Despite being permitted in the city, many thinbloods don’t survive very long. With little understanding of what they are or the rules of Kindred society, they face a struggle to simply exist in a city carved up by established political factions. Many are killed when they pose a threat to the Masquerade. A few find work as grunts and runners for the less scrupulous denizens of Seattle. It’s a hard, short life for most thinbloods in Seattle, but it’s also a city of opportunity for the few that can navigate their way into the higher circles of vampire society.
As newly created vampires, far removed from the source of their blood’s power, thinbloods’ powers are strange and indiscriminate — deviating from the ancient disciplines.

This Thinblood discipline calls on the vampire’s strong affinity to bats, allowing her to move through the air and summon swarms.
• Glide (Blood Cost: 1) is Chiropteran’s first active power, and can be enhanced by investing in the • • slot. Glide greatly lowers the weight of the vampire’s skeleton and muscle mass to allow them to float on updrafts, reaching otherwise inaccessible areas. In the air, the vampire can swoop into NPC to knock them down, pounce on enemies far below, or use the height advantage to rain down Disciplines from afar.
• • • Bat Swarm (Blood Cost: 2), the second active power, allows the vampire to summon a small swarm of bats to attack a target NPC, temporarily disabling them and dealing low damage. The • • • • and • • • • • slots grow this power, until a true Maelstrom of leathery wings surrounds the vampire, harrying and damaging any enemy who dares come too close.
This Thinblood discipline allows the vampire to manipulate objects through telekinesis — allowing them to even pull weapons from enemies’ hands.
• Pull (Blood Cost: 0/1, target dependent) is Mentalism’s first active. It allows the vampire to manipulate inanimate objects from afar — whether that’s an inconvenient obstacle, or the knife in the hands of the NPC bearing down on them. The • • slot upgrades Pull even further.
• • • Levitate (Blood Cost: 2), the second active power, suspends a living NPC in the air. Its strength can be enhanced with the • • • • and • • • • • slots, until the vampire can levitate everyone and everything in an area, and throw suspended enemies around like ragdolls.
This Thinblood discipline allow the vampire to call on her affinity to mist, allowing her to summon and command it.
• Mist Shroud (Blood Cost: 2), Nebulation’s first active power, envelops the vampire with mist for a short time, muffling footsteps and making them slightly harder to notice. In addition, the vampire can partially transform into mist for one invocation to either perform a choking attack on an NPC, or travel through tight spaces. The • • slot enhances these powers even further.
• • • Envelop (Blood Cost: 3), the second active, creates a stationary, swirling cloud of mist that surrounds, blinds and forcefully enters the lungs of NPC that touch it. It and Mist Shroud both can be further improved with the • • • • and • • • • • slots.

At , Paradox Interactive announced that it has acquired the full licenses of White Wolf Publishing from PDA for $1.2 million. AT , Paradox teases the launch of a possible sequel to Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines , which may be announced , the opening day of the San Francisco Game Developers Conference. Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 release 2020 confirmed by Paradox Interactive for PC (Windows) , PlayStation 4, Xbox One, during GDC 2019.
Its release has been postponed to 2021. .
During Paradox’s 2020 financial report, we learn that the game will be changing developer (still unknown today, and that the game will not ultimately be scheduled for the year 2021. In June of that year, we will be there. Learns that following Chris Avellone’s allegations of sexual assault, the game will change directors, making way for Alexander Mandrika, known for his work on Far Cry and Assassin’s Creed Avellone’s work will also be removed from the final version of the game.0003

As the story progresses, players will eventually join one of five Kindred sister clans, each of which will be revealed in the coming weeks.
The Thinbloods are a recent and weak group of vampires constantly fighting for survival in the World of Darkness. Despite being treated as second-class citizens by the Kindred, the leadership of Seattle is oddly tolerant of the Thinnobloods. Despite being under Camarilla control for a short time, Seattle remains a city full of opportunities for Thinbloods to join the upper echelons of vampire society; however, he is rarely shown the same respect or legal value as members of a full-blooded clan.
At the start of Bloodlines 2 players will have to choose between one of three Thinblood disciplines: Chiropteran, Mentalism or Nebulation. Taken from the RPG board game and adapted for Bloodlines 2 , these Thinblood disciplines guarantee exceptional combat and crossbreeding skills that can be upgraded during play to increase efficiency or add special effects.
Each Thin Blood discipline has two active powers and three passive enhancements. Their progression is explained below:
chiropteran — Strong affinity with bats that allows vampires to move through the air and summon swarms.
Glide is the first active force. Gliding greatly reduces the vampire’s skeletal weight and muscle mass, allowing him to swim briefly, reach areas otherwise inaccessible, lash out at NPCs to break them.
Swarm of Bats is the second active force. The vampire can summon a small swarm of bats to attack the NPC, temporarily knocking them down and dealing minor damage. This power can be increased until a veritable whirlwind of crude wings engulfs the vampire, tormenting and damaging those who get too close.
Mentalism — Use telekinesis to manipulate objects and disarm enemies.
Traction is the first active force. Control inanimate objects or NPC weapons using telekinesis.
· Levitate is the second active force. Levitates a living NPC. Its power can be enhanced, allowing the vampire to levitate anything and everyone in an area and toss enemies sticking around like a rag doll.
Nebulation — Allows the vampire to summon and manipulate fog.
Mist cover is the first active power. Summons a shroud of mist that briefly surrounds the player. Cloak of Mist muffles the sound of footsteps and reduces the player’s range.
