Mal Hand aufs Herz: Es ist echt schwer, eine gute Maus für große Hände zu finden. Dennoch ist eine gute Gaming-Maus extrem wichtig, vor allem wenn ihr ernsthafter PC-Zocker seid. Insbesondere der Komfort einer Maus spielt für alle Gamer mit großen Händen eine noch größere Rolle, zumal ihr ansonsten schnell Krämpfe bekommt.

Zum Glück gibt es auf dem Markt viele hervorragende Mäuse, die für große Hände konzipiert wurden. Daher stellen wir euch hier unsere Favoriten vor, von denen wir die meisten bereits selbst getestet oder noch in Benutzung haben.

Folgende Tabelle enthält unsere derzeitigen Topempfehlungen für Mäuse für große Hände. Sehr wichtig war uns, dass alle Modelle gleichzeitig lang und breit sind. Dadurch habt ihr nicht nur genügend Ablagefläche für eure Hand, sondern auch eine angenehme Griffbreite.

Allerdings sollten alle Empfehlungen auch in den Kategorien Sensorik, Preisleistung und Verarbeitung überzeugen — wie bei allen unseren Maus-Tests.

Den Auftakt macht unser Spartipp, die Logitech G402 (Hyperion Fury). Obwohl diese Maus schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist, passt sie perfekt in unsere Liste der besten großen Mäuse. Denn sie ist mit ihren 13,6 cm die Zweitlängste unserer Empfehlungen und eignet sich damit hervorragend für große Hände.

Und noch besser: Der Vorgänger der beliebten G502 ist mittlerweile sehr günstig zu haben. Aber auch abseits des guten Preises ist sie eine großartige kabelgebundene Gaming-Maus, vor allem für FPS-Spiele. Sie ist unglaublich gut verarbeitet und bietet eine ergonomische Form, die besser für einen rechtshändigen Handflächen- oder Klauengriff geeignet ist. Zudem verfügt die G402 über eine große Anzahl programmierbarer Tasten, einschließlich einer speziellen Scharfschützen-Taste an der Seite.

Technisch gesehen erreicht der Sensor eine außergewöhnliche Leistung: Mit geringer Klicklatenz. perfektem Tracking und hoher Abfragerate sorgt er für ein reaktionsschnelles sowie reibungsloses Spielerlebnis. Leider ist sie etwas schwerer (das ist aber recht normal bei größeren Mäusen) und das gummibeschichtete Kabel ist etwas steif. Außerdem ist das Scrollrad ziemlich einfach gehalten und erlaubt keine Neigungseingabe oder unendliches Scrollen. Abgesehen davon bekommt ihr hier aber einen Preisleistungskracher mit hoher Qualität.

Etwas kürzer in der Länge, dafür aber breiter kommt die Logitech G502 als Nachfolger der G402 perfekt für alle mit großen Händen in Frage. Was ihr hier für etwas mehr Geld bekommt sind ein besserer Sensor, leicht besseres Kabel sowie einige weitere Funktionen, die die G402 nicht bietet.

Die Logitech G502 HERO ist eine großartige kabelgebundene Gaming-Maus, die sich gut anfühlt und ein erstklassiges Design hat. Sie verfügt über eine Vielzahl programmierbarer Tasten, eine geringe Klicklatenz und einen großzügig anpassbaren DPI-Bereich (bis maximal 16.000). Obwohl die G502 ziemlich schwer ist, kommt sie mit fünf entfernbaren Gewichten daher, mit denen ihr das Gewicht an eure eigenen Vorlieben anpassen könnt.

Durch die ganzen Zusatztasten eignet sie sich perfekt für MMOs oder MOBAS, aber auch für andere Genres kann sie verwendet werden. Was hier besonderes heraussticht ist das Mausrad, welches eine «unendlich» Scrollen-Funktion hat (extrem praktisch beim Surfen). Auf Grund ihrer großzügigen Breite und dem leicht ergonomischen Layout ist sie für Leute mit großen Händen sehr bequem — und das ist die Hauptsache. So, letzte Logitech Maus — versprochen. Aber die G602 MUSS man einfach als eine der größten Mäuse auf dem Markt erwähnen. In unserer Bestenliste ist sie sogar die größte Maus — zumindest was die Länge angeht. Aber auf Grund des klobigen Designs (das wollen wir hier!) bringt das Teil mit 152g auch jede Menge Gewicht mit auf die Waage. Viele von euch stört das bei großen Mäusen natürlich nicht, aber es sei gesagt.

Jedenfalls ist die G602 jedoch eine der bequemsten großen Mäuse, zumal sie für alle Griffarten bedenkenlos zu empfehlen ist. Wegen ihrer ergonomischen Form ist sie für Rechtshänder perfekt geeignet und auch für längere Spielesessions bequem (insbesondere aufgrund der tollen Daumenablage).

Insgesamt ist die G602 eine sehr gute (große) kabellose Maus. Sie wird an einen USB-Empfänger angeschlossen und erreicht dennoch eine sehr geringe Klicklatenz von nur 14ms. Leider wird kein Bluetooth unterstützt, die Sensorleistung ist allerdings sehr gut. Alle die mit sehr hoher Mausempfindlichkeit zocken, werden wohl von den maximal 2500 DPI etwas enttäuscht sein — für die meisten ist das aber ausreichend. Dazu kommen noch mehr programmierbare Tasten als bei der G502, wodurch ihr mehr Flexibilität bei der Tastenbelegung bekommt.

Wer also eine wirklich große und gewichtige Maus fürs Gaming sucht, der wird mit diesem kabellosen Modell sicherlich glücklich. Alternativ könnt ihr euch auch den Nachfolger G604* anschauen, allerdings ist diese Maus etwas kleiner, bietet jedoch eine leicht bessere Performance und Akkuleistung.

Euch waren die Logitech-Mäuse von oben zu lang und ihr wollt eher was extrem breites zwischen die Pranken? Dann schaut euch die Kone Aimo von Roccat mal an. Denn auch dieser Kandidat zählt mit seiner perfekten ergonomischen Form zu den besten großen Gaming-Mäusen — egal für welche Griffart. Trotz der 130g Kampfgewicht eignet sie sich für alle Genres, für FPS-Spiele natürlich wie immer unter Einschränkung.

Technisch gesehen ist die Kone Aimo einwandfrei. Hier bekommt ihr den optischen Owl-Eye Sensor mit 12.000 DPI, 1000 hz Pollingrate, 7 frei belegbare Tasten sowie einen praktischen DPI-Switch an der Oberseite. Das Tracking des Sensors ist perfekt und auch die Gleiteigenschaften suchen ihresgleichen (wir denken die Kone Aimo ist eine Maus mit einer der besten Gleitfähigkeiten auf dem Markt. Zudem zählt die RGB-Beleuchtung zu den besten am Markt und kann problemlos mit der guten Swarm-Software angepasst werden.

Endlich mal was für unsere Linkshänder mit großen Händen — eine saucoole kabellose Maus von Alienware. Die Alienware AW610M ist eine ziemlich einzigartig aussehende Gaming-Maus, ist aber auch nicht zu auffällig. Trotzdem sehen die vier RGB-Lichter stylish aus, obwohl sie alle als dieselbe Zone gesteuert werden.

Durch ein symmetrisches Design ist sie trotz der Seitentasten auf der linken Seite für Links- und Rechtshänder geeignet. An der Rückseite sorgen Ausbuchtungen für ein angenehmes Ablegen der Hand, allerdings ist das Design für Fingertip-Spieler nicht immer ideal.

Der kabellose Betrieb funktioniert nur über einen drahtlosen 2,4-GHz-USB-Dongle, Bluetooth wird auch hier nicht unterstützt. Dennoch funktioniert das Ganze einwandfrei ohne Inputlag und sonstige Probleme. Die 610M funktioniert auch gut als kabelgebundene Maus, indem sie über das Micro-USB-Ladekabel angeschlossen wird. Das Beste ist, dass die AW610M eine spektakuläre Batterielebensdauer von bis zu 350 Stunden hat — und das mit einer einzigen Aufladung.

Bei den großen Mäusen für Linkshänder gibt es tatsächlich wenig Auswahl, aber die Alienware AW610 liefert definitiv eine sehr gute Performance ab. Wenn auch für etwas zu viel Geld und mit ein paar fehlenden Features. Alles in allem erfüllt sie mit ihren Maßen jedoch den Zweck und wird Linkshändern mit Pranken einen guten Dienst erweisen.

Corsair Scimitar ELITE

Ihr habt große Hände, wollt eine der besten MMO-Mäuse, aber die G602 von oben reicht euch einfach nicht aus? Dann ist die Corsair Scimitar eure Rettung. Obwohl sie bezüglich ihrer Länge nicht die größte Maus ist sie dennoch breit genug, um euren Riesendatschern genügend Komfort zu bieten.

Was einem sofort ins Auge springt, ist das seitliche Arsenal an Mausbuttons. Genau deshalb ist Corsair Scimitar nämlich ist eine hervorragende Maus für MMO- oder MOBA-Spiele. Mit 12 komplett programmierbaren Seitentasten habt ihr hier allerlei Möglichkeiten, eure Keybindings zu optimieren.

Außerdem ist die Scimitar dank eines Aluminiumrahmens eine der stabiler gebauten Mäuse, die wir getestet haben. Dazu kommt der heftige 18K-Sensor, welcher durch pixelgenaues fehlerfreies Tracking sowie einem sehr breiten DPI-Bereich überzeugt. Zudem könnt ihr in der übersichtlichen iCUE-Software jede Menge Anpassungen vornehmen.

Die Maus hat ein kurzes Design mit einem recht hohen Buckel an der Rückseite, was sie für den Klauengriff ziemlich universell macht. Dadurch eignet sie sich jedoch weniger für extra große Hände im Handflächengriff.

Wir hatten die Corsair Scimitar PRO RGB im Test, welche sich lediglich in dem leicht anderen Sensor (16K vs. 18K) unterscheidet, ansonsten aber gleich ist.

Mit der ROG Chakram von ASUS bekommt ihr nicht nur eine der besten Mäuse für große Hände, sondern auch eine der besten kabellosen Gaming-Mäuse. In unserem Test zur ASUS Chakram hat das Teil auf jeden Fall ordentlich abgeräumt und überzeugte uns in quasi allen Belangen — außer der Preisleistung. Denn die wirklich gute Maus ist leider sehr teuer.

Dennoch bekommt ihr ordentlich was für euer Geld. Zum Einen wäre da der einzigartige Joystick an der linken Seite, welchen man so bislang noch bei keiner anderen Maus findet. Der Joystick ist komplett anpassbar und kann in einigen Spielen quasi als Controller-Ersatz eingesetzt werden. Aber auch für Dinge wie Videoschnitt ist das Ding ziemlich praktisch.

Dazu gibt es für den Preis natürlich noch jede Menge weitere Features wie Bluetooth-Support, 2,4 GHz Betrieb, einen via Qi-fähigen Mauspads aufladbaren Akku (der 80 Stunden hält), einen fehlerfreien 16K-Sensor, komplett austauschbare Omron-Switches, 3 RGB-Zonen und mehr.

Allerdings überzeugt die Chakram beim Wichtigsten Punkt für Gamer mit großen Händen: Dem Design. Mit ihren 13,3 cm Länge zählt die Chakram zu den größeren Mäusen und passt perfekt für alle mit großen Händen. Die ergonomische Form ist für Rechtshänder perfekt und unabhängig von eurem Griffstil sehr bequem. Zudem sieht das Ding einfach geil aus.

Woher weiß ich, ob ich eine große Gaming-Maus brauche?

Na wenn ihr eben große Hände habt (breit und lang). Aber Spaß beiseite, was bedeutet denn «große Hände»? Denn das ist ein relativer Begriff. Allerdings haben wir dazu eine einfache Herangehensweise: Messt eure Handgröße in der Länge und Breite.

Wie ihr in den Bildern sehen könnt, messt ihr eure Hand von der Handwurzel aus in der Länge, sowie nehmt für die Breite den Daumen mit dazu.

Danach multipliziert ihr 60% mit den gemessenen Werten, um eine «optimale» Mausgröße für euch zu errechnen.

Als Beispiel hier also 19 cm *0,6= 11,4cm und 9,8 cm * 0,6 = 5,9 cm. Die «Idealmaße» für Sascha’s Maus wären also 11,4cm Länge und 6cm Breite. Das sind aber aber nur ungefähre Richtwerte und jeder ist da individuell etwas anders in den Vorlieben sowie dem Grifftyp.

Wann gilt eure Hand denn jetzt aber als groß? Da die Durchschnittslänge und Breite einer Hand beim Mann ungefähr 19,3 und 8,9cm beträgt (siehe Quelle), ist alles darüber «groß». Sascha’s Hand ist in diesem Beispiel also nur mittelgroß. Sollte eure Handlänge also entsprechend länger als 19,3cm sein, dann braucht ihr definitiv eine von den oben empfohlenen großen Mäusen fürs Gaming.

Für wen eignen sich große Mäuse am ehesten?

Große Mäuse eignen sich nicht nur einfach für alle mit großen Händen. Für Gamer gibt es noch ein paar Kriterien anhand derer ihr festmachen könnt, ob eine Riesenmaus für euch das richtige ist:

  • Ihr bevorzugt Clawgrip oder Palmgrip
  • Schwerere Mäuse mögt ihr grundsätzlich lieber
  • Ihr spielt eher mit höherer Mausempfindlichkeit
  • Ihr hebt die Maus während dem Spielen selten an, um sie neu auszurichten

Was passiert, wenn eure Maus zu klein ist?

Wenn ihr eine zu kleine Maus verwendet, kann das für eure Gesundheit sowie das Gamingerlebnis einige Nachteile haben:

  • Unbequeme und unnatürliche Handstellungen, was auf Dauer zu Krämpfen und Schmerzen in Arm, Fingern und Hand führen kann
  • Ihr werdet nicht euer volles Potenzial im Spiel ausschöpfen können (Stichwort Aiming und Reaktion)
  • Ihr werdet ungewollt in eine Griffart gezwungen, die euch nicht liegt (oft Claw- oder Fingergriff) — da ihr sonst nicht klicken könnt
  • Eure Handfläche wird nicht sauber unterstützt, wodurch eure Hand schneller ermüdet

Worauf kommt es bei Gaming-Mäusen generell an?

ᐅ Die beste Gaming-Maus für große Hände

Für manche Männer ist es ein Segen und für manche ein Fluch: große Hände. Bei den gängigen Größen an Gaming-Mäusen kann es manchmal schwer sein Platz zu finden für so viel Hand, aber es gibt ein paar bei denen es kein Problem sein sollte.

Große Hand = große Gaming-Maus?

Ich würde sagen ja. Eine große Hand findet auf einer kleinen Gaming-Maus wie z.B. der ROCCAT Kone Pure keinen Platz und selbst wenn, dann nur mit verkrampften und gequetschten Fingern. Auf Dauer ist das schlecht für Deine Sehnen und Gelenke.

Genauso können kleine Hände auch nicht zu große Gaming-Mäuse bedienen oder hast Du schon einmal versucht einen Basketball mit einer Hand zu halten? Wenn Du das schaffst, dann hast Du in der Regel große Hände. 😉

Für die folgende Tabelle musst Du die Länge (Fingerspitze bis zum Handballen-Ende) und die Breite Deiner Hand ausmessen. Eine kleine Hand liegt unter 16,9 cm (S), eine normale Hand liegt bei 17-19,5 cm (M) und eine große Hand liegt bei 19,6 cm und mehr (L).

Auch die Handbreite ist wichtig, allerdings ist diese nicht so ganz einfach einzuordnen. In der Regel könnte man aber sagen alles unter 8,5 cm ist klein, mittel liegt bei 8,6-9,75 cm und groß ist 10 cm und drüber.

Es gibt auch einen Unterschied zwischen Fingertip-Grip und Claw-/Plam-Grip. Allerdings ist dieser Unterschied so gering, dass ich ihn beim Festlegen der Maus-Handgrößen ignoriert habe. Eine Maus kann aber bei gleichen Längen unterschiedlichen Handgrößen entsprechen und das liegt entweder an der Breite oder an der gängigen Verwendung der Maus.

Nimm diese Tabelle außerdem nur als Vorschlag. Nicht jeder Mensch ist gleich und manche Menschen bevorzugen mit großen Händen kleine Mäuse. Diese Tabelle zeigt nur den Durchschnittswert und dient als Orientierungshilfe.

The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind
