Die Evolution von Call of Duty — Alle Spiele von 2003 bis 2018 im Video
Mit Call of Duty Black Ops 4 erschien am 12. Oktober 2018 der fünfzehnte Teil der Call of Duty-Serie. Im Video widmen wir uns der gesamten Reihe und zeigen alle Call of Duty-Titel chronologisch nach Erscheinungsdatum.
Das Video gibt es auch in 4K UHD bei Candyland auf YouTube.
Das erste Call of Duty spielt im zweiten Weltkrieg. Es wurde von Infinity Ward entwickelt und erschien im Oktober 2003. Mit dem Erscheinen des zweiten Teils im Jahr 2005 wurde jedes Jahr ein neuer Teil der Serie veröffentlicht. Von Weltkriegsszenarien (wie etwa World at War oder WW2) über moderne Kriegsschauplätze (Modern Warfare-Reihe) bis hin zu futuristischen Settings (Advanced Warfare, oder großteils auch die Black Ops-Reihe) war alles dabei.

Das Team von Candyland hat dabei fast alle Haupttitel selbst installiert und gespielt, Ausnahmen wurden im Video kenntlich gemacht – diese betreffen hauptsächlich Konsolenableger und Ausflüge auf’s Handy.

Stellung und Multi-Team
Bei den Spielmodi ist Black Ops 2 größtenteils traditionell. Wir kennen die meisten Varianten aus früheren Call of Duty-Teilen: Team-Deathmatch, Capture the Flag, Herrschaft, Sprengkommando und so weiter. Und unter dem Reiter »Party-Spiele« hat Treyarch die Modi zusammengefasst, die wir aus dem ersten Black Ops noch als Wettspiele kannten, um mehr CoD-Dollar zu verdienen. Wir müssen also nicht ohne »Eine im Lauf« oder »Stock und Stein« auskommen.

Boxenstopp zu Black Ops 2
Der einzige neue und dann auch wieder gar nicht so neue Modus nennt sich Stellung. Das ist im Kern eine Mischung aus Herrschaft und Hauptquartier: Das Spiel weist nacheinander Bereiche auf der Karte aus, die die Teams erobern und von Gegnern frei halten müssen. Dafür hagelt’s Punkte. Nach Ablauf einer überschaubaren Zeit geht’s weiter zum nächsten Bereich.
Mit der entsprechenden Punkteserie dürfen wir uns Hilfe an die Seite holen, wie etwa dieses Geschütz.
Und dazu gibt’s jetzt noch die Multi-Teamspiele, in denen drei Mannschaften à drei Spieler in bekannten Modi gegeneinander antreten. Macht genau so viel Spaß wie der Rest der Spielvarianten auch. Wobei — gerade die Deathmatch-Varianten kranken noch immer an dem gleichen alten Problem der Serie. Die Spawnpunkte können einen an den Rand der Verzweiflung treiben. Wie oft wir schon fast schon in der Knarre eines Gegners wieder in eine Partie eingestiegen sind! Oder wie oft uns das Spiel einen Rivalen direkt in unserem Rücken wieder hat einsteigen lassen! Unzählbar! Es mag unglaublich klingen, aber das löst der Mehrspieler von Medal of Honor: Warfighter deutlich besser.
Verwirrung, auch auf den Ohren
Ein weiterer Punkt, der uns an Black Ops 2 nicht hundertprozentig schmeckt: das Mapdesign. Treyarchs neuste Vision von einem fetzigen Mehrspieler findet fast nur noch auf kleinteilig verwinkelten und somit über viele Partien hinweg auf anfänglich verwirrenden Karten statt.
Die schönen und klaren Mischungen aus offenen Arealen und gut platzierten Gebäuden, wie wir sie aus dem ersten Black Ops kennen, fehlen. An ein Array, Grid, WMD oder Hanoi kommt keine der neuen Karten heran. Und wer gerne die Scharfschützenknarre auspackt, findet in Black Ops 2 nur ganz wenige brauchbare Positionen.
Genau wie schon in Black Ops können wir uns auch in Black Ops 2 unsere Partien im Kino als Replays aus jeder x-beliebigen Perspektive anschauen, daran rumschneiden und so coole Filmchen erstellen.
Das neue Cod-Casting ist auf Spiel-Analyse ausgelegt. Man kann sich Partien aus jeder beliebigen Perspektive anschauen, sogar über eine Minimap.
Die vielen Winkel, Ecken und schmalen Passagen, aus denen die Karten von Black Ops 2 zusammen gebaut sind, erfordern umso mehr, dass man sich über die Ohren orientieren kann. Höre ich da Schritte? Nähert sich ein Feind? Wenn ja, von wo? Die Fragen lässt Black Ops 2 größtenteils unbeantwortet, denn eine Ortung von Feinden über den Sound ist nach unseren Erfahrungen fast unmöglich.
Irgendwas scheint mit der Abmischung schief gelaufen zu sein, Schritte oder Nachladegeräusche sind im Vergleich zu den anderen Serienteilen viel zu leise geraten.
Black Ops 2 bleibt in Sachen Multiplayer trotz des traditionell hohen Spieltempos und der sinnvollen Neuerungen etwas hinter unseren Erwartungen: fehlender Serverbrowser, teils zu verwinkeltes Mapdesign, die schlaffe Soundabmischung ohne echte Ortungschance und die mittlerweile altbackende Optik verwehren höhere Wertungsweihen.
Im neuen Modus »Stellung« markieren weiße Pfeile das einzunehmende Gebiet.
Nichtsdestotrotz zieht die Suchtspirale wieder an. In keiner anderen neueren Shooter-Serie findet man derart flotte sowie spannende Gefechte kombiniert mit einem solch motivierenden Freischaltsystem. Bis wir unsere perfekten Soldaten zusammengestellt haben, werden noch zig Partien zu spielen sein. Dann fehlen nur noch die richtigen Maps, aber da kommt ja hoffentlich noch was, wenn auch nur wieder gegen Extra-Kohle.
Nun ja, wenn die Maps stimmen, geht der Spaß so richtig los.
Vier gegen Zombies
Im Paket von Black Ops 2 steckt auch noch ein umfangreicher Vierer-Koop-Modus, in dem man gegen Zombie-Wellen antritt. Ziel: so lange wie möglich zu überleben. Das kennt man so ähnlich schon aus dem Vorgänger, ist aber in Black Ops 2 noch um einiges umfangreicher geraten. Und außerdem gibt’s einen Bus. Zumindest in der so genannten »Tranzit«-Variante. Hier starten wir an einer Busstation, erledigen dort die ersten Untoten-Wellen, sammeln die ersten besseren Waffen ein und steigen schließlich in einen Bus, der unsere unerschrockene Viererbande zum nächsten Hauptschauplatz bringt.

Dort warten dann noch bessere Waffen und Gadgets — und noch mehr Zombies. Oder auch mal Flammen, die aus Erdspalten nach den Spielern züngeln. Kurz: Die Zombiehatz wird nach und nach immer schwieriger und ist auf gut zusammen arbeitende Teams ausgelegt.
Letzteres ist noch wichtiger im »Grief-Modus«, in dem zwei Gruppen gleichzeitig auf einer Karte gegen die modernden Horden antreten. Gewonnen hat die Mannschaft, die überlebt.
Wer keine Lust auf Koop hat, kann sich auch alleine den Untoten stellen, aber der eigentliche Reiz des Spiels liegt weniger im Zombie-Schnetzeln, als vielmehr im panischen Gekreische, im gemeinsamen Gelächter, Gefluche und Siegesgeheul von vier tapferen Spielern. Darum unsere Empfehlung: unbedingt mit Freunden angehen!

History
2007 — 2009: creation of Gameblog
In the 1990s, journalists worked for magazines such as Joystick , Joypad , PlayStation Magazine or DVD Magazine , then owned by Disney Hachette Presse, a subsidiary of the Hachette Filipacchi Médias group. In 2003, these titles were bought by the British group Future plc, prompting many editors to take advantage of the conscience clause for reasons related to differences of opinion on the editorial line of said journals.
Gregory Shriftgizer and Nurdin Nini subsequently created the Gaming magazine published by Neo Publishing, while the other founding members of Gameblog continued to work for their respective magazines after the change of ownership or for other magazines owned by the same group, such as Consoles + .
On February 20, 2007, Gameblog was officially launched online.
2009 — 2013: Entering the capital of Ankama and launching Gameblog TV
In 2009, Ankama acquired an equity stake and became a minority shareholder in Gameblog.
Created by Bouyaka, Gameblog runs a video game TV program airing on MCM and then on Direct Star from 2009 to 2011.
In 2013, Gregory Fontgizer (RaHaN) stepped down to join Ubisoft Montreal. In August 2013, Gameblog broke its historical audience record, ranking third among French video game sites according to Alexa France.
2014: entry into the capital of e-Borealis
At , the editorial board announces an equity stake in e-Borealis, the company takes the place of Ankama by buying back its shares and shares of several shareholders to reach 70% of the capital of Gameblog SAS, the other shareholders are Julien Chiez, Julien Hubert (Julot) and Noordin Nini (Trazom).
In 2015, Gameblog ranks 2nd among French video game news websites. In May 2015, the team consisted of 18 people.

Julien Chiez: mixing genres and war with Gamekult
In 2011, Julien Chiez made a radio show guest to talk about the title Deus Ex: Human Revolution , the same day at the game’s official launch for a fee from the publisher. This highlights the often thin line that defines the various players in video game media.
In 2015, the site Arrêt sur images noticed a «mixture of genres» after inquiring about this issue. Lacking a press card, Julien Chiez at the time was not subject to Article L. 7111-6 of the Labor Code, which establishes an incompatibility between advertising agents and the journalistic profession.
In March 2015, Julien Chiez counterattacked and caused controversy by posting a photograph of several video game editors, including the editor of Gamekult, having lunch together during a trip to Japan.
The Sony-paid set revives the debate about the independence of video game editorials, in particular questioned in 2012 after the release of Doritos Gate. The editor will then deal with the Gamekult website on a regular basis.

Other controversies
In 2012, Gameblog posted a screenshot from the Amazon France website announcing the release of Call of Duty: Black Ops II . Activision, the game’s publisher, is unwilling to release the information and sends a request to Gameblog to remove the information from the site, which Gameblog refuses. In this case, Activision would decide to blacklist all of its upcoming Gameblog events, no more games sent to them, and no more ads on the site. However, this claim is denied by Activision.
In 2014, Gameblog aired a test of Watch Dogs, in violation of the NDA of Ubisoft, the game’s publisher.
Ubisoft, not wanting to release tests before the game was released, would then decide to blacklist Gameblog all of its events when it comes up, don’t send them any more games, and don’t advertise on the site anymore. However, this information is denied by Ubisoft.
In , Gameblog caused a bit of controversy when they kicked a user from their site who advertised plugin Adblock . This decision followed a dispute between website publishers and ad blockers.
