The best boxing game available 8 years on
Even tho this game came out in 2011 it’s still the best boxing experience to be had.
It offers a story mode that is enjoyable enough to finish in a relatively short amount of time although it somewhat predictable it’s still a lot of fun.
The online aspect of the game is fantastic with hours upon hours of enjoyment the fights are tactical and offer real excitement and tension.
I don’t agree that the controls are confusing but saying that I’ve played finght night 3/4 and this one. If you haven’t played this game and you are a fan of boxing don’t hesitate to pick this up. It’s backwards compatible so you can okay this on Xbox one if that’s your chosen consol. All in all for the age and the price this game has to be a 10/10 because their simply isint a better boxing out there

For those of you who may be looking for a quick boxing fix, this could be it. Very fun, easy to play game. But, if you want to play online, nearly everyone is top notch since the game has been around so long. Plus, it seems as if you can no longer download boxers to play with so that’s definitely a bummer (no Mayweather-McGregor or GGG-Canelo), but if you just want to play Fight Now or the amazing career mode, it’s definitely worth the 30 bucks.

This is the best Boxing game, no doubt. Has the best graphics, really good gameplay, and has its own little story! It’s really nice — if you’re a Boxing fan, get this. It has legacy mode, so it’ll last a while — but, it does get repetitive after a while.

Bivol confidently defeated Ramirez and is ready for the status of the absolute world boxing champion

Russian boxer Dmitry Bivol defeated Mexican Gilberto Ramirez by unanimous decision and defended his World Boxing Association (WBA) light heavyweight title. The fight took place on Sunday night in Abu Dhabi.

The Russian boxer dominated throughout the fight while Ramirez couldn’t find the keys to defending his opponent. Bivol was faster and more accurate than his counterpart, confidently finishing the fight with a victory. All three judges gave the victory to the Russian — 118:110, 117:111, 117:111. Bivol defended the championship title for the tenth time.
«I can box better,» he said after the fight. «I was up against a good opponent, but his punches didn’t really bother me. I worked in series of three or four punches, trying to keep my opponent on his toes.»
«Ramirez was bigger than me, but that’s not a problem. Now I would like to fight for all the belts in this weight,» added the boxer.
Alvarez or Beterbiev?
Bivol’s most likely opponent in the next fight is the Mexican Saul Alvarez, whom the Russian has already defeated last spring. A representative of Alvarez told TASS that the Mexican boxer is ready to have a rematch in early 2023.
Bivol’s promoter Andrei Ryabinsky, in turn, in a conversation with TASS, admitted that Alvarez could «run from revenge.»
«Bivol, so to speak, ‘took Ramirez to school,’ taught a lesson,» Ryabinsky said. «I wouldn’t give a single round to the Mexican. Usually people like it when there are knockouts, but those who understand, love just such fights. Now there should be a rematch against Canelo (Alvarez’s nickname — approx. TASS), this story needs to be promoted.
«But won’t he run away from revenge when he sees Bivol’s level?» added the promoter.
Bivol himself has repeatedly noted that he is ready to fight against Artur Beterbiev, the World Boxing Council (WBC), International Boxing Federation (IBF) and World Boxing Organization (WBO) world champion title holder.
At the same time, Beterbiev will have a fight against Briton Anthony Yarde on January 28 in London.
Bivol deserved victory
Promoter and former world champion Oscar de la Hoya called Bivol’s victory over Alvarez deserved.
«A well-deserved victory for Dmitry Bivol. Gilberto couldn’t show his boxing. Is the Alvarez-Bivol rematch interesting? I think it’s primarily financially, well, Saul wants to try to return the favor,» said de la Hoya.
31-year-old Bivol is still undefeated in the professional ring — 21 wins (11 by knockout). He has held the WBA world title since 2017. Ramirez suffered the first defeat of his professional career with 44 wins (30 by knockout).

The long-awaited fight for the title of world boxing champion version of the WBA Super in the first heavyweight (up to 90.
72 kg) between Arsen Gulamiryan and Alexei Egorov will take place on the night of November 19-20, 2022 in Le Cannet. This will be the third title defense for the 35-year-old Gulamiryan, who, however, did not enter the professional ring for almost three years. However, the mandatory challenger Yegorov also did not fight for more than two and a half years. At the same time, both boxers only won in their previous fights.
In general, the fight between Gulamiryan and Yegorov was supposed to take place a year ago — in mid-December 2021, the fighters flew to Yekaterinburg and even went through the official weigh-in procedure, however, in the end, the champion refused to enter the ring due to health problems. At the same time, already at that time, Yegorov, according to him, had studied his opponent for more than two years and was determined to take the prestigious belt. Although, it is clear that Gulamiryan has a completely different opinion on this matter.
A native of Armenia and a citizen of France looked good even in amateurs, and made his professional debut more than ten years ago, in 2019year. He has 26 wins and 18 knockouts in 26 fights, but he entered the world boxing elite only in 2018, when he won the interim WBA world title, defeating Riad Merhi by technical knockout in the 11th round.
In the same year, Gulamiryan beat Mark Flanagan’s ahead of schedule and already in the status of a super champion in 2019 held two successful defenses in November and December with a month and a half difference with Kane Watts and Constantin Bejenaru , also, by the way, finishing the fights ahead of schedule. Many consider the more experienced Gulamiryan to be the favorite of the upcoming fight, although taking into account his long break in his career, it is extremely difficult to assess the form of the French boxer. However, the current state of Yegorov is a mystery. So the chances of the champion, taking into account the native walls (fight in France), still look more preferable.
