Pikachu oder Evoli? Für welche Edition sollen wir uns entscheiden?

Wenn Pokémon: Let’s Go am 16. November erscheint, können Fans sich zwischen der Pikachu- und der Evoli-Edition entscheiden. Aber welche ist die richtige? Wie unterscheiden sich die beiden Spiele voneinander?

Wir haben Let’s Go, Pikachu für euch getestet und nach Differenzen in den beiden Editionen gesucht. Außerdem haben wir die Entwickler bei einem Anspielevent selbst gefragt, für welches Team sie sich entscheiden würden.

Die Unterschiede in Kürze

Optische Unterschiede

Der offensichtlichste Unterschied ist natürlich optisch. Im einen Spiel sind wir mit Evoli unterwegs, in dem anderen mit Pikachu.

Dabei hüpft Pikachu nach kurzer Zeit auf unsere Schulter und bleibt dort, während wir durch die Kanto-Region streifen. Evoli hingegen sitzt auf unserem Kopf.

Pikachu und Evoli haben unterschiedliche Reisepräferenzen.

Beide wedeln mit der Rute, wenn sie versteckte Gegenstände im hohen Gras sehen, und beide geben ihre typischen Laute von sich, wenn sie umherhüpfen, kämpfen oder von uns gepflegt werden.

Hier hat Evoli lediglich einen, regional bedingt, größeren Wortschatz. Das Pokémon heißt nämlich in vielen Sprachen anders, weswegen sein Ruf für jede dieser Variationen einzeln aufgenommen werden musste.

Die Sprecherin, Aoi Yuki, ist selbst großer Evoli-Fan und würde sich wahrscheinlich für die dementsprechende Edition entscheiden.

Exklusive Attacken für Pikachu und Evoli

Habt ihr Pikachu oder Evoli als Partner, lernen die beiden jeweils exklusive Attacken, die «normale» Versionen ihrer Artgenossen nicht haben.

Für Pikachu sind das:

  • Pika-Flash (Elektro-Attacke)
  • Plätschersurfer (Wasser-Attacke)
  • Schwebesturz (Flug-Attacke)

Evoli scheint ein bisschen lernfreudiger zu sein. Der braune Wuschel hat nämlich das Potenzial für:

  • Evo-Crash (Normal-Attacke)
  • Flackerbrand (Feuer-Attacke)
  • Blubbsauger (Wasser-Attacke)
  • Knisterladung (Elektro-Attacke)

Pikachu ist nicht nur drollig, sondern auch lernfreudig.

Welche Vorteile bieten Evoli und Pikachu im Kampf?

Es gibt einen Punkt, in dem sich Evoli und Pikachu auch spielmechanisch unterscheiden: Evoli ist ein Pokémon vom Typ Normal, Pikachu ist ein Elektropokémon.

Damit haben wir natürlich je nach Gegner in unterschiedlichen Situationen die Nase vorn, beispielsweise beim Kampf gegen die Arenaleiter.

Zwar haben in Rockos Steinpokémon-Arena weder normale noch Elektroattacken eine große Chance gegen die steinharte Abwehr, Pikachu lernt jedoch relativ früh eine Kampf-Attacke, mit der wir den steinigen Kollegen ordentlich einen auf die Mütze geben können.

Im Kampf haben die beiden je nach Gegner abwechselnd die Nase vorn.

Im darauffolgenden Azuria City hat ebenfalls Pikachu einen Vorteil, denn Wasserpokémon hassen bekanntlich nichts mehr als Elektro-Attacken.

Wie die Sache in der Elektro-Arena von Orania City aussieht, wissen wir noch nicht. In der gelben Edition traten wir damals gegen ein Raichu an, das hauptsächlich normale Attacken beherrschte, die Pikachu das Leben schwer machten.

Ein Evoli wäre gegen diese Art Angriffe natürlich sehr viel besser gerüstet. Hier kommt es ganz darauf an, mit welchem Pokémon-Typ ihr lieber kämpft.

Editionsspezifische Pokémon

Wie auch in anderen Pokémon-Generationen gibt es auch in der Evoli- und Pikachu-Edition Monster, die jeweils nur in einer der beiden Editionen zu fangen sind. In der jeweils anderen sind sie nur durch Tausch oder von NPC erhältlich.

Exklusive Pokémon der Pikachu Edition sind:

  • Myrapla
  • Duflor
  • Sandan
  • Sandamer
  • Fukano
  • Arkani

Snobilikat ist in der Pikachu-Edition nicht in der Wildnis zu finden, wird uns aber von einem NPC geschenkt, wenn wir ihm fünf Fukanos präsentieren.

Exklusive Pokémon der Evoli-Edition

  • Knofensa
  • Ultrigaria
  • Sarzenia
  • Vulpix
  • Vulnona
  • Mauzi
  • Snobilikat

Da wir in der Pikachu-Edition ein Snobilikat geschenkt bekommen, vermuten wir, dass in der Evoli-Edition der gleiche NPC ein Arkani für uns hat, wenn wir ihm fünf Mauzis präsentieren.

Für wen solltet ihr euch entscheiden?

Ihr seht als, die Unterschiede zwischen den Editionen sind nur geringfügig. Am Ende kommt es wahrscheinlich darauf an, welchen der beiden Knubbel ihr lieber mit durch Kanto schleppt und auf welche der exklusiven Pokémon ihr keinesfalls verzichten könnt (so lange ihr kein Pokémon Go spielt und euch die fehlenden Monster einfach auf die Switch übertragt und dafür Belohnungen einstreicht).

Allerdings haben wir noch eine Frage zu beantworten, deren Auflösung euch die Entscheidung vielleicht leichter machen könnte:

wäre ein entwickeltes Aquana vielleicht sogar zu schwer für auf den Arm? Ein entwickeltes Raichu wäre es auf alle Fälle.

Lassen sich Pikachu und Evoli entwickeln?

Wenn sich die beiden Starter-Pokémon entwicklen könnten, würde das die Sache für viele vereinfachen. Pikachu wäre dann beschränkt auf eine Elektro-Form, während Evoli zu Aquana, Flamara oder Blitza werden kann.

Dem ist aber nicht so. Zwar könnt ihr andere Evolis und Pikachus fangen und entwickeln, euer Starter bleibt jedoch das gesamte Spiel in seiner Ursprungsform.

Mit einem Pikachu als erstem Pokémon und den Originalen drei Startern aus der roten und blauen Edition lässt sich natürlich eine schöne Nostalgiekombo bilden, die Fans der ersten Editionen sowie des Animes glücklich machen dürfte.

Dafür hättet ihr aber mit dem Evoli die Chance, mit drei anderen Evoli eine Armee der kleinen Wuschelbälle zu bilden und Donner, Feuer, Wasser und normale Pokémon nur durch Evoli abzubilden. Vielleicht hilft euch ja der Gedanke an eine Evoli-Parade bei der Entscheidung.

Was sagen die Entwickler?

Falls ihr euch immer noch nicht entscheiden könnt, haben wir noch eine allerletzte Anekdote für euch:

Bei unserem Anspieltermin zu Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu haben wir die Chance gehabt, zwei Mitglieder des Entwicklerteams nach ihrer persönlichen Vorliebe zu fragen. Auf die Frage, ob sie Team Evoli oder Team Pikachu unterstützen, hatten wir eigentlich eine ausweichende Antwort erwartet.

Für Juinichi Masuda, den Executive Director und Head of Development bei Gamefreak und Kansaku Nabana, den Head of Design bei Pokémon: Let’s Go, war die Sache jedoch sehr klar: Masuda-san griff entschieden zum am Set herumsitzenden Plüsch-Pikachu, während Nabana-san sich des Evoli schnappte. Klare Fronten also.

Gelbe Edition: Special Pikachu Edition (Internetseite auf
Englisch), das erstmals 1998 in Japan veröffentlicht wurde. Die auf dieser
Grundlage entstandenen Editionen verfolgen neue Konzepte, die von den
einzigartigen Möglichkeiten der Nintendo Switch-Konsole Gebrauch machen.
Darüber hinaus bieten sie den Spielspaß von Pokémon GO und
dessen intuitiver Fangmechanik.

Zu Beginn deines Abenteuers begegnest du je
nach Edition entweder Pikachu oder Evoli. Dieses Pokémon wird dir als treuer
Partner auf deiner Reise zur Seite stehen und gemeinsam mit dir an Erfahrung
wachsen.

Dein Pikachu oder Evoli ist immer und überall
an deiner Seite und macht es sich entweder auf deiner Schulter oder auf deinem

Die Wahl zwischen Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! und Pokémon:
Let’s Go, Evoli! wirkt sich nicht nur auf dein erstes Partner-Pokémon aus,
sondern auch darauf, welchen Arten von Pokémon du auf deinen Reisen begegnest
und wie häufig sich deine Wege mit denen eines bestimmten Pokémon kreuzen.

Egal, ob du gerade die Welt von Pokémon:
Let’s Go, Pikachu! und Pokémon: Let’s Go, Evoli! erkundest oder dich
in einem wilden Kampf befindest, dein Partner-Pokémon wird sich in beiden

Spaltschnitt räumt es lästige Sträucher aus eurem Weg, während es mit
Wellenspurt mit dir über das Wasser flitzen kann.

Dein Partner kann außerdem einige exklusive
Attacken für den Kampf erlernen, die keinem anderen Pokémon zur Verfügung
stehen. Pikachu beispielsweise kann die Wasser-Attacke Plätschersurfer
erlernen, während Evoli sein Attacken-Repertoire mit Knisterladung vom Typ
Elektro oder Flackerbrand vom Typ Feuer erweitern kann.

Die Spiele nutzen die Möglichkeiten der
Nintendo Switch-Konsole und ermöglichen es Spielern so, das Pokémon-Universum
auf eine völlig neue und leicht zugängliche Art und Weise zu erleben. Selbst
Neueinsteiger, die noch keinerlei Erfahrung mit Pokémon-Spielen haben, werden
sich problemlos in Pokémon: Let’s Go,
Pikachu! und Pokémon: Let’s Go,
Evoli! zurechtfinden. Gleichzeitig weisen beide Editionen aber auch
genügend Tiefgang auf, um erfahrene Spieler zu fordern.

Verglichen mit den vorherigen Spielen hat sich
die Art und Weise, auf die man Pokémon fängt, drastisch verändert. Jetzt kannst
du den Joy-Con benutzen, um mit einer Hand einen Pokéball auf dein Ziel zu
werfen, entweder per Knopfdruck oder mit einem eleganten Schwung aus dem Handgelenk.
Es war noch nie so intuitiv und einfach, ein Pokémon-Trainer zu sein!

Eine neue Pokémon-Art wurde entdeckt! Dieses
Mysteriöse Pokémon nennt man Meltan und es existieren mehrere Berichte, laut
denen es in Pokémon GO auftauchen
soll. Tatsächlich ist Pokémon GO der
Schlüssel, um diesem seltsamen neuen Pokémon in Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! und Pokémon:
Let’s Go, Evoli! begegnen zu können.

Um Meltan in Pokémon GO fangen zu können, benötigst du eine Wunderbox. Diese
erhältst du, indem du Pokémon aus Pokémon
GO auf Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu!
oder Pokémon: Let’s Go, Evoli!
überträgst. Sobald die Wunderbox in Pokémon
GO geöffnet wurde, werden Meltan erscheinen. Berühre eines der Meltan, die
du auf der Karte siehst, und versuche dann, es mit einem Pokéball zu fangen!

Sobald du ein Meltan in Pokémon GO gefangen hast, kannst du es auf deine Nintendo
Switch-Spiele übertragen, damit es dich dort auf deinem Abenteuer durch die
Kanto-Region begleitet. Hast du selbst kein Meltan in Pokémon GO gefangen, kannst du auch einen Freund bitten, eins aus
seiner Sammlung auf dein Spiel zu übertragen.

Meltan ist das erste Mysteriöse Pokémon, das
sich entwickeln kann. Seine Entwicklung trägt den Namen Melmetal. Meltan kann
sich nur in Pokémon GO zu Melmetal
entwickeln. Dafür benötigst du 400 Meltan-Bonbons.

Meltan-Bonbons erhältst du in Pokémon GO, indem du Meltan fängst, sie
an Professor Willow schickst oder Meltan als Kumpel an deiner Seite reisen
lässt.

Außerdem erhältst du diese Bonbons, wenn du
Meltan aus Pokémon GO auf Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! und Pokémon: Let’s Go, Evoli! überträgst. Es
gibt zudem noch andere praktische Kniffe, mit denen du die Entwicklung zu
Melmetal beschleunigen kannst. Du kannst zum Beispiel Sonderbonbons einsetzen
oder Meltan mit Freunden tauschen, um mehr Meltan-Bonbons zu erhalten.

Du kannst Melmetal, die du in Pokémon GO entwickelt hast, auf Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! und Pokémon: Let’s Go, Evoli! übertragen.
Alternativ können auch deine Freunde es dir von ihren Pokémon GO-Konten schicken. Wir wünschen dir viel Spaß dabei, die
Kanto-Region zusammen mit Melmetal zu erkunden!

Die Mega-Entwicklung gibt es nun erstmals auch
in der Kanto-Region. Sie geht über die herkömmliche Entwicklung eines Pokémon
hinaus und macht es stärker, indem kurzzeitig die in ihm schlummernde Energie
freigesetzt wird. Die Mega-Entwicklung ist nur möglich, wenn zwischen einem
Pokémon und seinem Trainer eine tiefe Bindung besteht.

In Pokémon:
Let’s Go, Pikachu! und Pokémon: Let’s
Go, Evoli! kannst du bei bestimmten Pokémon ein Mal pro Kampf die
Mega-Entwicklung auslösen, wenn du einen Schlüssel-Stein und den zum Pokémon
passenden Mega-Stein besitzt. Wann du bei welchem Pokémon die Mega-Entwicklung
auslöst, kann darüber entscheiden, wer einen Kampf gewinnt.

Einige Pokémon verfügen über Regionalformen.
Die Regionalformen der Alola-Region sind als „Alola-Formen“ bekannt. Wenn du in
Pokémon GO ein Pokémon in seiner
Alola-Form gefangen hast, kannst du dieses auf Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! oder Pokémon: Let’s Go, Evoli! übertragen.

Sobald du Champ der Pokémon-Liga geworden
bist, wirst du überall in der Kanto-Region neue Meistertrainer antreffen. Sie
gelten als die stärksten Trainer für eine bestimmte Pokémon-Art und die meisten
von ihnen werden gegen dich kämpfen wollen, sofern du mit ihrer liebsten
Pokémon-Art gegen sie antrittst. Da diese Meistertrainer eine wahre Kraftprobe
für dich und deine Pokémon darstellen, dürfen weder du noch der Meistertrainer
während des Kampfes Items einsetzen.

Bezwinge die Meistertrainer im Kampf, um ihren
Titel zu erlangen und zu beweisen, dass auch du ein Meister ihrer liebsten
Pokémon-Art bist. Du kannst deine Titel sogar während Link-Kämpfen im Spiel
anzeigen lassen, um auch deine Freunde von deinen Fähigkeiten zu überzeugen.

In Pokémon:
Let’s Go, Pikachu! und Pokémon: Let’s
Go, Evoli! können auch zwei Spieler gleichzeitig spielen. Wenn du deinem Mitspieler
einen der beiden Joy-Con-Controller gibst, könnt ihr euch gemeinsam ins
Abenteuer stürzen. Ein gut abgestimmter Wurf zweier Pokébälle zum Beispiel kann
die Chancen auf den Fang eines wilden Pokémon erhöhen, und wenn du einem
besonders zähen Trainer gegenüberstehst, kann dir ein Freund zu Hilfe eilen und

von deinen Freunden und deiner Familie zu bekommen!

Sobald du ein Pokémon GO-Konto mit Pokémon:

Let’s Go, Evoli! verbunden hast, kannst du Pokémon in den GO Park
übertragen, der sich in Fuchsania City befindet. Wenn du die Kanto-Region
zusammen mit den Pokémon erkunden möchtest, die du aus Pokémon GO übertragen hast, musst du sie zunächst im GO Park
fangen.

Sobald du 25 Exemplare derselben Pokémon-Art
im GO Park untergebracht hast, kannst du dich auf der Spielwiese an einem
besonderen Minispiel versuchen, bei dem tolle Belohnungen auf dich warten.
