GTA Online’s flying car is a little problematic

Rockstar occasionally sends me emails about exciting new cars I can purchase in Grand Theft Auto Online. Perhaps I would like some kind of Lamborghini or Ferrari knock-off? I can’t really tell the difference between the endless array of cars constantly advertised to me in-game and via promotions. They all seem to drive real fast. Some of them have two doors, and some of them have four doors.

Look, I never learned all the different kinds of cars, and at this point, I’m too afraid to ask. All that matters is I have gotten my hands on a flying, pink and blue murder car with a funny horn. It’s solving many of my problems! It’s also causing a whole lot of problems. But those problems are being drowned out by my novelty musical horn.

Meet the Deluxo

Now, I’m no expert, but if you ask me, the Deluxo has everything a car needs:

  • Good color (pink)
  • Gun
  • Heat-seeking missiles that make a really satisfying lock-on sound
  • Goes fast

In fact, the Deluxo is, in some ways, symbolic of the problems that haunt Grand Theft Auto Online at the moment. After the launch and introduction of heists, we’ve seen a whole lot of content that escalates and expands on the basic GTA premise of “drive car, do crimes.” Players can take to the skies on hoverbikes, summon tanks, and drop orbital strikes from outer space.

When I’m on the road, stuck in traffic, the urge to escape is overwhelming. Why be stuck on the ground with the rest of these paupers when I can take … TO THE SKIES!

Mountains? Military bases? Shipments of deadly weapons spread across the map that I need to destroy before a timer runs out? The Deluxo basically trivializes all of these concerns. A fool, an utter rube, might play Grand Theft Auto 5 for the single-player content and learn about the three protagonists and their histories. I climb into a Deluxo and blast the Backstreet Boys hit “I Want It That Way” as I shoot missiles at helicopters.

It’s tough to carry the burden of such genius, but don’t worry, I have a solution: I strap the burden to the back of my pink flying car and run away from any judgments or consequences.

A few minor issues

You would think that the Deluxo has nothing but upsides, and honestly, you’d be right if it weren’t for other people who have problems with the manner in which I conduct myself.

There’s a ramp-up period before liftoff. There was one instance where I expected to take off, but instead, the Deluxo simply skidded around a corner as the wheels slowly lifted up into the body of the car. The car smashed through a gate and into my buddies, one of whom was holding a molotov. After a few moments of chaos, the Deluxo gracefully soared into the skies. Behind me, everything was on fire and my friends were all yelling. Yes, a few people got immolated, but you can’t make an omelette (flying car) without cracking a few eggs (friends).

Another time, I was slowly following a target. This security guard had a keycard on him that I needed for a break-in. The quest giver suggested I knock the guard out, perhaps using a pistol whip. Deluxo had other ideas. The heat-seeking missiles locked onto him and there was the rapid, satisfying series of beeps. So yes, I may have fired a missile at the guy that turned him into salsa. And apparently, that’s a problem because I failed the mission! Listen, no one told me this when I bought the thing.

It should be noted that I enjoy the element of stealth. If I am asked to track an enemy or escort a friend, I’m in the skies. But I also like to make the moment cinematic, so I play my novelty horn to add a certain sense of gravitas.

Ssh… I’m being very sneaky. pic.twitter.com/rXUO1zA02v

The truth is, I play this way with the Deluxo to make its power a little less potent. The car is so powerful that it trivializes most of the game. It would be too easy to slip into a groove, soaring over the world, only half-paying attention to my surroundings, focusing on completing quests to earn the most amount of money possible. That’s certainly practical, but it sucks the fun out of the game.

We’re hanging in there and playing regularly at the moment because it’s like being able to jump into a Fast and Furious movie at any time. Those movies are about family, talking about family, showing off our outfits, and doing cool car stunts. And right now the bad boy Dom Torreto of this family is the always unexpected Deluxo.

Description

3D Universe

The Deluxo is based on the DeLorean DMC-12, although the differences can be seen in the taillights, they are more Ferrari-like, the headlights are similar to the Renault Alpine GTA/A610 and the Deluxo has a very high color spectrum. The Deluxo is best suited for street racing due to its excellent handling and acceleration, however it doesn’t take much damage. The drive is complete.

HD Universe

In Grand Theft Auto Online, the car appears in the Doomsday Update and is even more similar to the DeLorean DMC-12 and has gullwing style doors like the DeLorean. The vehicle can first be encountered in the second Freemode prep mission in the «Information Leaked» stage. There she is presented without an anti-gravity engine and weapons.

Performance

Deluxo is one of the fastest cars in GTA Vice City. However, its speed and handling are inferior to Infernus and Cheetah. The Deluxo is the fourth or fifth fastest car. The Deluxo has the same engine sound as the Infernus, possibly a V8 engine. The brakes, despite the speed, work perfectly. The only drawback of the car is its great fragility. The Deluxo also quickly loses control in an accident.
In GTA Online, this car can be purchased from Warstock and modified in PKP or Avenger, the base model already has an anti-gravity engine that allows you to hover above the ground and fly, while ground control will be similar to an amphibious hovercraft. In addition, while in Deluxo, the player can shoot from the built-in rocket and machine gun mounts, while shooting from personal weapons becomes impossible, other modifications can be installed in the Los Santos Customs workshop.

Location

GTA Vice City

  • Inside Sunshine Autos after completing the first Sunshine Autos Import Garage list.

GTA Vice City Stories

  • Parked inside Inter Global Films (Stinger occasionally appears).
  • Parked near the Ducum Inn
  • Parked near the bridge in Ocean Beach

GTA Online

  • Can be purchased from Warstock Cache & Carry for [550,000 — 4,721,500 | 3,550,000 — 4,721,500] $.

Interesting Facts

  • The car may be a reference to the Back to the Future movie series. In GTA San Andreas, the pass icon for a previously completed trip has a Deluxo on the arrow. Perhaps this is a reference to the Back to the Future trilogy, since the time machine in this film is assembled on the basis of the DeLorean DMC-12 — the prototype of the Deluxo. Also, when you press the button and skip the trip, the inscription «After a while …» appears, which indicates the ability of the car in the film to travel in time.
  • The only flying car (GTA Online) in the GTA series.
  • Two Deluxos can lift a Maibatsu Mule truck with a driver inside. Without a driver, the truck will not move.

5 Most Powerful Items In Gta Online

Balancing a game like GTA Online can be a very difficult and tedious process. In a game where players compete against other players in a PVP environment, it is very important that all weapons and vehicles are balanced in order for the gameplay to be fair. It can sometimes be difficult to balance the game with over 700 vehicles and 61 different weapons.

Rockstar Games’ most successful game, GTA Online, places players in the online city of Los Santos where they can battle each other during free-roam and free-roam missions. With the wide range of ways players can dominate their enemies, there are bound to be some items that are better than others.

Here are 5 of the most powerful items in GTA Online.

5) Fatal widow

Stickybombs in GTA Online are powerful explosive devices that players detonate on command from a remote control. Players can throw a stickybomb at an enemy vehicle and blow it up whenever they want. This weapon is quite powerful, as it can stick to the floor, the vehicle, the player, and just about any surface. Players can detonate this explosive at will by pressing the explode button.

3) Delusion

The Deluxo is a car in GTA Online inspired by the DeLorean DMC-12 from Back to the Future. Although the DeLorean was used for time travel, the Deluxo in GTA is a flying machine with weapons. The Deluxo comes with two machine guns at the front of the vehicle, as well as a homing missile similar to the Ruiner 2000. to destroy enemies. To use the Orbital Cannon, players need to go to their bunker. The Orbital Cannon can target anyone or anything on the map every 48 minutes in real time and costs $500,000 for a manual shot and $750,000 for an automatic shot.
