Pokémon Go has taken the world by storm, attracting new players and instilling a strong sense of nostalgia in others.
This is no small feat thanks to the title featuring the original set of Pokémon Red and Blue creatures that debuted back in 1998.
If you’re missing some of the older Pokémon games, don’t despair. In fact, it’s quite easy to play them on your Android phone or tablet. Here’s how.
What Pokemon games can I play on Android?
Nowadays, everything from original Game Boy games to Nintendo DS games can be emulated on Android. This includes:
- Game Boy (GB): red, blue and yellow
- Game Boy Color (GBC): gold, silver and
- Game Boy Advance (GBA): Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald; FireRed and LeafGreen
- Nintendo DS (NDS): diamond, pearl and platinum; HeartGold and SoulSilver Black and white; Black and white 2

How do you get old Pokemon game discs?
