Twice «retired» Farv was reborn in Minnesota in 2009year. In a season that turned 40, he was selected to the Pro Bowl for the 11th time and led the Vikings to the conference finals, where they lost to New Orleans in overtime. He did not enter the Hall of Fame, but called it a «gift» that he was among the finalists three times. «I’m glad to know that people consider me to be an elite company,» he said last month.
