Pokemon Go November 2022 Events: Guzzlord Raids, Spotlight Hours and More
We’re halfway through November, but there’s still a lot happening in Pokemon Go this month. The mobile game is hosting a variety of events and activities over the next few weeks, including new Spotlight Hours and a Team Rocket takeover. On top of that, the new Ultra Beast Guzzlord is appearing five-star raids until Nov. 23.
Here are all the biggest events happening in Pokemon Go this month.
November Research Breakthrough
In addition to a fresh batch of Field Research tasks, Pokemon Go is offering a new Research Breakthrough reward in November. Each time you achieve a Research Breakthrough this month, you’ll earn a Star Piece along with a chance to catch Starmie.
Research Breakthroughs are tied to the stamps you collect when you complete Field Research. You’ll receive one stamp for the first Field Research task you complete each day, and once you’ve amassed seven stamps, you’ll achieve a Research Breakthrough.
Dratini Community Day Classic

Pokemon Go is hosting another Community Day rerun event on Nov. 5. Players will have another chance to catch the rare dragon Pokemon Dratini from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. local time. On top of that, each Dragonair you evolve into Dragonite before 7 p.m. local time will learn the Charged Attack Draco Meteor.
Teddiursa Community Day

Pokemon Go’s next proper Community Day is set for Nov. 12. The featured Pokemon this month is Teddiursa, and you’ll have your first chance to evolve it into Ursaluna during the event. On top of that, a few other in-game bonuses will be active, including triple XP and double candy for catching Pokemon.
Día de Muertos event

Pokemon Go is kicking off November with a Dia de Muertos celebration.
During the event, you’ll have a chance to get new costumed versions of Duskull, Dusclops and Dusknoir wearing cempasúchil crowns. On top of that, Litwick, Chinchou, Swirlix and other Pokemon will be appearing in the wild, and you’ll earn double catch candy and other in-game bonuses.
November raids
Pokemon Go is refreshing its raid rotation in November.
Mega Banette and Giratina will continue appearing in Mega and five-star raids until Nov. 8, when they’ll be replaced by Mega Gyarados and the debuting Guzzlord. Nihilego and Mega Houndoom will also make an encore appearance toward the end of the month.

Pokemon Go’s weekly Spotlight Hour event continues throughout November.
Every Tuesday evening from 6 to 7 p.m. local time, you’ll have more chances to catch a specific Pokemon and earn a particular in-game bonus.

Pokemon Go has a few other events lined up for November, including a Greedy Gluttons event (Nov. 9 to Nov. 17), a Team Rocket Takeover (Nov. 14 to Nov.
17), Safari Zone: Singapore (Nov. 18 to Nov. 20) and an Astral Eclipse event (Nov. 23 to Nov. 28). Additional details about these will be announced at a later date.

Niantic has revealed the Pokemon Go Spotlight Hour schedule for December 2022. With Spheal, Bergmite, and Cubchoo all making boosted appearances, there’s plenty to look forward to.
The Spotlight Hour is one of the weekly events that Niantic hosts in Pokemon Go. Each week, a different Pokemon will get a turn in the limelight, offering highly boosted spawn rates and a special double bonus.
For one hour, Trainers will get the chance to catch as many of that specific species as they can, offering the perfect opportunity to fill out their Pokedex and earn enough Candy to evolve and power up that Pokemon.

Alongside these Spotlight Hours, a weekend-long Community Day took place from December 17 to 18. All of these events are designed to give Trainers opportunities to catch, evolve, and battle with the community.

What is the next Pokemon Spotlight Hour? Date, time & bonus
Next up, Bergmite!
Niantic
Bergmite is the latest Pokemon to feature in Spotlight Hour.
Niantic has confirmed that the next Spotlight Hour will be Bergmite, and it goes live on Tuesday, December 20, 2022.
The Pokemon will be appearing more frequently in the wild for a short period of time, between 6PM-7PM local time. This means you’ll be able to take part and catch it wherever you are playing in the world.

On top of that, players can also grab Double Catch Candy as part of the event bonuses.
Is there a Shiny Bergmite in Pokemon Go?
The good news is that Shiny Bergmite is currently available in Pokemon Go, which means its evolution Avalugg is also available as a Shiny variant when evolved.

How to prepare for Bergmite Spotlight Hour in Pokemon Go
As the Spotlight Hours only last for 60 minutes, there are a number of things you can do to prepare in order to make sure you don’t waste any precious time:
- Make sure you have enough Poke Balls to catch multiple Spotlight Hour Pokemon.
- Make sure you have enough Berries to get double Candy or make catching easier.
- Clear out your Pokemon Storage Box to make room for all the Pokemon you’ll catch.
- Save up your PokeCoins and purchase an Incense for the event.
Alongside these tips, Spotlight Hours are the perfect opportunity to use any spare items like Lucky Eggs or Star Pieces to increase the XP and Stardust you’ll earn during the event.

Spotlight Hours give you a better chance to catch Shiny Pokemon.
Spotlight Hour Spawn Rate & Shiny Rate
The spawn rate of each Spotlight Hour Pokemon is boosted for 60 minutes during these events, meaning you’ll have plenty of opportunities to catch each species, especially if you’re using Incense and Lures.
As a result, the spawn rate of each Shiny variation is boosted too.
Many trainers use Spotlight Hours to fill out their Shiny collection, so this is the perfect chance for you to do the same!
This will be especially useful now that Niantic has introduced new Pokedex classifications to display your Shiny, Lucky, Event, and more Pokemon variants.

Pokémon GO November 2022 — Ursalun debut, Guzzlord raids, Shiny Dratini and more
November 2022 is full of content in Pokémon GO.
There are several debut Pokémon, including a new Ultra Beast that players can catch for their Pokédex, and more than a few events that will take place throughout the month. This guide will tell players about Raid Hours, Hours Attention , Raid Rotation , Science Breakthrough and events taking place in Pokémon GO in November.
Pokémon GO November 2022 Raid Clock
November 2022 Pokémon GO Raid Clock will feature Giratina (Origin Forme), Guzzlord and 9000 . There are no pre-announced special moves for these raid bosses, but they are still worth the fight. Guzzlord is especially notable for the fact that he has not yet appeared in the game. Some players may need to capture Nihilego as his previous appearances were during events and celebrations. nine0015
Giratina (Origin Form) — November 2, 2022
Giratina has been appearing in raids since October, but it’s worth taking every opportunity to fight and catch this Pokémon, as its shiny form is available upon encounter after battle.
Giratina’s shiny form has made several appearances in Pokémon GO, but it remains one of the most requested forms in the game.
Guzzlord — November 9 and 16, 2022
Guzzlord will debut in Pokémon GO in November 2022 and will be featured in raids throughout the week (it will also be featured during the two hours of the raid), and while it While perhaps not the best Ultra Beast in the game, these are definitely monstrous Pokémon that trainers will want to add to their Pokédex. Guzzlord won’t be coming in November 2022, but that’s likely to change in the future. nine0015
Date — November 23rd and 30th,
Nihilego was the first Ultra Beast added to Pokémon GO, and has returned several times since its debut. There’s nothing special about Nihilego’s raids this time around, so players who’ve already caught this Pokémon don’t have to go out of their way to grab it this time around. His shiny form is still unavailable in the game, and he doesn’t have any powerful moves other than his normal move set.
Pokémon GO November 2022 Spotlight Watch
Pokémon GO has some interesting Attention Hours in November 2022. Each Attention Hour will increase the spawn rate of Featured Pokémon, giving players a better chance of catching a shiny version if available. Each Spotlight Hours time will include a special event bonus that players can take advantage of, and these are usually quite lucrative.
Dark (Crowned) — November 1,
Duskull wearing the Cempaúchil crown will be available for this month’s first Attention Hour. This attention hour coincides with the celebration of Día de Muertos , which will feature costumed Pokémon extensively. The Shiny Pokémon Form will be available for the Hour.
Event Bonus : Double Stardust for capturing Pokémon.
Croagunk — November 8, 2022
Croagunk will be available during this month’s second Attention Hour. Players will be able to meet the shiny form of this Pokémon.

Porygon will be the third Pokémon to be introduced to the Spotlight Hour line this month. The shiny form of this Pokémon will be available, although many players are likely to have the shiny form as Porygon was introduced at the previous Community Day event.

Petilil — November 22, 2022
Petilil is featured in this month’s Attention Hour, and while its shiny form is apparently unavailable, it’s still worth catching. Thanks to a great event bonus, players can stock up on Petilil Candy to transform into Lilligant, or save up for when Hisuyan Lilligant is added to the game.

Hoothoot may not be the coolest Pokémon out there, but its shiny form is worth hunting for.
