THE FULL Star Wars Battlefront 2 release date is almost here, with the launch times confirmed for those on PS4 and Xbox One who didn’t buy a special version of the game.

While the Star Wars Battlefront 2 release has come in several stages, with the final one kicking off in less than an hour.
While fans who pre-ordered special versions of the game were given access earlier this week, everyone else will soon get to start playing.
EA have confirmed that Star Wars Battlefront 2 servers will be available to everyone at midnight, on November 17.
There isn’t a planned rolling launch, instead everyone should be able to start playing straight away.
Like with all global release times, there’s the chance of Battlefront 2 server issues when the game starts to open up to everyone.
However, EA Should have had enough times to stress-test, what with a chunk of players getting early access.
However, while the Star Wars Battlefront 2 release nears, the DLC controversy continues to rumble on, as EA makes a big change to in-game prices.
Star Wars Battlefront 2 won’t have a season pass, but players will need to spend in-game credits to unlock new characters.
Star Wars Battlefront 2 characters were originally meant to cost 60,000 in-game credits, which would have taken an estimated 40 hours of playtime to earn.
EA responded to the controversy on Reddit, telling fans that it wanted to provide players with a sense of accomplishment.
It was one of the most downvoted comments of all time, while one EA game developer even claims to have received death threats (via CNBC).
EA and developer DICE have since reviewed the pricing and made changes ahead of launch.

The cost to unlock hero characters has been reduced by 75%, meaning that the likes of Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader will now only cost 15,000 in-game credits.
EA say they will continue to fine-tune the game when it comes to fan feedback, which sounds like they’ll be getting a lot of in the days to come.
It should also be noted that Star Wars Battlefront 2 is out now on EA Access ahead of its full November 17 release date.
EA Access subscribers on Xbox One and PC can play ten hours of the game ahead of launch. This includes online multiplayer and three campaign missions.
