Pokemon Go shiny list and shiny you can catch
The Pokemon Go shiny list include some of the rarest Pokemon in the franchise. And while the main series games have their own methods to obtaining them, it’s honestly a bit easier to find in Pokemon Go.
With Pokemon Go’s constant events, obtaining a Shiny Pokemon is relatively easy and is a huge draw for trainers looking to obtain every Pokemon in their Shiny Pokedex.
There are hundreds of Pokemon, and Shinies, that can be obtained in Pokemon Go across eight generations and this guide will help trainers catch them effectively and list every single one that can be captured in the popular mobile game.

How to get shiny Pokemon in Pokemon Go
If you’ve been playing Pokemon Go for a long time and never stumbled across a shiny, don’t be surprised. The Pokemon Go shiny odds are roughly 1 in 450. This means that every time you tap on a Pokemon to catch it in Pokemon Go — if it has a shiny version — there is a 1 in 450 chance it will be shiny.
However, these odds are dramatically increased on Pokemon Go Community Day to 1 in 25. Community Day happens once a month in Pokemon Go, when a specific Pokemon will flood the streets and appear almost everywhere. Along with the other benefits usually found during Community Day, Pokemon Go shinies become much more popular and you’d have to be considerably unlucky to not find a shiny during Community Day.
You won’t know if you’ve found a shiny Pokemon or not until you tap on it and enter the encounter. If the colour change is subtle, you’ll also know you’ve found a shiny if a bunch of sparks fly out from the Pokemon before you throw the first ball. Once you’ve caught a Pokemon Go shiny, you can search for «shiny» in your list of Pokemon to show you your full Pokemon Go shiny list.
Complete Pokemon Go shiny list
All of the Pokemon on our Pokemon Go shiny list below can be found as shinies in Pokemon Go, including how you obtain them all, as some are exclusive to raids or eggs. Currently, all evolutions cannot be caught as shiny — the only exceptions to this are Pikachu, Nidorina, Nidoqueen, and Alolan Exeggutor.

Pokémon GO: Shinys und ihre Chancen
Mittlerweile gibt es hunderte Shinys in Pokémon GO.

- Die besten Angreifer in Pokémon GO
- Die besten Verteidiger in Pokémon GO
- Übersicht über alle Entwicklungsitems in Pokémon GO

Pokemon Go Cacnea Spotlight Hour Guide: Shiny, Bonuses, Tips
Cacnea Spotlight Hour is almost here in Pokemon Go and here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming event. Attention Hours are weekly events that take place in Pokemon Go every Tuesday from 18:00 to 19:00 local time. During these one-hour periods, said Pokemon will spawn much more frequently, and players will receive special bonuses in the form of candy, experience, and more. If you’re an avid Pokemon Go player, then you won’t want to miss any of them. Here’s everything you need to know about Cacnea Spotlight Hour, including brilliant odds, bonuses, and more. nine0003
When is the Cacnea Attention Hour in Pokemon Go?
Cacnea Spotlight Hour takes place on Tuesday, November 2 from 18:00 to 19:00 local time. Cacnea will spawn more frequently during the event and players will also receive an additional bonus (see below for details). Spotlight Hours run every week, so check out our Pokemon Go November Spotlight schedule to keep track of what’s happening this month.
Can Cacnea be brilliant in Pokemon Go? nine0005
Yes, Cacnea can be brilliant in Pokemon Go. Since Cacnea appears so often during the event, this is a great time to get a shiny version for yourself. The Shiny Chance itself won’t change during the event, but you’ll have a much better chance of catching a Shiny Pit as you’ll encounter so many over the course of an hour.
Cacnea Spotlight Hourly Bonus
During the Attention Hour, you will earn 2x Candy for every Pokémon you catch. This makes it a great way to stock up on candy as well as hunt for shiny Cacnea. nine0003
Best Ways to Prepare for Cacnea Attention Hour
You’ll only have one hour to catch as many Cacneas as possible, so you’ll need to prepare as much as possible before the event starts in your area. These are the best ways to prepare for Kaknea Attention Hour in Pokemon Go.
- Stock up on Poke Balls
- Stock up on berries
- Free up space in your Pokémon storage box
- Buying incense or bait
You don’t want to run out of Poke Balls or storage space during the event, as every minute counts, so make sure you stock up on the appropriate items and empty your Pokemon storage box before the event starts. You can also use incense or baits to further increase your Cacnea spawn rate, which is a great way to earn tons of candy. It’s also great for dedicated Brilliant hunters, as having more Cacnea encounters means you’re more likely to end up running into a Brilliant. nine0003
