Obtaining
Metal is mined from many types of rocks. It is possible to obtain it from normal rocks, but these rocks have a very low yield of metal. Certain rocks hold substantially larger amounts of metal. These metal rocks usually look smoother and more golden than usual rocks. Generally, metal rock density is higher in areas that are dangerous or hard to reach, such as mountain tops, caves, rivers, coves and deep water sources.
In Aberration the golden colored metal rocks can be found, but blue veined black rocks (found in the Luminous Region) also yield large amounts of metal.
The rocks are mined with either a pickaxe, preferably a Metal Pick as it yields a lot more metal per rock, a mining drill, or the most efficient way, with an Ankylosaurus with its Melee Damage boosted, which also makes carrying the mined ore easier. The general mechanics for resource harvesting are presented in Renewable resources. Standard metal rocks take ~1 hour to respawn after being mined.
Crafting
Metal is smelted using a Refining Forge, Magmasaur, Phoenix, or Industrial Forge into Metal Ingot, which are an essential crafting ingredient. Two pieces of Metal Ore are needed to make one Metal Ingot, taking 20 seconds in the Refining Forge and 1 second in the Industrial Forge.
Metal is also needed to craft the following items:

Gathering
Metal can be gathered most efficiently using an Ankylosaurus, which also offers a 85% weight reduction of metal when in its inventory, or by using a metal pick.
When at mastercraft or ascendant tier, the metal pick is reported to gather just as much metal per metal spawn as the Ankylosaurus.

Strategy
- If you have another player with you, they can pick you and your Ankylosaurus up using a Quetzal or Argentavis. They simply then fly you next to metal rocks on a mountain, and you can harvest them without even touching the ground. This strategy allows for higher mobility and higher carry weight since a Quetzal can carry much more than an Ankylosaurus.
- Carrying the opposite gender Ankylosaurus provides a mate boost to the one you’re gathering metal with, providing a 33% bonus in damage, and thus increasing the yield of metal. This other Ankylosaurus can be a low level so if it somehow clips and falls, you will not have to worry about losing it.

- The Frozen Tooth at 35 latitude and 55 longitude has extremely high quantities of metal rocks at and around the summit.
However caution is advised while attempting to descend the mountain, as it is extremely steep and quite easy to fall. - Low level characters can go to a small mountain in the Southern Islets at around 76 latitude and 44 longitude which has a decent number of metal bearing rocks (100+ units with a metal pick) at its summit, along with a small supply of crystal. The eastern side of the mountain is easy to climb and scattered with more metal bearing rocks, and the area itself is fairly benign, hosting mostly low level herbivores with the occasional Raptor or Carno.
- Small mineable piles of stone and the small round boulders around rivers and beach shores tend to yield more metal than regular stone nodes. This is much more so if using a metal pickaxe, and can be a great source of metal in a pinch for low-level survivors.

There have been satanic sites on the net for a long time. It is understandable, because if the “church of Satan” is registered in the “democratic” USA and a monument to Satan is erected, then why not sites?
The link seems out of place here, but, in particular, one of them gives, so to speak, practical recommendations for beginners, moreover, musical recommendations, what to listen to and what clip to watch.
So, the first on the list to watch was by no means some downhole heavy metal or something like that, but a clip of the most pop singer Mylene Farmer called “Je te rends ton amour” (“I return you your love»). Thus, this lady has plugged all the metalheads put together into the belt.
We will talk about, so to speak, the work of this singer, and we will start, as it should be, from the beginning, from her first album «Cendres de lune» in 1986, from a song called «Old Goat» («Vieux Bouc») .
This song is dedicated to the witches’ sabbath, where the goat symbolizes Satan. Farmer addresses him and takes part in various ceremonies, including «baptisms». The children’s choir sings, the bleating of the goat and the laughter of the performer herself are heard, and the dialogue completes everything, where the question “Do you love the devil, my dear?” Farmer replies, «Yes, I love him!»
Subsequently, in an interview regarding this, Mylene Farmer said that sometimes a fire flares up in her veins and it seems to her that she herself is the devil.

Finally, let’s move on to the most important thing, namely the truly “programmatic” composition “Je te rends ton amour” and the video for it, because Farmer herself, when asked what she would take with her to a desert island, answered that she took this particular song.
The singer again wrote the text herself, and spoke very remarkably about the content: she knows exactly what this song is about, but this does not oblige her to make any comments, the song may be about love, but “maybe” about the rejection of God . Like this. «May be».
We will try to figure it out, especially since there is nothing special to understand here, everything is quite clear and understandable.
In order not to reinvent the wheel, let’s turn to an article already available on the Internet about this clip. The author of the article is engaged in frank demagogy, which we will not dwell on, but even he is forced to admit that the version with the rejection of God is the most clear and convincing, and it is to this that the most attention is paid.

And immediately, in the first seconds, we are shown a close-up of a pedestal depicting a demon’s face. The demon materializes into a man in black, whose back is shown immediately. He is chasing the girl, who is walking with uneven steps towards the church. His terrible hand is rummaging through the trees and bushes along the road to the church.
Mylene, as never before, shows a lot of red in the clip — this is the dress, this is the curtain of the confessional, this is also a large amount of blood itself. Mylene loves red and blood. So what role does blood play here? With blood, she gives life and love, sins and suffering.
The hand of Mylene is shown on the bark of the tree, immediately, the hand of the devil appears in the same place.
This sign is not in vain. As you know, rituals in Satanism are performed with the left hand, which we will see later (immersion of the left hand in a bowl with holy water and the blood of a man and a ring on Mylene’s left hand). In «dark» deeds, it is the left hand that creates.

But the structure of the clip is built on all the intricacies of the rites in the Catholic Church, only perverted into a black mass. Scary. Really scary.
Blind Mylene begins repentance with the words “I return your love”, and during these words Jesus is shown. That is, it is clear that she returns His love, renounces faith in Him. And Jesus loves us all! So it is written in scripture. Loves everyone! But Mylene decided to turn away from this love and give herself to another god.
A glimpse of an angel is shown, as if saying, «What are you doing?» The girl puts a bible for the blind, on her ring as a symbol of renunciation of faith.
So why does Mylene renounce God? How could he hurt her? Maybe she did not believe because of her unearthly suffering, severe pain? Because of «not seeing» the light of the sun? ..
Milen hopes to get this (sight) from other forces, but only two things need to be done — to renounce Jesus and sign an agreement with the dark forces, and then .

Let’s start with the basics. In order to create structures and devices from the mod, you will need to create an S + CRAFTING STATION table. Learned at level 1, crafted from primitive materials (30 wood, 50 stone, 20 leather, 5 metal ingots), placed on the foundation.
This will be the first and main structure of the mod.
Start with the basics
At the very beginning you don’t need anything but a basic hut with a foundation, four walls, a ceiling and a door. Once you’ve built your base, you’ll need to create a lot of basic items that are used to build other, more complex programs.
The starting base should have the following essentials:

- Cooking pot;
- Preservation container;
- Storage box;
- Forge.
Upgrade as much as possible
As you progress through the game, you will gain access to a wide range of building materials that can be used to upgrade your base.
The types of resources you can use are:
Metal is obviously a target, as it can withstand anything but explosives, but it will take time to reach that target. You can start by adding the next strongest material to your base first, and then go back to replacing the weaker parts.
Fortify with pillars
One way to keep your base safe from survivors is to fortify rooms with pillars. Some even create a tiered ceiling with columns in between to make their base more solid and harder to penetrate.
The idea is to force the enemy to make every effort to infiltrate your base, and the correct use of columns can make this a real test for him.
Make Watchtowers
When you decide to start upgrading and expanding, one survival tip is that you might want to consider adding watchtowers to your project. This will add a kind of sniper tower with which you can rid your base of attackers before they penetrate the walls. It will also make you look like a more formidable opponent.

So, let’s say you managed to get through the fence and your pen allows you to leave tamed dinosaurs in it without the risk (almost) of being eaten. In fact, there is always a risk, even if you build a closed metal hangar. The game is still at the alpha stage, and wild dinos can bite your dinosaurs through the walls, although the developers wrote that these bugs have been fixed. Maybe it is, but it’s better to be prepared for anything.
Where, or rather, where to start?
Almost all dinosaurs in the game can be tamed by the player. Why almost? There are some completely wild, not amenable to training and domestication (I don’t know if there is such a word or not), but I don’t think that anyone would like to tame a spider or a snake.
Although, of course, there are lovers of the exotic, but alas, it will not work.
To fully use a tamed creature, you must have a saddle for it. Saddles are not universal, each animal has its own saddle.
At level 20, we have saddles for the Trike, Raptor, Parasaurus, Phiomia, Ichthyosaurus and Pacha.
In my opinion, from the entire list, 2 candidates are worthy of attention: Trike and Raptor. Whom to choose is up to you, but it is better to tame both.
To tame Trike (let’s start with him, because it’s more practical and safer for the first time), we need to stun him. For this fit slingshot (Slingshot) and a bunch of stones as ammunition for it. Or you can beat it with your fists, though this is already extreme, because the trike butts not weakly, while throwing it back, you can fly off a cliff, with a fatal outcome.
As soon as the Trike falls on its side, you will have access to its inventory, in which, for taming, you need to put berries (yellow, blue, red, purple, by the way, the latter are preferable), he will feed himself with them, if necessary, thereby filling taming lane.
In total, there are 2 bars on the tooltip (pop-up window with indicators) of a stunned dinosaur: Purple — the level of drug intoxication / stun, Yellow (or orange) — the progress of taming. Purple drops over time, as soon as it ends — your dinosaur will wake up and create problems for you. To prevent this from happening until the end of taming, it is worth putting black berries (Narcoberries) in his inventory and periodically pressing the «Remote use item» button in the dinosaur’s internal interface (in his inventory) to maintain the purple stripe.
How long it takes to tame depends on the level of your chosen dinosaur. The higher the level, the more time to sit with him, but as a reward you will receive a dinosaur with good initial characteristics, which will give him more efficiency and survivability. Think for yourself, sit one time and tame a good dino, or come the next day and find that your dinosaur could not protect itself from intruders (wild dinosaurs), it was eaten, and you have to go tame a new one.
Raptor is tamed with meat. And it also requires force-feeding drug berries or drugs if you already have one.
The trike, when saddled, will help you pick berries much faster than you can do it with your hands. Raptor is a predator (surprise!), it will already help you farm meat. Why do we need to FARM meat? They got it for food and that’s enough, but it’s not.
If you are not yet very confident in yourself and your fighting qualities or just prefer «home leveling» of the level, then there are two options: construction and cooking drugs (!), yes, this word is present in the game, you can’t throw words out of a song, I hope this advice does not compromise me 🙂
This wall-building tactic won’t hurt anything in the old base structure. The base will only be damaged if the new wall is destroyed by enemies. In addition, when the old wall is destroyed, you will get back the resources that you spent on its construction, although not in full. But even that is pretty good.
Hearth
The interior of a house is a primary task that you should be familiar with before starting construction. It’s no secret that wardrobes, beds, and the rest of your home need space, which can easily be missed due to poor layout.
First hang torches for light and warmth to make a cozy and warm place out of the empty walls. At first, the stairs are closed, so immediately decide where you will put it to climb to the second floor. The largest cabinets will not fit in a standard-sized room in height, so it is better to put them on the second floor, where the roof can be made higher, or removed altogether.
Defense, by the way, will have to be carried out in the same way from the second floor, so do not forget to highlight windows or holes on the second floor, from where you can stick out in the future.
The foundation for the upper floor is a regular flat roof (Timber Roof). Having placed it, simply surround the perimeter with walls and close it with another roof — voila, the two-story house is ready.
A list of basic things to put at home: a sleeping bag or a bed, a mortar and pestle to practice alchemy, a fire and a cauldron for cooking, at least one chest or cupboard to store items, a container for storing water, a smelting furnace and workshop to create tools, armor and weapons.
Base perimeter defense
Outside the main house is the more difficult part of a large-scale build. All of these buildings are vulnerable to enemy attacks if you don’t have good walls, so the last ones are very important to put in a short time.
Set aside space for beds where food can be grown in the future. With a fence, no one can steal your seeds and sprouts, which again speaks in favor of the walls. Install a watering system for your garden beds so you don’t have to run for water every day and endanger yourself. A good plumbing will turn your base into a fortress that can resist sieges for a long time.
The only useless thing in base building that only aesthetes can appreciate.
If you wish, you can decorate your buildings so that they stand out and differ from others. To do this, you need to get three things: a waterskin, pots and a brush, and then mix the paints themselves. Here you just need to throw berries of a suitable color into the waterskin, and then proceed to painting.
Otherwise, you can put separate houses outside for a workshop, warehouse or just your comrades. However, the most expensive building is the dinosaur pen.
Dinosaurs can be tamed in ARK: Survival Evolved. In addition to being able to mount and use in combat, these majestic beasts are also able to guard your base and serve as a constant source of food. No, you should not kill dinosaurs — a flock of dodos will provide you with an influx of eggs, some of which you can take to your table, thereby controlling their population.
In terms of placing dinosaurs, there are two options: a separate paddock and the entire territory of the base itself.
In the first case, they will have their own territory inside your yard, but then during the attack you will have to spend time releasing them.
In the second case, you will have to keep them right in the middle of residential buildings in a territory fenced with a ring of walls, which will intimidate potential enemies, but will cause you a lot of inconvenience.
Keep in mind that huge zones will have to be allocated for such giants, otherwise they will take up all the space in your base.
In fact, there is no separate paddock as such. You need to build a simple wooden fence. It’s easy enough, but first place a Wooden Fence Foundation on the ground — the foundation for a wooden fence. After that, you can build the walls themselves.
Ark online
Ark Survival Evolved can be played as a single player or online. After starting the game, select the game over the network and select or create a server. Playing ark over the network takes place on servers.
