Destiny 2 Duality Loot table: Dungeon Weapons & Armor
Destiny 2’s newest dungeon, Duality, is here, and many are calling it Bungie’s best dungeon to date. Granted, every new dungeon or raid is often called “the best so far,” but Duality is different.
On top of offering the excellent sceneries Bungie has accustomed us to, it also features the most evolved and challenging mechanics ever seen in a dungeon.
This guide covers the entire Duality dungeon loot pool, including weapons, armor, and Exotics.

Duality dungeon weapons: Rolls & Perks
7. The Epicurean
Excels in PVP
This returning Fusion Rifle from The Menagerie used to be a fan favorite. But we’ll see how it performs these days, the competition has never been higher in the Fusion Rifles department…
PVP God roll:
- Perk 1: Snapshot Sights (also good: Quickdraw)
- Perk 2: Rangefinder
How to get it: The Epicurean can drop from either the first or final encounter of the dungeon.
6. New Purpose
Excels in PVE and PVP
New Purpose has the potential to become the best Stasis Pulse Rifle in the game, mainly because it can roll with the top-tier (and infamous) Desperado perk, but we’ll need to get our hands on a few god-rolls first.
PVP & PVE God roll:
- Perk 1: Perpetual Motion
- Perk 2: Desperado
How to get it: New Purpose can only drop from the final encounter of the dungeon.
5. Fixed Odds
Excels in PVE
Fixed Odds is another returning weapon from The Menagerie, but unlike The Epicurean, it comes back when the timing is just perfect: Machine guns just received a massive PvE buff. Plus it can roll with two of the best new perks this season: Incandescent (perfect for Solar 3.0 builds) and Killing Tally.
PVE God roll:
- Perk 1: Feeding Frenzy
- Perk 2: Incandescent (also good: Killing Tally)
How to get it: Fixed Odds can drop only from the final encounter of the dungeon.
4. Lingering Dread
Excels in PVE
Lingering Dread is a one-of-a-kind weapon: This is the first Stasis special ammo grenade launcher ever. It does have strong competition in the Kinetic slot (Ignition Code comes to mind) but it will unlock Stasis synergies that no other Special ammo grenade launcher can.
PVE God roll:
- Perk 1: Auto-Loading Holster
- Perk 2: Chill Clip (also good: Vorpal Weapon)
How to get it: Lingering Dread can drop from either the first or final encounter of the dungeon.
3. Unforgiven
Excels in PVE
Unforgiven is not “just another” Void SMG. It features excellent base stats and interesting perk combinations that can help it excel in PVE. A roll with Demolitionist and Golden Tricorn will do wonders with Void builds. But will it rise to the top of the Meta? Only time will tell…
PVE God roll:
- Perk 1: Demolitionist (also good: Feeding Frenzy)
- Perk 2: Golden Tricorn (also good: Adrenaline Junkie or Rampage)
How to get it: Unforgiven can drop from either the second or final encounter of the dungeon.
2. Stormchaser
Excels in PVE
This Linear Fusion Rifle features a brand-new archetype never seen before: A three-burst archetype. Early tests show it has insane DPS, potentially the highest in the game so far. As Saltagreppo, a World’s First PVE player puts it:
The Dungeon Linear is literally and by far the best weapon in the game. It’s a new burst archetype and the DPS is absurd.
PVE God roll:
- Perk 1: Clown Cartridge (also good: Rapid-Hit)
- Perk 2: Firing Line (also good: Vorpal Weapon)
How to get it: Stormchaser can drop from either the second or final encounter of the dungeon.
1. Heartshadow
Excels in PVE
It’s still too early to tell how good this Exotic is, but it sounds like the perfect weapon for a Nightstalker Hunter. To be confirmed as more people get their hands on it.
Exotic Perk: “Heavy attacks made with full Sword energy turn you invisible and fire exploding Void projectiles. Remaining invisible grants this weapon increased damage. Hitting a target with this weapon’s projectiles while invisible weakens them.”
How to get it: Heatshadow only drops from Duality’s final boss. Be aware that completing specific triumphs will increase your odds.
Duality dungeon Armor
As with every other dungeon in Destiny 2, Duality also offers one set of armor for each class:
- Deep Explorer Helmet
- Deep Explorer Chest
- Deep Explorer Arms
- Deep Explorer Legs
- Deep Explorer Class item
Duality dungeon armor
At first glance, these sets don’t look anything as exciting as those found in the Prophecy or Grasp of Avarice dungeons, but many are liking these new sets a lot.
Master Duality Loot
Just like the Grasp of Avarice dungeon, Duality also features a Master version. And just like Grasp of Avarice, it also offers Artifice armor.
From Reddit user u/Spawnling
In a nutshell, Artifice armor is unique because it offers a bonus Mod slot. Its intrinsic perk reads:
This armor contains a bonus socket that can be used to equid artifact armor mods from the current Season.
While most armor only offers 4 slots, Artifice armor offers 5:
- 1 General slot
- 2 Armor type slots (Helmet, legs, etc)
- 1 bonus Artifact slot
- 1 Combat style slot
This may not sound like much, but if you’re into endgame content and/or experimenting with intricate builds, having an extra armor slot can make a huge difference.
Duality Exotic items
This dungeon also features one exclusive item: An Exotic Ship:
Mandate of Strength Exotic Ship
Is the Duality dungeon farmable?
This dungeon can be farmed for unlimited loot. All you’ll need is a committed Fireteam and a couple of hours ahead of you. And unlike previous dungeons, where you can only farm gear you already have in your Collections, Duality can be farmed until every weapon and armor is found.
This is how you can farm the Duality dungeon:
- Go through the dungeon on your first character until you reach the encounter you want to farm.
- Start the encounter and wipe (i.e. die without beating it).
- Ask your Fireteam to wait. Change characters and log into a character that hasn’t run the dungeon that week.
- On that second character, join again your Fireteam.
- Wipe again. Now your second character has the proper checkpoint.
And that’s it. You can now farm that encounter ad nauseam until reset! To continue farming, you need to:
- Launch the dungeon using your second character (the one that is holding the checkpoint).
- Change characters and rejoin your Fireteam on your first character.
- Complete the encounter for loot.
- Exit the dungeon, switch characters again, and repeat Step 1.
Duality hidden chests
On top of rewarding loot when completing the main encounters, all dungeons in Destiny 2 have several hidden chests. We’ll be updating this section with a video guide as soon as the dungeon is out.
Duality trophies
Finally, for the completionists out there, these are all of the Duality trophies:
The Last Word
How are you liking this dungeon so far? Many are calling it their favorite. What do you think?
I’ve been covering gaming since 2012, and some of my work has been featured by large brands, including MSN.com, Forbes, Rock Paper Shotgun, and more. I’ve been obsessed with Destiny 2 for years now, and I hope to provide new and returning players with the guides and resources I wish I had when I first started.

6 Tips for the Last Wish Raid — In-Game Advisor
With the start of Season 17 Destiny 2 Destiny 2 raids are now in a weekly rotation. Whatever old raid is in the rotation for a given week, it will drop at the final encounter with a high level of armor, as well as reward players with the Pinnacle loot. This is a great way to get players back into old raids like The Last Wish, which is infamous for its obscure mechanics and the longest first day playthrough. However, years after the release of the Forsaken DLC, Destiny 2 Players have all the tools to take on this raid and destroy the Riven of a Thousand Voices.
6/6 Equip The Taken Spec Mod
This tip is for players who have completed The Last Wish a long time ago and may have forgotten about the nice little weapon mod called Taken Spec. This mod drops from the raid itself and is incredibly strong against Taken enemies when applied to a weapon. In fact, it’s better than Minor Spec, provided the enemies are Taken. The Taken Spec mod is useful in almost every part of the raid, but is especially useful in encounters like Kalli and Shuro-Chi where players need to remove ads to stay alive or complete the encounter mechanic. Apply it to weapons using primary ammo and players will be ready for battle.
5/6 Assigning Numbers During the Shuro-Chi Encounter
The Shuro-Chi is a relatively simple encounter in which players must quickly clear an advertisement and then deal high damage to the boss. However, between the three floors of this encounter, players will need to solve a tablet puzzle, which can be difficult to do under the time limit. An easy way to prevent wasting time is to assign numbers from 1 to 4 to four people in the raid. In each round of the plate puzzle, players will need to activate four plates. Thanks to the serial number, players will always know which plate to stand on. For example, player 1 will always stand on the first missing plate from left to right and top to bottom, player 2 will stand on the second missing plate from left to right and top to bottom, and so on. same plate. If the player realizes that he has already stood on the plate, he can ask to switch with one of the two players who remove the announcements in the room.
4/6 Line Rifles are best for the DPS boss
All Last Wish raid bosses are similar in that they are sensitive to precision damage. In Season 17 and most likely beyond, players will be able to use line rifles like the Cataclysmic and Stormchaser to deal massive damage to Callie, Shuro-Chi, and Morgeth. This strategy also works for Riven, but can be harder to execute due to Riven’s massive health pool. If players don’t have Cataclysmic, they can also use snipers like Izanagi’s Burden. Reed’s Regret is a decent line rifle choice that can work as long as players have the Line of Fire perk. Fireteams having trouble with damage can increase their DPS by equipping a secondary weapon with the Vorpal Weapon perk, or by using the Crossbow if they have an available Exotic slot. Even with its nerfs, it remains a worthy mate to a legendary heavy weapon.
3/6 Use simple summons in the vault encounter
The vault encounter in the Last Wish raid is a true test of teamwork for any fireteam. Players will again have to face the time limit while simultaneously transferring symbols and figuring out which type of energy, Antumbra or Penumbra, to clear their plate. At the same time, they will have to fight advertising and prevent the knights from plunging their swords into these plates. Important spells for this encounter are Antumbra and Penumbra. The use of these shortened calls will defuse communication in a hectic clash. Since both ANT and PEN must appear at least once, if one of them has already appeared twice, then players can simply assume that the last one will be the one who has not yet appeared. This is a good time saver.
- The middle named symbol is at on the right side = Antumbra = «ANT»
- The called middle symbol is on left side = Penumbra = «PEN».
Another way to lighten the mood is to make sure everyone agrees on the room designations. Behind each tablet is a room, and each has a name based on what is in the room: Staircase, Stone, and Tree. Players who mine Taken Essence can simply tell which side is open by looking at the names of the rooms.
2/6 The best way to defeat Riven is to make her cheese
Most players should be familiar with Riven cheese by now, but if they don’t, this is by far the best way to get past the final boss of Last Wish. Riven itself is a complex encounter with many moving parts, but the cheesy approach makes this encounter quick and effective for a team of any experience level. The only catch is that the team has to be ready to deal a ton of damage anyway. Start the meeting normally so that everyone goes to the same room with the crystals. Check the black window at the front of the room, and if players notice a moving shadow, then the «correct» Riven will appear here and they can damage her. If her shadow does not appear, players should return to the previous room and hug the black crystal wall until the «join allies» message appears on the screen. From here, go down the ramp located behind the tree to the right of the player, which will lead them to a circular room. At the back of the room, there is another drop down where Riven will appear with her eyes shot through, and players can deal damage to her. If she spawns in this lower room, players will have a much shorter damage phase, so it’s worth resetting her until she spawns in the first crystal room.
6/1 Drop Riven’s heart in easy spots for a smooth transition
In the Last Wish ending, players go hiking through Queenswalk carrying Riven’s heart. This is a direct and simple encounter that requires players to know the approximate direction of the path, as well as to communicate to each other how much time they have left in the «Fate’s Chosen» status. The best strategy for improving the quality of life here is that players should try to leave the Heart of Riven for the next player in a convenient location. This will make it easier to pass the heart to the next player. Be especially careful not to drop the heart while going down the last elevator for the last player, as he may not be able to catch it during the fall. It’s actually better to stand still for a few seconds in a comfortable spot and drop your heart there than to walk the maximum distance and potentially mess up the transition. Destiny 2 is available on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and Stadia.

Prepare properly.
Throughout the wipe you have to farm various resources — you can’t do without it, this is an integral part of the gameplay. Sooner or later, constant farming will get boring, because it takes a lot of time. If by this moment you have built a reliable base and acquired everything you need, then it is worth trying another way of extracting resources, namely, a raid of houses, which will be discussed.
Rust Beginner’s Guide — Surviving From Scratch in Rust
What is a raid?
The main goal of raids in Rust is to break into the loot room and take the loot of enemies. The raid should be well prepared. If you are a solo player, it is best to raid bases offline, that is, when the owner is not on the server. But if you have enough explosives and courage, then you can try an online raid, although there is a chance that you will lose everything. Online, the owner can kill you and build up the house, or start despawning resources, and it may turn out that when you get to the loot, there is nothing left there, so it’s better not to risk it and wait until the owner of the house goes to sleep.
There are many ways to raid, from yoki to c4. Below we will show the types of explosives, what you need to learn them and how to craft them. Due to its destructive power and explosion speed, many raiders prefer it. If you want to raid the base as quickly and efficiently as possible, then c4 is perfect for this. It is worth considering that C4 only deals damage to one building, it will not work to hit several buildings — in this case it is better to use missiles.

How are raids going?
First you need to choose a house for the raid. It may be a simple 2×2 house that is not particularly difficult, but most likely there will be nothing of value in such a house, so we advise you to pay attention to a few details:
- Player equipment. Sufficiently advanced players most often use weapons such as ak.47, Lr-300 and bolter, ordinary players cannot afford such a luxury, so this is a good indicator that there is good loot in the enemy’s house
- Large oven. If you find a house with a large furnace, then there is certainly something to profit from here, because large furnaces are needed to smelt a large amount of ore
- Quite often, copter can serve as an indicator of availability, since it is quite expensive, and mainly serves to transport farmed ore and loot an oil rig. Based on this, it can be understood that in such a house there is definitely a loot
After you have decided on the base, the preparation phase begins. First you need to carefully examine the house: perhaps in some places there will be irregular walls that can be hollowed out with picks or spears, or an unfortified wall. Sometimes players forget to improve the wall or they simply do not have enough resources. Also do not forget to calculate the required amount of explosives that you will need, below we will attach an image with the calculation of the amount of explosives for any surface.

Then start building a raid tent. It is best to make a raid wagon in two floors: one floor for storing loot, and the second for a shooting room. Before the exit, you need to put a turret so that you are not guarded by two-armers. To do this is quite simple: you will need a generator, which can be bought in the NPC city, and a wire. It would not hurt to take weapons, heals and clothes to the raid wagon.
This is everything you need to know about how to raid Rust.
