Stranger Things Return on Dead by Daylight with Vecna: Rainbow Room and Eleven Room Leaked on the New Map — LeaksByDaylight

Stranger Things has become the most talked about license by fans of Dead by Daylight, and for quite right reasons.
The collaboration between Netflix and Behaviour Interactive in 2019 caused a sensation, especially because it was the first collaboration with Netflix and so with a TV series, which is one of the most popular at the time. Not only that, because the collaboration with Stranger Things made happen in Dead by Daylight also a second novelty: it was in fact the first chapter to have two survivors, instead of one, this led to a higher cost of DLC.
The presentation of the collaboration was also made in new ways by Behaviour Interactive, with a live stream on Twitch called ‘¿?‘ that already implied enough what would be presented (with the question points put in that way to imply the upside down of Stranger Things), and with the livestream that after the countdown started presenting the trailer directly, with the characters and the release date.
And all this was accompanied in the previous months by rumors and speculations that already anticipated the imminent collaboration, with also a video made by me published three months before the reveal of the collaboration containing these rumors + the intro of stranger things modified in honor of the upcoming collaboration with Dead by Daylight:
And when it was announced the community was delighted, in fact, as mentioned before, came three new characters instead of two, and the map was full of details and easter eggs taken from the seasons of the TV series that drove fans crazy:
As you well know, however, last year this collaboration was suddenly closed, it is in fact currently impossible to buy the chapter, or play the map:
All this was greeted with regret by fans who through the socials have tried to make it clear to the two companies that in reality would like the return of Stranger Things within Dead by Daylight, especially because thanks to the last season of the TV series, it also opened up new possibilities for new killers to be brought into the game, such as Vecna, in addition to Demogorgon, or new survivors like Eddie and Robin.
And all this actually seems to happen behind the scenes, because of a leak a few months ago that showed the new Stranger Things map that will come back with the old characters that were already present within the game, like Steve, Nancy, and the Demogorgon, but also a new chapter based on Vecna:
And about those leaks there are news, in fact inside the new map there will be the ‘Eleven Room’, and there will also be the ‘Rainbow Room‘ that we see within the last season of the TV series:
This was discovered thanks to the names with which the different new rooms of the new map were called, namely ‘Rainbow Room‘ and ‘Eleven Room‘.
As for the release of the new chapter of Stranger Things, the previous leaks spoke of Christmas 2022 as the release period, but probably not so because at the moment there has been no communication from the two companies, even if everything is still possible.

Dead By Daylight Leaker Claims Stranger Things Chapter With Vecna Is Coming

It seems a second Stranger Things chapter may be on the way to Dead By Daylight, potentially featuring the antagonist of Season Four.
Combining multiple characters and monsters from horror movies, TV shows, and even anime, Dead by Daylight is the game to play for someone who wants to see Bill Overbeck from Left 4 Dead get hunted by Freddy Krueger.
From Attack on Titan skins to a new Resident Evil Chapter, the horror survival game has a lot of crossovers, allowing players to essentially create their own horror multiverse. One of the most successful and interesting chapters to release for Dead by Daylight tied the game to Stranger Things.
Initially launching in 2019, the Stranger Things Dead by Daylight chapter introduced Nancy Wheeler and Steve Harrington as survivors, with Jonathan Byers joining the DLC through a skin in 2021. Hawkins National Laboratory, the place where Eleven was tutored, also featured as a new map showing off the underground complex of the building. This DLC was received positively by both fans of Stranger Things and Dead by Daylight. Now, the hit show may be returning to Dead by Daylight through a new chapter.

DBDLeaks on Twitter has claimed Netflix has contacted Dead by Daylight developer Behavior Interactive about a possible new collaboration following the release of Stranger Things Season 4.
Already, the show’s fourth season has proven to be incredibly popular on Netflix, so a video game collaboration could profit from that success. Fans have been wondering for a while about what a second Stranger Things chapter could look like, and it seems that the fourth season’s major villain could be included in this new DLC drop.
Again according to DBDLeaks on Twitter, Vecna will be a part of the new Stranger Things content coming to Dead by Daylight. Vecna is the latest creature from the Upside Down to cause havoc in Hawkins, and has proven to be one of the most terrifying villains of the show so far. It is highly likely that Vecna would be a killer in Dead by Daylight, but he wouldn’t be joining the game alone, as the old DLC would also be making a return. In 2021, the Stranger Things Dead by Daylight content was discontinued, but according to leaks, it could be making a comeback.
This would give fans access to Steve Harrington, Nancy Wheeler, and Jonathan Byers once again.
However, according to DBDLeaks, the Stranger Things content won’t be returning until Christmas this year, meaning fans won’t be able to play as their favorite characters in time for the release of Stranger Things Season Four Volume 2, which drops later this week.
Dead By Daylight is currently available on Mobile, PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.

What helps a lot in changing the Dead by Daylight experience is the number of characters featured in the game, the huge variety of survivors and killers.
Some of them are familiar stereotypes from horror stories like clowns, demons, witches and other classics, but some come straight from horror slasher movies and survival horror games.
Each character, both killer and survivor, has unique abilities that set them apart and simplify the dynamics of each game. There are killers who turn invisible, set traps, throw axes, and on the side of the survivors, there are those who run faster for a limited period of time, those who can heal without using items, and those who can perform actions faster. nine0005
It is also worth remembering that the game has characters from other franchises that appear as DLC for the game, such as Michael Myers (not the actor who played Austin Powers) and Laurie Strode from the Halloween movie, Freddy Krueger and Quentin Smith from the movie Halloween. At the end of each game you play, you will gain experience points that may vary depending on your performance. You use this experience to level up an individual character so that they can gain new abilities and become more versatile. When your character reaches the maximum level, you can continue to increase your abilities or reset your abilities. This returns the character to level 1, but in this new reset, their abilities will be stronger as they recover. If you ever want to get a level 1 survivor again, it’s up to you.
Since the killers literally have powers, the survivors need something to help them if needed. Especially when it’s low level (both experience and skills) and there are items for that that you can buy in Bloodweb or find in chests on the map and each item has a specific skill. Skill rating for leveling up the game
At the end of the match, the number of ratings received will be placed in the player rating for both the killer rank and the survivor rank. If the Player has exhausted their slots, they will be qualified and their ranks will be reset to Level 1. If the Player completes the game without getting a mark, they will lose one mark from their Rank.
But if they lose enough grades, they will be demoted and lose rank until they reach rank 15. Disqualification below rank 15 is no longer possible. Players from rank 20 to 16 cannot be downgraded, they will receive ratings or keep their current rank until they reach rank 15. As the player gains a rank, the number of ratings to reach the next rank will increase. At rank 1, grades no longer accumulate. The scoring system initially encourages players to create exciting gaming experiences by rewarding them for risky play. Survivors who participate in a long chase to escape the killer will receive more points for their courage, and you can accumulate points by rescuing other survivors who have been captured but not yet sacrificed.
As an assassin, you are rewarded for killing more survivors, although one victim counts as a victory. Inevitably, however, this scoring system leads to activities that break immersion, such as using the killer’s slow movement to overcome obstacles as the survivors earn huge points by taunting their hunter. This rating is important for matches where you play with strangers or look for random matches throughout the game, so there are no survivors and killers, neither too strong nor too weak, which can lead to unfair play. For the case of a private match with friends, this rating does not matter much.

A Complicated Past
When Dead by Daylight was first released in 2016, the one-on-four multiplayer was failing in many ways, but it’s since become wildly successful. Behavior Interactive has taken their game, embraced the criticisms (mostly related to stability), and worked hard to make it what millions are now playing.
Games hosted by players (peer-to-peer) often do not work. The company wants to save money (or doesn’t have the resources) to provide a server and this caused a few problems — especially when you encountered killers on the other side of the world when the internet speed was much faster than we have in our country — and now they work great thanks to dedicated servers. nine0005
The player population has also increased due to cross-platform play. Whereas previously you had to randomly line up to try and join a game with friends, Dead by Daylight now allows group match combos by default.
However, the game is very controversial and highlights the brands inherent in a game like Dead by Daylight. Anyone who watches the game is supposed to be an unbalanced game, a tense showdown between a lone killer and four cunning survivors when both sides know one thing is true — the killer will almost certainly catch his prey. Dead by Daylight capitalizes on this dynamic by rewarding these actions through a scoring system. Assassins who wipe out all survivors on their first encounter will of course walk away with more points. But those who play and perform various actions, such as capturing multiple survivors at once, chasing them around the map, knocking someone down to hook them and then leaving (allowing them to be rescued), will find themselves able to accumulate even higher points. Other than some nonsensical gestures, survivors can’t communicate in the game, meaning you can’t even warn your friends by creating a «quiet place» mood. Once the survivors are able to communicate (via external voice chat programs like Discord), the killer’s ability to divide and conquer becomes significantly more complex and can negate much of the atmosphere the game is built on.
However, Dead by Daylight has managed to survive for so long over the years because it cleverly tends to be asymmetrical. The more time you spend with dozens of different killers, survivors, and maps, the more you get the feeling that it shouldn’t be balanced. Instead, with the presence of several types of killers, all with a wide variety of playstyles and control methods, the game of 2021 will simply be fun to play. Where you are faced with your nightmare and must fight to survive, or where you are the reaper of life who must create havoc.
