Gran Turismo 6 is in many ways a «transitional model» with technologies, physics and ideas that are already becoming cramped on the PlayStation 3. Everything that is in it is done much better than in the fifth part (except for the already mentioned sound and artificial intelligence), and what is not there will be added in the coming months.
Of course, this game still does not claim to be a full-fledged revolution. Rather — on her harbinger. But even if you traveled the previous part of the series far and wide, it’s worth going to the sixth part at least for the sake of new physics, better multiplayer, a couple of hundred new cars and a dozen tracks.

Gran Turismo 6 takes itself too seriously and requires you to do the same, and this both helps and hinders it. It’s hard to enjoy it right away, it can seem outdated and incomprehensible in many ways, you need to carefully understand it, you need to learn and try, but when it finally works right, it will give you those emotions that no other race can give. This is both an extended version of Gran Turismo 5 and a prologue for Gran Turismo 7: whenever the next part comes out (and it will happen on PS4, of course), you will have something to keep yourself busy all this time.

Gran Turismo 6 is a game created by genuine car maniacs, with soul and from the heart. And although players who are far from the topic may not like it, it’s not scary. Sooner or later, she will beat off her millions anyway. The game, as before, sometimes causes admiring exclamations, then, with the same success, annoying ones. Nevertheless, nothing better in the genre has not yet come out. The creation of Kazunori Yamauchi is more than a game.

Gran Turismo 6 isn’t perfect. There are many vestiges of the past in it, from which it would be time to get rid of a long time ago. But, if you try to close your eyes to some of them, the game remains at least an amazing game. Thanks to the diligence of the authors, their devotion and love for cars, you get inhuman pleasure from every perfectly passed turn and the roar of the engine.
