Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition has arrived and inside of it are three beloved classics GTA III, GTA: Vice City, and GTA: San Andreas. For those of you who never had the chance to play any of these games, this is your opportunity to experience some of the groundbreaking games within this blockbuster franchise.

GTA: San Andreas was first released on October 26, 2004 for PlayStation 2 and Xbox, during a time when in-game cheats and codes were still a very big thing. Just about every game in the GTA series features cheats of some sort that allow you to manipulate all sorts of the games systems.

It’s been confirmed that these very same cheats from the past still work within the Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition. In GTA: San Andreas, there are over 100 cheats available that perform things like unlocking weapon stats, giving you infinite ammo, getting cash, full health and armor, raising or lowering your wanted level and plenty more.

To activate a cheat code in GTA: San Andreas – Definitive Edition, simply find the desired code you want and perform the series of button combinations on your controller while you’re playing the game. Be careful though, while cheats are fun to play with, using them will lock certain Trophies and Achievements, so make sure you save before using them.

It’s also worth mentioning that not all of the cheats from the original game made it into the Definitive Edition. Rockstar explained that some cheats had to be removed for “a couple of technical reasons.”
