Was bedeutet Typen-Effektivität?

Was bedeuten die Symbole?

Typeffektivität im Kampf — Pokémon GO Hilfecenter

12/13/2018 — Pokémon type performance has changed in Pokemon GO!

What is a “type of Pokémon” in Pokémon GO? Each Pokemon belongs to a specific type. What type of Pokémon it is depends on its weaknesses and strengths, i.e. the effectiveness of the Pokémon relative to other Pokémon. It also depends on where you can catch a Pokemon and what attacks it can have.

Choosing the right Pokémon for battle is a big deal. If you choose a Pokémon that your opponent has a weakness for, it will be much easier to defeat him. Our Pokemon efficiency table will help you with this.

It also matters if the Pokémon receives a STAB bonus when attacking.

What is the Stab-bonus in Pokemon ?

The Pokémon gains STAB Same Type Attack Bonus if it attacks an opponent with an attack that matches its type.

For example, if a “Ghost” type Pokémon attacks an opponent with a “Ghost” attack, then it deals increased damage compared to another type of Pokémon that attacks with a similar attack.

How does the STAB bonus work?

I’ll give you a simple example so you can understand how the STAB bonus works in Pokémon GO.

For example, Snorlax uses the «Lick» attack. It deals 20.00 DPS damage. (DPS — amount of damage per second)

If this attack is used by a ghostly Haunter, then it will already deal 25 DPS damage.

«Lick» is a «ghostly» attack, so Haunter gets a STAB bonus and deals 25% more damage.

Pokemon 9 STAB bonus and weaknesses0161

If a Pokémon attacks an enemy that has a weakness to its type, then the Pokémon deals 25% more damage or 1.25 50% more damage or 1.50

What is Pokémon GO and how does it work?

Pokémon GO is part of the Pokémon franchise, a popular augmented reality game that aims to enable players to use GPS location-based settings to catch and train Pokémon characters.
As you move, different types of Pokémon will appear depending on where you are and what time it is. The idea is to encourage you to travel around the real world to catch Pokémon.

What is the age rating?

  • The app is rated PEGI 7+ for mild violence against fantasy characters. Users can engage in gym battles with fantastic cartoon characters in which two of them send waves and elements to each other.
  • Rated 9+ in both Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
  • Galaxy rated «All Ages»

Why is Pokémon GO so popular?

It is free to download and is a great app for Pokémon fans to play together as it is based on the popular Pokémon series from the late 1990s. And because of this, the game is also popular among adult Pokémon fans as it evokes feelings of nostalgia. For kids, the game is popular for its interactive nature of augmented reality, which is a great way to get them moving instead of traditionally sitting in front of their devices.

Pokémon GO related problems with helpful tips

Alien danger

Using location-based (GPS) technology, the app actively encourages users to interact socially in the real world, which is great.

Tip:
Children may unknowingly come into contact with people who may be dangerous to them. With this in mind, it’s important to reassure kids that they should never meet strangers offline. And agree with them the boundaries of where they can go or what they should avoid.

Outdoor safety (e.g. road crossing, other people’s property)

Because the app requires you to focus on your phone to play the game, there is a possibility that players may be distracted while crossing the road or put themselves in danger, to catch Pokemon in different areas.

Tip:
Simply dimming the screen and using the vibration feature to alert players to the presence of other Pokémon will help keep them safe while playing on the go.

Another great tip for iPhone users is to have parents and kids use the same iCloud account. This will allow parents to use the iPhone app to find out where they are using GPS on their phones.

In-app purchases

Although the game is free to play, like many other games, it has in-app purchases for purchasing Pokécoins.

Tip:
To make sure you don’t get an unexpected bill at the end of the month, check your app’s permissions. See our parental controls for ‘Pokémon GO’ and iOS and Android devices for more information.

Mobile data usage

Since you’re probably a bill payer, it’s important to understand that the app requires constant GPS tracking and can consume mobile data fairly quickly, which can be costly. If your child is using Shared Pay (PAYG), it is easier to regulate and limit how often your child uses the phone.

Tip:
If your child is a contract worker, they may find it easier to accumulate large bills. Although most network providers will set usage limits if you ask them to, to keep your child from paying big bills. Check out our Online Money Management Guide for further tips.
