    Different Hair Styles for Girls

You can go into the salon and choose your own style and color by answering a few of Harriet’s questions. To get your hair pulled up in a hair-tie, answer «big nights» to her first question, «duh» to her second question and «RAWK!» to type of song.

For hair color, choosing hot will get you pink, red, or yellow, while cold will get you blue, green, or white. Then you’ll be able to pick your exact color by choosing the following:
    — Young = blue
    — Lush = green
    — Radiant = white
    — Mysterious or Safe = brown
    — Lighthearted = yellow
    — Fiery = red
    — Flirty = pink

Of course there are many different styles, but I don’t know exactly what they are. I hope you all like what you come up with. But remember, getting your hair done costs a whopping 3,000 bells! So think about it before you drop your cash for an ugly hair-do!

    Visit the Moon!

Gulliver (in the UFO) can be shot down out of the sky. After you give him his 5 parts, he gives you a gift. But he has a certain limit on his gifts (14). On the 15th time fixing up his UFO, he’ll tell you that he’s out of gifts (uh-oh). He says the next time he comes here, he’ll have an idea of something to give/do to you. So, wait until the next time he comes over. Shoot him down (for the 16th time) and collect his parts. He’ll say he knows how to reward you, and you will find out tomorrow. When you go outside your house, Gulliver will greet you and ask you to follow him. He’ll bring you to his ship and you and him will get in it. He’ll take off and after a minute of seeing stars, you’ll land on the moon. You won’t find much, you can see craters and the earth, but not much else. The only interesting thing is this weird plant. It has 1 piece of fruit, shake it off. You will find that the whole «tree» falls down. You can pick up the fruit and the «tree». The «tree» can be used as furniture and the fruit picked, so you can harvest more «trees».

Warning: Don’t sell the fruit. It’s only 1,000 bells and you’d have to revisit the moon (on your 32nd, 48th, 64th, etc. time of helping Gulliver you’ll get the same offer. It’s basically a repeat, of the pattern you’ve already followed, so ya) to get a new one. The «trees» are cool in the house, and fit well with the space theme. They have an eerie green glow, and they have purple «bark». Very alien like.

Wild World (DS) Cheats & Tricks – I Love Animal Crossing

Get Cash | House and Store Upgrades | Special Objects | Special Visitors | Other Hints and Secrets | Item Lists

If you have any tricks or hints you’ve discovered and would like to share them with us, you can send us an message.

Get Cash

Sell fruit, fish, shells, bugs, or other unused stuff to Nook. He’ll only give you 25% of what you paid for the item though.

Sell stuff at the Flea Market (Third Saturday of Each Month). You’ll be able to get twice as much as you’d get from Nook. You can’t sell bugs or fish at the Flea Market though.

Maximize your time by not selling cheaper fish. You’re better off throwing it back in the water and fishing for more expensive fish. That way you won’t have to go back and forth between Nook’s and the river/sea so many times.

Maximize your time by not selling cheaper shells. Only pick up White Scallops and Pearl Oysters. They’re the most and expensive. You may also find coconuts wash ashore. Pick them up and plant them near the shore to grow palm trees. Each coconut is worth 500 bells!

Send presents to the villagers in your letters and they’ll send you furniture or different kinds of fruit that are not native to your town. They’re worth 500 bells instead of 100, but if you plant them you’ll have many trees with lots of fruits that are worth 500 bells! You can also get non-native fruits by visiting your friends’ towns via DS to DS connection or WiFi.

Deposit money in your bank account and you’ll earn interest every month. You can also cheat by changing the date and get a lot of money in interest. However, be careful because the town will be full of weeds. If you decide to do it, you might as well do it several times to make it worthwile.

Shake trees and you’ll find a few bells here and there or even hidden furniture. If the bees come out, they will most likely sting you, but you should try to catch them, as they’re worth 4,500 bells at Nook’s!

Fish at the ocean at night time, when it’s snowing or raining. If you see a huge fish shadow, go get it! It will be a living fossil fish, which is worth 15,000 bells.

Hit all the rocks in town once a day. One of them will contain money bags. Hit it several times consecutively, and you’ll get more money (sometimes up to 20,000 bells!). You can dig three holes around yourself and the rock so when you hit it you don’t accidentally step back. You have to do this before hitting each rock for the first time though.

When you see “stars” in the ground, use your shovel to dig out a fossil, which you can donate at the museum (for free) or sell it to Nook for big bucks after it’s been identified by Blathers the owl. Sometimes it won’t be a fossil, but you can still sell the Gyroids. Pitfall seeds are worthless though.

You’ll receive money in a letter from your Mom on January 1st – It will contain 10,000 bells.

Special Visitors

Blanca: (Random Day) She’s a white cat with no face. She’ll ask you to redraw it, and you can draw her face as many times as you want for that day, until you save and quite. When you first see her, she might be wearing a face someone else from another remote town drew. Some designs can be quite interesting!

Chip: (6am-6pm June-November) He holds a fishing tourney every Sunday during the months of June and November. He’ll give you a prize if you caught the biggest bass that day (so far). At the end of the day, if you were the winner, you’ll receive a prize on the mail.

Crazy Redd: (6am to 6pm on a random day) He sells furniture and sometimes rare items. Careful with his prices though! Oftentimes he’s more expensive than Nook. He also sells paintings, sometimes original and sometimes counterfeit.

Franklin: (3pm to 9pm on Thanksgiving) Find him hiding behind trees and buildings. Give him the forks Tortimer gives you at the Town Hall and he’ll give you special “Harvest” furniture. You can repeat this until you have the whole collection.

Gulliver: (6am to Midnight – once a week) This guy is tough to locate, but he flies the skies 32 minutes after the hour at any random hour. Listen to his tales and he’ll give you a rare item.

Gracie: (6am-6am – 24 hours on a random day) Wash her car by tapping A really fast when she asks you to and she’ll give you one of her unique shirts.

Jack: (6pm Oct. 31 to 1am Nov. 1) Everyone in town will be dressed up like Jack that day, but you have to find the real Jack. He will not chase you, but you’ll have to give him candy you bought at Nook’s during the month of November. He’ll give you “Spooky” furniture. If you’re persistent, you’ll find the whole collection.

Jingle: (Dec. 24 – 8pm to Dec. 25 – 1am) Talk to him several times and he’ll give you pieces of the “Jingle” series furniture. Only trick is…you have to change your clothes each time so he doesn’t recognize you!

Joan: (Sunday 6am – Noon) Buy turnips from her and sell them to Nook any day of the week except Sundays. The prices vary like the stock market, so you may make extra money or lose some. Also, you can buy red turnips from her, which you can plant for a special surprise. Turnips rot after a week, so sell them before that!

Katie & Kaitlin (When You Play with Friends via Wi-Fi) This mom and baby will be found when you play with a friend online. The baby cat will be crying because she can’t find her mom. The mom will be all desperate because she can’t find her daughter. The only way to solve this issue is to re-connect with your friend online and reunite these pair of lost souls. Once you do this, you’ll get a present from the mom on the mail. If you don’t re-connect with your friend, the cats will remain in your towns for a week and no other special visitors will come in the meantime.

Katrina: (9pm – 9pm- 24 hours on a random day) She’ll tell you your fortune. Sometimes it’s nothing important, but sometimes she will tell you something special.

K.K. Slider (aka Totakeke) (Saturday 6pm to Midnight) Watch him play music at the cafeteria. He’ll give you a record after the song is done so you can play the music at home. Find the song list at the bottom of the page.

Mr. Resetti (After You Don’t Save the Game) You should be familiar with him by now, but he shows up every time you forget to save your game before quitting. He’ll be really annoying and will talk and talk until he thinks you’ve understood why it’s important to save.

Nat (3rd Saturday in June, July, August, and September) Nat hosts the Bug Catching Contest. He’ll reward you with gifts each time you bring him the rarest bug. Also, he’ll send you the Bug Trophy if you were able to catch the rarest bug that day.

Saharah: (6am to 6am – 24 hours on a random day) She trades rare and exotic carpets for one of your carpets and some money. The prices go up the more you buy from her, but sometimes it’s worth it.

Snowman: (Dec. 25 to Mid-February) If you notice small balls of snow in the ground you should roll them around to make them bigger. Find another ball and roll it on top of the other to make a snowman. If it has the right proportions, he’ll give you special “Snowman” furniture. If he’s out of proportion, he’ll just complain.

Wendell: (6am to 6am – 24 hours on a random day) When you find him, you’ll have the opportunity to give him fish three times. He’ll give you wallpapers in exchange.

Wisp: (Midnight-4am) If you have too many weeds in town and are playing late at night, he’ll probably pay you a visit. When hear his whispers, he will materialize and ask you to catch five spirits hidden throughout town. Catch them with your net and he will reward you by granting you a wish. Your choices will be: painting your roof, picking all the weeds, or receiving an item.

Other Hints and Secrets

Mr. Resetti’s Home
Turn off the DS without saving a couple of times so Resetti can give you his lecture. After that, start hitting all the rocks in town until one of them breaks open. Hit it again and enter the hole. You’ll see Mr. Resetti’s home!

Tom Nook’s Home
If you go to the back of the shop between midnight and 2 a.m. and hit the back wall three times with your shovel and then hit the front entrance one more time, Nook will come out in pajamas and with a teddy bear!

Custom Inventory Background
Choose a shirt pattern and apply it to the screen by dragging it to the lower left corner. You can do this from the pattern inventory or with a shirt you like.

Room Color
When you first start playing Animal Crossing, the color of your first room will be the same as your color on the DS menu. If you want a different  color, remember to change it first on the DS menu.

Lyle’s Insurance
Buy insurance from Lyle the first time he asks you. From then on, every time you trip or get stung by bees, you’ll get a letter with 100 bells. After that, don’t talk to him or he’ll make you pay more and more for the insurance.

Hidden Stuff in Rocks
If a neighbor is looking at a rock, there might be something in it. Hit it with a shovel and something will come out of it, possibly a Pill Bug.

Free Furniture
Go to the Town Hall and open the recycling container. It may have furniture or other cool stuff. You can also go to the Gate and talk to Booker (dog on the left) to see if he has any objects in the “Lost & Found.”

Making Animals Stay when they want to Move Out of Town
When you visit a neighbor and he/she’s packed everything and is ready to leave, keep talking to them and tell them not to leave until they start reconsidering their decision.

Keep the Neighbors at Home
If you have trouble finding neighbors when you need them, just go to the gate, ask Copper to establish a connection from DS to DS so you can have visitors, and then every neighbor will be home. Don’t forget to close the gate when you’re done so you don’t use too much battery!

Make your Neighbors Angry
Walk into the neighbors and push them around or hit them with the shovel or bug net. They’ll become mad and steam will come out of their heads.

Cure Bee Stings without Medicine
If you get stung and don’t want to spend money on medicine or the store is closed, simply go to your attic and sleep, save the game, and restart it. When it reloads, your face will be perfect again!

Nature’s Punishment
Play your game at least once a week, or the next time you go back to it, the town will be full of weeds and your flowers may be gone or dying. Same thing will happen if you start cheating by changing the date radically.

Finding out if a Painting is a Counterfeit (Before you Buy)
Walk towards the item and press A. Crazy Redd will tell you the price. The item is a fake if there’s a thought bubble over his head and he says one of the following things:
“It’s a very nice item” / “It took ol’ Redd a long time to get his hands on that!” / “It took a lot of wheeling and dealing” / “When it comes to items for Crazy Redd’s family, I won’t stop ’til I get it!” / “I’m gonna offer it to you for only — Bells!” If the item is very cheap, it’s probably fake too.

Finding out if a Painting is a Counterfeit (After you Buy)
Once you buy a painting, you can go to Nook’s and see if the painting you bought is part of the catalog. If it’s not, then it’s a forgery and you should sell it to Nook instead of having Blathers appraise it (lowers the price). If it is on the catalog, then it’s an original and you can go donate it at the museum.

Animal Crossing: Wild World is the Nintendo DS sequel to Animal Crossing, a life simulation game in which human characters fish, catch bugs and build a home in an ever-changing animal neighborhood.

Description

Animal Crossing: Wild World for Nintendo DS is a simulation game developed by Nintendo EAD and the sequel to Animal Crossing for the Nintendo GameCube. The core of the game is simple and follows the original: the player moves to a new city, immediately takes a deposit and pays it off, earning money by catching fish, catching bugs, growing, picking fruit, and interacting with myriad neighbors. The game clock is synchronized with the system clock, which allows you to play in real time, including the change of day and night and seasonal effects (snow in winter, yellowing leaves in autumn, and so on).

Wild World has received innovations compared to the original: a hairdresser, new fittings, expanded potential dimensions of the player’s house, support for the Wi-Fi system, which includes the ability to visit the cities of other players after exchanging friendly codes. The acre movement system has been removed. The game can be controlled both via the touch screen and standard command input through the buttons. Specific holidays such as Christmas and Halloween are eliminated or replaced: Christmas, for example, is replaced by the very similar «Toy Day». However, the game has its own special holidays and events, so the loss of traditional holidays is not particularly noticeable.

Gameplay

You start the game in a taxi cab. The driver, Kapp’n, asks you a few questions to determine the appearance of the character, as well as to check that the Nintendo DS internal clock is working correctly. After a sequence of dialogues, the player arrives in a randomly generated town and is greeted by Tom Nook, the town’s shopkeeper, who offers the player a house to rent. However, in order to pay for housing, the player must complete a series of jobs that serve as a tutorial mode for the basic social aspects of the game. After completing this «mode», the player can freely spend their leisure time in the city, although it is encouraged to receive bells, the game’s currency, in order to pay for the house and upgrade it.

House upgrades are as follows:

  • First house extension: 19,800 bells in the town hall.
  • Second expansion of the house: 120,000 bells in the city hall.
  • Upper room: 298,000 bells in the city hall.
  • Left room: 598,000 bells in the city hall.
  • Right room: 720,000 bells in the city hall.
  • Back room: 848,000 bells in the city hall.

4 players can be saved in one game file, and unlike the original Animal Crossing, they can live in the same house.

Making money

The fundamental element of Wild World is the money system and the collection of bells. The bells are not only used to pay for Tom Nook’s house upgrades, but also for various pieces of furniture and items he sells in his store. Also, with the purchase of more items, the store is updated and offers more extensive sections. Ways to make money are:

Fishing . Possibly the most popular method of getting bells. The fishing rod costs 500 bells, but returns the money spent immediately. Shadows in the water (pond, river, ocean) indicate the place of fish substantiation; specific types of fish live in specific waters, and can cost anywhere from 100 bells to 20,000. The catch can be taken home, sold or donated to a museum.

Bug catching . It is carried out through a grid that costs 500 bells. Beetles are less common than fish and cost less, but are very plentiful in summer. Catching bugs is more difficult — you need to sneak up or find them underground.

Excavations . Small «X» shaped holes in the ground represent a spot where the player can dig for fossils or «gyroids». The fossil identifies Blathers from the museum. Gyroids are much rarer, usually after rain, and cost 800 bells each.

Tasks . In a conversation with neighbors, you can get a task. Most of them are quite simple: delivering an item to someone, etc.

Fruit picking . Each city has special fruits (apple, peach, cherry, pear, orange) that can be sold for 100 bluebells or planted in the ground (each tree has 3 fruits that grow back 3 days after falling). There is a concept of foreign fruits, as opposed to local ones.

Sales items . Throughout the game you get/collect a lot of useless items. There are several ways to get rid of them: give them to the neighbors (they give something in return), bring them to the lost and found office, or sell them to Tom Nook. Such items are never worth serious money.

[Nintendo DS] Animal Crossing: Wild World

This is a review of a game for the Nintendo DS handheld console.
For the uninitiated, this is such a PSP with worse graphics, a stylus and a huge number of cool games. But you can’t watch comedy club releases on it, and this, as you know, is a huge minus for a game console in Russia. And in general DS, a console for children and mustachioed plumbers. Therefore, I will ask them to stay, and the rest can go through … Well, for example, here.

Animal Crossing

If you and I played associations and you weren’t a biology student, then you would probably say Sims to the phrase «Life Simulator». Still, one of the best-selling games in history, with an ingenious and, as is often the case, at the same time simple idea — the whole concept of Sims is to transfer our lives to the monitor screen. You come to town, get a job, eat, find a girlfriend, marry, breed, sleep, divorce, breed, remarry, give birth, eat, finally bathe, and die. If during your life you managed to create a family, then you simply continue to “live” with other family members. If not, then alas and ah, the ruthless Game Over will overtake you here too. In addition to the interesting moments of life, the game copies a lot of routine: Items break (When fixing electronics, the sim can die), items catch fire (If you do not call the firefighters, the sim will burn in the fire), you need to eat (If you do not eat, the sim will die), work (For food need money, no food, sim will die), etc. Yes, what is there, even if you do everything right, the sim will die exactly. From old age. And while playing games in this series, I thought, what would happen if we remove all the unpleasant moments and leave only what we are breaking through a thick layer of routine for? And there will be Animal Crossing.

Animal Sims.
Actually, I’m being a bit cunning. In Animal Crossing, there are not only fun, but also responsibilities. The game begins with the fact that we arrive by taxi to our new home. In fact, the house is not yet ours, it must be bought from a local merchant — a raccoon named Tom. Oh, didn’t I tell you that your neighbors are animals? I probably forgot to remind you that each of them has a unique character and communicates with you in the purest English! Yes, what is there, each of them has his own birthday. By the way, do not forget to write down the dates and bring gifts, otherwise you yourself will not receive the picture that you have been dreaming about for so long, but you cannot save money. And if no one wants to give gifts, well, well: «To buy something unnecessary, you need to sell something unnecessary.» Moreover, soon there will be a city fair where you should definitely go to bargain and watch fireworks. Or is it worth waiting for the new year, when the time for discounts starts in the store? Moreover, the city in the snow is so beautiful. Yes, of course, this is not the best time for gardening, but it’s time to build a snowman and arrange gatherings near the fireplace with friends. Although even if you are not at all sociable, you will have something to do at any time of the year. Do you love butterflies? No one bothers to collect a huge collection. Have you ever dreamed of being an Indiana Jones? Local museum, you will be well paid for new exhibits. Or maybe a talented fashion designer lives in you?

It looks like it’s starting to rain!

In addition to changing the seasons, the weather also changes, and the matter is not limited to visual effects. Some types of butterflies only fly when it rains. Beetles appear in spring and disappear in mid-summer. And that rare perch that the whole city wants to catch appears only for a week at the end of autumn and only at night. Another fun detail is related to the time of day if you play in the morning in the morning game. If you play in the evening in the game evening. And if at night … That’s right, it’s night in the game. At night, the city freezes: The store is closed and only a few residents are awake and ready to keep you company. But this does not mean that you have nothing to do at all. You can go to the observatory and make your own constellation, and then walking around the city to see it in the night sky. Or is it better to stay in your garden and try to watch for that neighbor who steals oranges from your garden? Oh, the grasshoppers are already chirping, again I talked all night with an owl in the observatory …

More fun together!
But no one says that you should play in splendid isolation. To increase the degree of fun, it is enough to have a friend (or girlfriend) in the amount of at least one piece (and a maximum of four at one time) with a prefix and a game. You can play both via the Internet and just sitting next to you. At the same time, you can visit friends in their cities, write letters to them, exchange things, while many things will be unique to your friends’ cities (For example, this applies to vegetation) and Christmas trees will be added to the palm trees in your city. But even if we discard this, one opportunity to show the city that you personally planted with plants, the house that you built and furnished with furniture, paintings and other interior elements is already expensive.
