90,000 «tagged» accounts no longer see rare Pokémon!
Author Victor (admin) Read 3 min. Posted by

Niantic recently activated a new server-side security tool that primarily targets known bot accounts (previously “labeled” as such)
A new security measure targets accounts that are primarily used in the work of Pokemon trackers. Now These accounts will not see rare Pokémon on the Pokemon GO game scanner. Going forward, spoofers that use Pokémon cards for sniping will no longer be able to learn the whereabouts of rare Pokémon. Although this change does not completely stop spoofing, it will still reduce the number of people willing to «spoof» somewhat.
This is what this innovation looks like — both accounts are at the same coordinate point at the same time. The account on the left image “fell under the distribution”.
The developer confirmed that he made changes on the server side that are aimed at combating third-party applications and bots. According to players, accounts that are “hit” by the new security system cannot see the following Pokemon on the game radar (under the cut)
In addition, bots cannot spend coins in the Pokemon GO store.
If you use programs that require your account information in order to calculate the iv of a Pokémon, you can also “temporarily go blind”. In this case, it is recommended to stop using any third-party software and everything should return to normal in a week or two. Otherwise, you should write to the developer.
Pokémon that cheat accounts can see »
Pidgey, Rattata, Ekans, Sandshrew, Nidoran, Zubat, Oddish, Paras, Meowth, Psyduck, Poliwag, Bellsprout, Tentacool, Geodude, Magnemite, Krabby, Goldeen, Staryu, Magikarp, Sentret, Ledyba, Spinarak, Natu, Marill, Hoppip, Sunkern, Wooper, Murkrow, Snubbull, Slugma , Venonat, Mankey, Growlithe, Abra, Slowpoke, Gastly, Onix, Drowzee, Voltorb, Koffing, Chansey, Tangela, Horsea, Scyther, Lapras, Eevee, Porygon, Omanyte, Kabuto, Aerodactyl, Snorlax, Dratini, Hoothoot, Chinchou, Mareep , Sudowoodo, Aipom, Unown, Girafarig, Shuckle, Sneasel, Teddiursa, Remoraid, Stantler, Larvitar
Pokémon likely not to be seen by cheating accounts (inconsistent data) , Wobbuffet, Pineco, Dunsparce, Swinub, Mantine, Skarmory, Houndour, Phanpy, Hitmontop, Miltank,Ponyta, Rhyhorn
This fix so far only affects accounts that were previously marked as “suspicious”. dealt with the problem and registered new accounts, although one of the most famous trackers reports changes that Niantic made and warns of the possibility of not entirely accurate scanning.0007
While using third-party Pokemon cards violates the Pokemon GO app rules, 81% of trainers have nothing against trackers (according to a recent Pokemongohub poll) bots for the functioning of various services.

God of War, Pokemon Unite, Life is Strange: January in games for 2×2.media | Games and the future on 2×2
In the new year, we decided to tell you more about what we play (not in the form of reviews), because we play a lot. Especially considering the long holidays in January. Now every month the site will publish a selection of tips from the editors with indie, desktop, AAA, mobile and other games. In the first: God of War, Life is Strange: True Colors, Pokemon Unite mobile MOBA, Pirate Legends tabletop and a whole lot more.

Life is Strange: True Colors
This game was perfect for the vibe of the New Year holidays, when most of the time you wanted to look at the beautiful mountains, but at the same time lie on the couch. The main character Alex Chen is a wildly funny girl. She is quite sarcastic, but not on the level of “I watched House in the eighth grade and now I will treat everyone condescendingly.” According to the plot, you come to visit your brother in a small mining town. The atmosphere is as cozy as possible — there is even a local vinyl store where you can sit on an armchair and listen to Phoebe Bridgers. In fact, all that is required of you is to wander around, chat with local guys, sometimes make important (and not so) decisions. Walking through is like watching a pleasant teen series.
Lake
Okay, this is the second game in which you come to a small and quiet town according to the story. But listen to the concept! Here you do not just chat with the locals, but work as a postwoman. Here you can even look into the video cassette store and stick to cool posters. The main idea: you are given two weeks in this town to decide whether to stay here longer or return to the big city to build a career as a cool IT girl. As a result, we get something wildly meditative and terribly beautiful!

Legends of the Pirates
If you don’t like board games where only the rules take three weeks to read, you’re in the right place. «Legends of Pirates» is a strategy game where you can only guess the ending, but you can’t outplay your rivals. You explore underwater treasures, meticulously store everything on your island, which can be STEAL from you at any moment. And there is NOTHING you can do about it. So it remains only to chill, score on the result and enjoy the company.

Stubbs the Zombie in Rebel Without a Pulse
In March 2021, a remaster of this amazing satire on retro-futurism of the 60s was released. The protagonist is the zombie Edward «Stubbs» Stubblefield, miraculously resurrected in an advanced city, where he declares a personal vendetta against Mayor Andrew Munday. This is an absolutely amazing game that is well outdated. In it, you need to have fun smashing the city, driving a tank, capturing the minds of the inhabitants and, of course, having fun chewing on the heads of passers-by under their terrible cries of “Oh no, my brains!” The game is extremely perky, and this is a rare case when the player is given a look at the zombie apocalypse from the other side — also with good humor. My favorite is the mission where you have to dance the police sheriff.
God of War
Just in time for the PC release, I finally beat it on PS4. This is a reimagining of the franchise, where the godslayer Kratos becomes a father and sets off with his son on a journey through the worlds of the Great Tree of Yggdrasil to dispel the ashes of his deceased wife. The main pleasure I experienced was how the developers from Santa Monica Studio approached the interpretation of Norse mythology. As a big fan of hers, I watched with great pleasure how myths, gods and various creatures are presented here. More than once I caught myself on the fact that after the appearance of the next character in the game, I paused it and went to remember how the character was described in the Elder Edda.
The Order: 1886
Along with the console, I once got a game that I had never heard of before. This is the story of the Order of the Knights of the Round Table in an alternate year of 1886, where King Arthur’s knights have kept peace in Great Britain for hundreds of years, protecting the country from «half-breeds» — werewolves and vampires hiding among people. The protagonist under the title of Sir Galahad is investigating a conspiracy in which members of the Order are also involved. This is a game in the cover shooter genre, which is quite rare on consoles, and in which you have to constantly fight enemies using the environment. The genre of the game is often referred to as «Teslapunk», since many of the technologies here were created by a real-life scientist, Nikola Tesla, collaborating with the Order of the Round Table. The game is extremely intense, but short. It’s a pity that Ready at Dawn never released a sequel to the story.
Artyom Nechaev (editor):
Death’s Door
Hades has taken a pedestal among story-driven roguelike games, and it won’t be overthrown anytime soon. Therefore, the indie studio can only try to do something new — Death’s Door is just that case. You play as a raven who collects souls at the behest of a bureaucratic version of Death — the premise seems simple, but the plot picks up speed quickly. In terms of gameplay, everything is also great: Death’s Door is verified to the smallest detail in every animation, every enemy, every boss, every location, etc. Thanks to this, the game feels like a pleasant flow and does not let go for a second. And Death’s Door is a Complimentist’s dream, so if this is you, then don’t pass by.
Pokemon Unite
Pokemon decided to increase their expansion into the mobile market and released a game in the MOBA genre, which, you see, is great for a universe where everyone catches animals and fights with them. Pokemon Unite is the usual simplified MOBA with a sports flavor (battles in the stadium + you need to score goals). If you have been in the genre for a long time, you should not look for revelations here. But overall, this is a very nice and enjoyable game in a familiar format based on the famous franchise. Well, 10-minute matches are great for a quick distraction from something. Yes, inside everything is like in ordinary mobile phones (“go to four places and collect a dozen awards every day”), but this does not spoil the impression much.
