkeits-Shooter problemlos auf dem Fernseher spielen. Auch bietet der TV mit HDMI 2.1 im Zusammenspiel mit den neuen Konsolen 120Hz-4K-Eingänge und sowohl ALLM als auch VRR.
Mit VRR soll der Input Lag übrigens nochmals niedriger ausfallen und unter 10 Millisekunden fallen. Mit FreeSync Premium von AMD und G-Sync von Nvidia unterstützt LG zudem die wichtigsten VRR-Standards für High-End-Gaming-PCs. Sobald Sony das VRR-Update für die PS5 ausrollt, ist der LG OLED C1 schon bestens für Gaming mit variabler Bildwiederholrate gerüstet.
OLED-Info: Ist Einbrennen heute noch ein Risiko? Die Hersteller von OLED-TVs sorgen mit speziellen OLED-Funktionen wie Logo-Erkennung, Regenerieren im Standby und weiteren Maßnahmen dafür, dass du einen OLED durchaus auch fürs Gaming einsetzen kannst. Wenn OLED-TVs statische Bildinhalte ständig wiederkehrend an derselben Position anzeigen, können dauerhafte Spuren im Bild entstehen – der sogenannte Einbrenn-Effekt. Damit das nicht passiert, ist es wichtig, dass du dir und dem OLED nach vier bis acht Stunden Betrieb Standby-Pausen von mehr als einer halben Stunde zum „Regenerieren“ gönnst. Deshalb dürfen OLED-TVs auch nicht als Info-Screens oder Anzeigetafeln „missbraucht“ werden.
Ein gewisses Risiko besteht auch, wenn das Spiel farbstarke, sich nicht bewegende Inhalte immer an derselben Stelle zeigt, wie zum Beispiel eine rote Lebensanzeige, und du dieses Spiel sehr häufig zockst.
Damit du schnell auf die Gaming-Einstellungen zugreifen kannst, hat der LG C1 ein extra Schnell-Menü, den „Spiele-Optimierer“. Diesen kannst du zwischendurch blitzschnell ein-oder ausblenden. Außerdem bietet der OLED C1 ein sehr hochwertiges Bild mit präzisen Farben und tollem Kontrast. Er unterstützt zudem die HDR-Standards HDR10 und Dolby Vision. Der LG C1 setzt mit HGiG außerdem auf eine Hersteller-Initiative für einen einheitlichen HDR-Standard fürs Gaming. Noch gibt es hierfür keinen breiten Spiele-Support, doch dies könnte sich in Zukunft ändern. Mit einem Preis von etwa 1.200 Euro für die 55-Zoll Version ist dieser Top-PS5-Fernseher jedoch auch nicht der günstigste.

Der Samsung QN95A ist ein weiterer Fernseher, der dich ideal fürs Zocken mit der PS5 rüstet. Das 4K-Flaggschiff der 2021er Neo QLED-TVs überzeugt dabei mit vollem HDMI 2.1-Support und kann somit ALLM, VRR sowie 120fps bei 4K-Auflösung auf allen vier HDMI-Ports bieten. Dabei hat er mit HDR10 auch den passenden HDR-Standard für die PS5 im Angebot.
Der aktuell beste 4K-TV von Samsung ist heller und kontrastreicher als die allermeisten anderen TVs. Verglichen mit einem OLED und vielen anderen LCD-TVs bietet er eine deutlich höhere Spitzenhelligkeit. Wer auf die perfekten Schwarzwerte eines OLED-Fernsehers nicht verzichten möchte, aber etwas weniger bezahlen will, für den könnte der LG OLED B1 die richtige Wahl sein. Dieser leistet im Hinblick auf die Gaming-Features nahezu das gleiche wie der „große Bruder“, der C1. So sind auch hier zwei HDMI 2.

Leichte Abstriche müssen Nutzer jedoch bei der Helligkeit machen und auch die Fernbedienung bietet nicht alle Features der teureren Geräte an. Den JZW2004 kann man als insgesamt besten Fernseher von 2021 bezeichnen. Er ist einer der besten OLED TVs, da er perfekte Farben und sehr gute Schwarzwerte liefert und zudem noch mit einer besonders hohen Spitzenhelligkeit auftrumpft. Der High-End-TV ist unser Tipp für alle, die sowohl Heimkino als auch Gaming lieben.
Von allen bei uns getesteten TVs bringt dieser den besten Sound einschließlich echtem Dolby Atmos, ohne dass du eine zusätzliche Soundbar benötigst. Hinter dem Display schallen nämlich entsprechende Chassis nach oben und zu beiden Seiten.
Er bietet zudem noch eine tolle Ausstattung für Fernsehen, Streaming und natürlich Gaming. So liegt der Input Lag bei diesem TV bei niedrigen 14 Millisekunden.

Um alles aus deiner Playstation 5 herauszuholen, ist ein HDMI 2.1-Eingang ein Muss. Dieser ermöglicht es, dass du 4K-Inhalte bei 120 Frames per Second abspielen kannst. Außerdem kann ein Fernseher mit HDMI 2.1-Support dank ALLM automatisch in den Gaming-Modus umschalten, wenn du ein Spiel startest.

Variable Bildrate (VRR) bei der PS5
Noch wichtiger ist das Feature VRR (Variable Refresh Rate). Dadurch wird die Bildfrequenz im Zusammenspiel zwischen TV-Gerät und Konsole während der Spiel-Session angepasst.
So kann dauerhaft die bestmögliche Auflösung bei der höchstmöglichen FPS-Zahl dargestellt werden. Aktuell unterstützt die Playstation 5 diese Funktion noch nicht. Da sie jedoch für ein Update angekündigt ist, solltest du beim Kauf des neuen Fernsehers für PS5 auch auf VRR-Support achten.
Beim Thema HDMI 2.1 solltest du genau hinsehen. Denn es dürfen auch TV-Geräte, deren HDMI-Eingänge die Wiedergabe von 4K-Spielinhalten bei 120 Hz nicht stemmen können, mit HMDI 2.1 beworben werden, sofern der Fernseher andere HMDI 2.1-Features wie ALLM und HDMI-eARC unterstützt. 48, 55, 65 oder 75 Zoll ? Die Frage nach der passenden Bilddiagonale für einen Gaming-Fernseher lässt sich nicht eindeutig beantworten.
Verschiedene Kriterien sollte man in die Entscheidung mit einbeziehen, zuallererst den Sitzabstand zum Fernseher. Eine Faustformel für Heimkino-Fans lautet „Empfohlene Bildschirmdiagonale = Abstand zum Fernseher ÷ 1,2″. So eignet sich bei einem Sitzabstand von ca. zwei Meter ein 55- oder 65 Zoll-TV für 4K-Kinofilme. Beim Gaming sollte man jedoch noch mehr Faktoren berücksichtigen: Spielst du auf deiner PS5 öfter Multiplayer-Spiele mit Splitscreen? Dann sollte es eine großer Screen werden. Willst du beim Spielen gerne alles mit auf einen Blick erkennen? Dann ist ein Fernseher mit einer kleinere Bildschirmdiagonale wie 48 Zoll oder 43 Zoll besser geeignet.

Bei manchen Fernsehern kannst du das Genre auswählen.
Der Bildmodus wird dann entsprechend angepasst.
Der Input Lag ist elementar wichtig für einen guten Gaming-Fernseher. Dieser beschreibt die Dauer, die es braucht, bis die Eingabe vom Controller auf dem Screen sichtbar wird. Im besten Fall sollte der Input Lag unter 20 Millisekunden liegen, damit sich die Verzögerung nicht merklich auf das Spiel-Erlebnis auswirkt. Aktuelle Top-Modelle von LG und Samsung schaffen es sogar unter 15 Millisekunden. Alle Fernseher, die wir hier empfehlen, haben einen niedrigen Input Lag.
Wichtig: Ändere den Bildmodus beim Spielen auf den Gaming-Modus, da der Input Lag bei den anderen Bildmodi in aller Regel viel höher ausfällt. Sollte der Fernseher HDMI 2.1 und damit ALLM unterstützen, dann wechselt er den Modus automatisch, sobald ein entsprechendes Signal von deiner Konsole kommt.
Sind Sony-TVs die besten Fernseher für Sonys PS5?
Mit dem Claim „Perfekt für Playstation 5“ bewirbt Sony aktuell einige Sony Bravia-Fernseher.
Wie du an unseren Empfehlungen schon sehen konntest, sind Sony-TVs sehr gute PS5-Fernseher, aber definitiv kein Muss. Die von Sony beworbene, optimale Abstimmung zwischen Konsole und Fernseher schaffen auch andere Top Gaming-Fernseher wie die LG OLEDs oder Samsung QLEDs. Einige Sony-Fernseher gehören also zu den besten Fernsehern für PS5, andere Hersteller bieten jedoch eine ebenso gute Qualität. Bist du an Sony-Fernsehern interessiert? Hisense has decided to get aggressive with its A6G, a new 4K UHD entry-level screen available in a huge array of screen sizes. This model is clearly attempting to persuade upgraders to make the jump to UHD Dolby Vision and appears a good bet if you’re shortlisting affordable large screens for gaming and TV-watching.
The TV uses a regular LED backlight but boasts Dolby Vision HDR to make the most of streaming content from the brand’s increasingly slick Vidaa 5.0 streaming platform. But is it good enough to be one of 2021’s best gaming TVs?

The A6G is a pretty decent looker for the cash. The panel is framed by a smart dark grey bezel, with two plastic feet left and right. If you’re near-field gaming, then you’ll need to invest in some accommodatingly wide AV furniture.
Alternatively, this is actually a good screen to wall-mount, as it weighs a remarkably light (for the size) 11.3kg.
The set has three HDMIs on the rear. However, this won’t be bursting onto our best 120Hz 4K TV guide as none offer 4K 120Hz support — which isn’t surprising given the price — but there is some HDMI 2.1 functionality, with low latency ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode) and VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) support. There’s also eARC for routing audio out to a soundbar. Additional connectivity comprises an analog video minijack input, digital optical audio output if you need it, and Ethernet to support Wi-Fi.
We do have an early area of contention though. Hisense claims an input lag of better than 20ms for the A6G. However, we measured input lag at 48.2ms (1080/60) with Game mode selected, making it a potential stumbling block when looking at the A6G through the lens of the best TV for PS5 and Xbox Series X.

The TV comes with a single, slim remote control, peppered with content shortcuts: Netflix, Amazon Prime, Rakuten TV, YouTube, and Freeview Play all fall easily to thumb.
Connected smarts are good. For US buyers, the A6G ships with the Android smart platform. So that makes an extensive streaming app selection a given, and you also get Chromecast built-in. US buyers will get Google Assistant to chat with, while UK buyers are also offered Amazon Alexa.
The UK iteration of the A6G comes with the latest version of Hisense’s own Vidaa smart platform. This V.5 edition is built squarely around streaming apps and content curation. All the usual suspects are on board, including Netflix, Amazon Video Prime, YouTube, and Rakuten TV. The set also has Freeview Play, which adds all the main catch-up TV apps plus a huge number of free-to-view box sets.
Driving everything along is a quad-core processor, which keeps the set nice and responsive, too, which can sometimes be a stumbling block on more budget-level TVs.

Performance
I like the way the A6G presents itself. The set does a good job balancing the technical compromises that come with a fairly budget price tag, and all-important eye candy.
This flatscreen may not employ a wide color gamut panel, but that doesn’t stop it from being deliciously vibrant when required. The Korean Sci-Fi movie Space Sweepers (on Netflix) looks gorgeous, with the set showing off its ultra-fine 4K detail and striking visual effects. You have to be careful with the image presets on offer, though: standard and Dynamic are actually the most rewarding, with the dedicated Cinema presets often looking a tad drab.
The set employs 60Hz MEMC (Motion Estimation Motion Compensation) interpolation, which works really well. Appropriately named Ultra Smooth settings are available in Smooth, Standard, Clear, Film, and Custom guises. The latter allows for manual adjustment of judder and blur reduction. This cocktail works well for sports and action shows, although some might find the soap opera effect a bit of a turn-off for movies. I think the screen looks more filmic with interpolation switched off.
We measured peak HDR brightness at 300 nits in the Standard preset, with a 10 percent window.
It delivers this level of intensity consistently, regardless of how small the specular highlight is. This level of performance is in line with what we’d expect to see at this price point so it’s all safe and solid.

The good news is that Dolby Vision makes the most of compatible content, expertly tone mapping to ensure content looks as dynamic as possible. There is loads of Dolby Vision content to be had on Netflix, although infuriatingly not the new Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness show. There are three preset options to choose from: Dolby Vision Bright, Dolby Vision Dark, and Dolby Vision Custom. Generally, the Bright setting works best.
Here’s a tip for free, though: for the greatest contrast, don’t view programs in rooms with all the lights off, as this can cause deep blacks to grey out. A low level of ambient light will make all the difference when it comes to retaining dynamic contrast.
Elsewhere, rounding off the experience, the sound system is stereophonic, rated at a modest 2 x 8W.
Our suggestion would be to select the Theater sound mode, as this unlocks the soundstage and it feels more open — alternatively rely on your best gaming headset candidate or pick up one of the best gaming sound systems to turn your set up to 11.

Overall — should you buy it?
The A6G is a superior budget TV offering, that often looks a good deal more highbrow than its price tag might suggest, and the brand’s smart connectivity ensures plenty of streaming options plus niceties like voice control. HDR peak brightness is par for the budget course, but the inclusion of Dolby Vision is a saving grace, ensuring its image always looks filmic.
The A6G is a fine choice for big-screen movies and TVs, and while not able to handle the PS5 or Xbox Series X in full 4K 120fps flight, looks suitably sharp with 4K 60Hz games. We would have liked to have seen 4K 120fps HDMI support, but given the price point, that would have been quite a big ask. We’ll settle for ALLM and VRR.
Latency isn’t competition-grade though, so don’t buy for serious FPS gaming.
Thanks to powerful interpolation, it’s also good for sports, be it FIFA 21 or the real thing. If you’re looking for a well-specified flatscreen, then for the price, the A6G is difficult to resist.

The next generation PlayStation 5 console , like the Xbox Series X, will not be equipped with an optical audio output port.
The confirmation did not come directly from the Sony , since the company has not yet shown the back of the set-top box, but from the manufacturer of headsets Astro , who told the press which of his products would be compatible with nextgen platforms.
At a briefing attended by Destructoid, Astro confirmed that in order for to make its headsets that require an optical audio port compatible with the PS5 , the company has developed its own HDMI splitter to optics. It decouples the audio signal from HDMI, providing a 4K pass-through. Astro claims that the device does not cause signal delays and supports HDMI 2.1 and HDCP. nine0003
The adapter will sell for $40 , but if you enter your existing Astro headphone serial code on the company’s website, you will receive a $15 discount.
Some may be disappointed by the news, but it must be admitted that optical audio is now an obsolete standard — it was used in the PlayStation 2 more than 20 years ago, so it is not surprising that Sony decided to move on.
