Liberty Reprimed
Kriegsbeute
Proktor Ingram erwartet euch bereits.

Fallout 4: Blinder Verrat, Taktisches Denken
Fallout 4: Kriegsbeute
Fallout 4: Ad Victoriam, Die atomare Option, Eine neue Zeit
Hier geht der Brotherhood-Handlungsstrang weiter, komme, was wolle.

They breed non-stop! Best Vampire Survivors Clones
The success of Vampire Survivors became so overwhelming that it shocked the developer himself. Tens of thousands of people have left laudatory reviews on Steam. People liked to turn their hero into the personification of death and mow down opponents by the thousands in one session. With such success, it was only a matter of time before the game had clones. Some of them even achieved success — we will talk about them in this article.

Left 4 Dead popularized the concept of a four-player game. The developers from Fatshark took it and focused on close combat. The result is Vermintide, a game where you slaughter hordes of giant rats in a Warhammer fantasy world. Darktide takes place in the dark world of Warhammer 40k. Did the game stand out, or did it become Vermintide in space? Now we’ll tell you.

Pocket Tarkov. Lost Light Review
Lost Light has gained fame as a mobile Escape from Tarkov, but this is not entirely true. NetEase, of course, peeped a lot from the hit from Battlestate Games, but the Chinese developers put a completely different hit — PUBG Mobile from Tencent — at the heart of the gameplay. The resulting remix of two well-known projects claims to be the best mobile shooter.

Players believe that the new project of «dad» Dead Space, Glenn Scofield, revives the genre of AAA-horror, forcing even the most seasoned players to hide in a corner and whimper in fear. In part they are right. Partly.
I must say right away that there is not a drop of sarcasm in the title of the review. And I know very well that many will not agree with me, given how much time has passed and all those verbal battles on the forum in the topic of impressions of the game. Surely many will decide to ask the question: why now? After all, so much time has passed, all the add-ons have come out, so many reviews, streams and what not was on this topic. Why do we need another Fallout 4 review? Answer: I wanted to. I specifically waited for the release of all the patches and official add-ons in order to get the most complete impression of the game. So the delay was necessary. So… The first thing that Besedka really succeeded in (unlike the soap bubble in Skyrim, which was promoted as best they could before the release) was the editor. Somehow I immediately remembered Oblivion, only adjusted for … five to seven years ahead. With a little digging, you can even find quite good presets of already created characters. It even somehow … pleasantly surprised, because it was expected that the developers, according to the good old tradition, would again insert the freaks from the Kunstkammer there. Well, a good start, especially for those who remember their disappointment in Skyrim when trying to create at least something digestible in appearance for themselves and ran into a castrated stump instead of a character editor. And there is nothing to say about the editors of Fallout 3 and FNV. And the feature with a mirror is not bad, when, changing the gender of the character, the husband simply moves away from the mirror, letting his wife pass to him. Not a genius of originality, of course, but there is a gap in the Arbor’s patterns. Old — new world… For the first time in the history of the series, though not much and not for long, we can still see the world BEFORE the war. The world, with all its illogical nonsense in the form of black and white TVs, next to which a robot calmly flies, whose level of intelligence will be higher than that of many people. It’s the same as now, next to an old Soviet TV… those, you know, with such a small screen, they also put an aquarium in front of them so that you can see better. They also exploded more often than they turned on … so, next to such a TV, put a child playing with a smartphone. And then, the gap, probably, will not be so great. However, the number of initial SPECIAL points when creating a character has become significantly less, however, now they can be easily developed even from the second level. At the same time, all perks are now broken down by these parameters. For example: The strength parameter, and under it all the perks that relate to it. The same with everyone else. As a result, in order to get some kind of perk, you must either have a sufficient amount of the required SPECIAL parameter, or also have a certain character level. It would be nice to have a link to the SPECIAL parameters, but linking to a level is not good, because a lot of useful skills are taken only at high levels and it will not be possible to develop yourself, for example, hacking computers to the maximum, or, for example, the ability to improve weapons and armor soon. And this destroys the variability of character development at the root. Fortunately, the modders have already fixed this jamb. New story in the old style! Trouble again, our «lone wanderer» on the family front. True, this time it was not his beloved dad, but his beloved one-year-old son, and the other half was shot in passing. And this is a serious reason to go to warm up. Those who know what paternal or maternal feelings are will understand. For those to whom this is still alien, imagine that you shot a loved one. If there are none, then you, the beginning of the plot, most likely, will not seem motivating to act. In addition, here the psychological moment is very important. Two only people were killed and disappeared, which connect GG with THAT time. And even if it’s not even a husband / wife with a son, but some friend there … or a neighbor … it was still worth finding. True, then you can run not so fast, and not necessarily, so … for the sake of interest rather. Good morning! As soon as the fairy tale from the future ends and the player is plunged into the world of pain and suffering (after all, we don’t have pip-boy yet), you can find that in terms of action, the game has become much more cheerful. Shooting is now very pleasant. And even the new feature for VATS, which now only slows down time, is not so annoying. And if, for example: in F3 and FNV, VATS was your best friend due to the extremely poor action component of these games, then this time, things have moved on. Bright Revival! Going out for a breath of fresh air, you may be surprised to find that a bright fairy tale from life BEFORE… there is nowhere to go. Yes, a little here and there «collapsed», «rusted», «burnt», and something was «grown up», skeletons are lying here and there, but otherwise «a beautiful marquise — everything is fine, everything is fine!» Guns and more guns! 10mm pistol, sexy tight blue suit, belief in victory, and… that’s NOT all we need to live. By the middle of the game, even if you loot to a negligee, with a dozen corpses (of course, died of natural causes in your presence), the inventory turns into a dump and it is very difficult to find something in it. And the improvements themselves are not in the most convenient way prescribed in the name of the subject. I wanted the best in Besedka, but it turned out … It’s true, the gun upgrades are great! From the initial 10mm pistol, you can easily make a submachine gun, or vice versa, reduce the rate of fire, increasing the firing range and damage. And there is nothing to say about increasing the clip or sight, silencer. Everything is there, choose and bet if your skills allow. And so you can change ALL weapons in the game. Moreover, it is to CHANGE, and not just improve as it was before. When your shotgun starts firing in automatic mode, this is no longer an improvement. And this is really a huge plus! Power armor deserves special mention! Right now, getting into this miracle of technology, you feel like a terminator. Echoing footsteps, jumping from great heights with no less impressive landing, pretty good resistance to damage… And the fact that wearing it, GG, with virtually no damage to yourself, you can destroy a dozen raiders and a death claw, already at the second level of development … Here, willy-nilly, you really begin to feel the power of high technologies. These are not enclave guards who died with three bullets in the head from a 10mm pistol in F3, and FNV is no better in this regard. In the past parts, power armor was a controversial thing, too little profit and big disadvantages. However, now, so that we do not get off the ground due to its steepness, power armor has power blocks, which, in fact, give it power. These blocks, without certain perks, wear out quickly, moreover, the armor also gradually gets damaged and needs to be repaired. And therefore, after the first acquaintance and the epic massacre, you will not run far in it. All the same, it will be necessary to put it in the garage until better times for repairs and until the blocks are found. But this is the best implementation of power armor in fallout from Besedka. In addition, modders have already made mods that remove both armor damage and power blocks. So you can have fun until you drop. Ehhh… Mass Effect… Mass Effect… We inherited the dialogue wheel from there. True, a little different from what it was in ME. Why is it shoved everywhere? Is it really that convenient? Pleased with the presence of sarcasm in the response options. This is when it is completely unclear what our «lone wanderer» will answer in the next phrase. But this is the whole point, since all the other answers and phrases are somehow not very thought-provoking and simplified to the point of impossibility. In addition, SPECIAL options no longer play a role in dialogues at all. If earlier, in certain situations, thanks to high strength, dexterity or intelligence, it was possible to blurt out something other than the standard options, then here we were deprived of even this, albeit not very often, opportunity. Not to call it a critical shortcoming, but earlier it at least diversified the dialogues a little, but here it was taken away. On the other hand, there was no sarcasm before! So one is one! Although Besedka reacted extremely coolly to the FNV, nevertheless, the chips from there did not go unnoticed. For example: the variability in the plot is very similar to New Vegas, where, in the same way, it was possible to play the game for any of the factions, except perhaps the Brotherhood of Steel, in Fallout 4 you can also go for the BS. Moreover, the partners of the protagonist have undergone serious processing! Now these are not just dumb doodles, as was the case in Fallout 3, Oblivion or Skyrim, now they have their own personal quests and worldview. Some of your actions will be approved by some and negatively perceived by your other companions. Moreover, almost everyone can be romantically involved. True, sex scenes, even in the most rigid limits of decency, alas, were not delivered. It’s amazing, but there are prostitutes, dismemberment and drugs, theft, and extortion, but there is no sex. Miracles! The saying immediately suggests itself: «You, father, then either take off your cross or put on a cassock.» Old-new world 2: Having reached the first representatives of Homo sapiens in the story, who do not want to illegally take over everything that is acquired by overwork, and, in the meantime, make holes in our GG that are not provided for by the genotype, we get a unique opportunity to really improve the life of the ordinary population in the wasteland. Such a strange situation, when people forget why and for what blood is shed, is not uncommon both in games and in real life. Even factions that are endowed with a fairly large technological superiority — like the BS and the enclave — do not use their potential even by one tenth. After all, how much they could do for ordinary people, who are the future of the wasteland. So no… Some are trying to kill everyone, while others are stupidly collecting technologies, they don’t understand why. And they are only enough to sometimes send detachments to clean up mutants. And most importantly, for the first time in the history of the series, we SEE the fruits of our efforts, not somewhere at the end of the game, in the final briefing, but in the game itself. Coming to a settlement with one rickety shack, and turning it into a fortress for several dozen people with luxury rooms, guarded by robots and turrets, we know that the next time we come there, we will be able to safely rest and store our goods or sell to new merchants. And so, improving settlement after settlement, the wastelands come to life, the population increases, raiders and mutants are now operating not so freely, you can, if you wish, start some kind of production if there is a safe base. |
