Every Answer For Captain Cryptic’s Quiz In Final Fantasy 13-2
Final Fantasy 13-2 is as nonlinear as its predecessor is linear. It’s the Final Fantasy 13 development team flexing their ability to create something more focused on side content, building a more vibrant fictional setting as a result. Much of the game’s side content should feel familiar to JRPG fans. Chocobo racing is a Final Fantasy staple. Hitting the slots at a casino feels distinctly Dragon Quest. But Captain Cryptic’s Quiz is an entirely different beast.

Captain Cryptic’s Quiz is a sprawling set of questions. Successfully answering a fair number of them can unlock some prime rewards, but be warned: this is no basic addition and subtraction questionnaire. Some of these questions could have feasibly appeared in «Trivial Pursuit: Serah and Noel Edition,» were such a thing to (somehow) exist.
This guide will answer every possible question that Captain Cryptic can toss at you, making life more than a bit easier for anyone who doesn’t feel like going through a great deal of trial-and-error.
How to Unlock Captain Cryptic’s Quiz
Captain Cryptic’s Quiz becomes available shortly after reaching Academia 4XX AF in the main story. Look for Hope toward the northern portion of the area map. After the conversation, use Mog to search for a hidden character nearby. This strange gent’s called — wait for it — Captain Cryptic.
Upon discovering him, he’ll ask his first question — which, like all the rest, is randomly generated from all possible queries — before vanishing. You will need to locate him all over again after each successful answer.
Cryptic chooses from 11 different hiding spots between rounds. The bulk of them, seven to be exact, are in the Grand Avenue area.
One is in the alley, with the final three scattered across New Town.

In addition to Captain Cryptic’s Confounding Quiz, there are four terminals on Academy grounds, each with its own set of questions. For the terminals, ten questions will need to be answered in a row in order to claim victory.
The prize for completing a five-question quiz is a fragment. These highly sought-after key items are your ticket to unlocking a plethora of game-boosting abilities. Captain Cryptic will present five quizzes to you in total, meaning you can earn a total of five fragments in this manner.

Square Enix has officially announced that Final Fantasy 14’s PS5 open beta will begin on April 13th. It is noteworthy that on the same day the patch for version 5.5 will be released.
Final Fantasy 14 for PlayStation 5 boasts lightning-fast load times, dramatically increased frame rates, native 4K resolution, 3D audio, and the haptic feedback that the DualSense controller is known for.
Here’s a step-by-step guide for owners of the brand new Sony console on how to take part in the bug bounty:
