GTA 5 Cell Phone Cheats: Full List of Phone Cheat Codes
In addition to controller (PlayStation and Xbox) and keyboard (PC) combinations, you can also activate cheats in GTA 5 using the in-game cell phone. On this page we show you how and provide all the cheat numbers.
Dialing GTA 5 Phone Cheats
Cheats in GTA 5 are not only useful for passing a difficult mission, you can use them to do whatever you want. Unlock vehicles and weapons, become invincible, lower your wanted level and much more using your in-game cell phone.
We’ve verified each one of these GTA 5 cell phone cheats as working on the PS4 and PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S and PC — they don’t work on older versions (PS3 or Xbox 360) of the game. However, you can still use button combos to activate cheats on those platforms (PlayStation | Xbox).

Use Cell Phone
:
Bring out your cell phone by pressing UP on the d-pad on consoles, or «T» or BACKSPACE on PC.

Access The Dial Pad
:
Access your contacts list and then press X on Xbox, SQUARE on PlayStation, or SPACEBAR or MIDDLEMOUSEBUTTON on PC. This will bring up the dial pad.

Enter Cheat Phone Number
:
Enter the phone number that corresponds to the cheat you wish to activate from the list below. Alternatively, if you want to use the cheat you last entered, just press * on the dial pad, which is «Redial».

To actually dial the number, press the same button you used in step 2 (X on Xbox, SQUARE on PlayStation, or SPACEBAR or MIDDLEMOUSEBUTTON on PC).

In general, everything is very simple and effective, we recommend using this particular method to steal a tank.
2) Steal a tank directly from the territory of the base
The second method is more primitive, and it is more difficult to implement it.
Take a fast car and drive up to the barrier at the entrance to the military base. Do not rush to rush inside, because you will immediately get 4 stars. You have to wait for the right moment. Watch out when a passing tank appears outside the gate. As soon as you see him, step on the gas!
After capturing the tank, try to leave the base as quickly as possible and head towards the hangar where you can save your trophy.
Unfortunately, it will be very difficult to do this, since it is almost impossible to break away from the helicopters chasing you. But you can show off well, shooting all living things.
3) Steal a tank during Trevor’s «Massacre» mission
Another cool way to use Trevor’s secondary story missions. As you know, this character has a series of missions called “Massacre”, during which you need to kill the required number of enemies in a limited time.
In one of these meat grinders Trevor is attacked by the military. In the middle of the battle, climb into one of the tanks and finish the mission in it, and then just transport it to the Sandy Shores airfield. Very simple and elegant.
Tank in GTA Online
In GTA Online, the tank was made even less durable than in GTA 5. Two or three RPG shots or four sticky bombs are enough to destroy it.
Obviously, this was done in order to more even out the balance, depriving the owner of the tank of a clear advantage in battle.
There are two ways to get a tank in GTA Online: buy it and steal it from the military. The purchase will cost a little less than offline — 1.5 million dollars .
And it’s even easier to steal a tank online, because here you can use the ability to remove wanted stars by calling Lester.
The first method involves luring the tank out of the military base. The method is similar to what we discussed above.
The second method is more sophisticated. For it, you will need a Cargobob cargo helicopter. Take it and fly up to the walls of the base, but do not fly inside. Wait for the Rhino to stop somewhere nearby. After that, get the hook using the E key, fly into the base and cling to it. You will immediately have 4 stars, and the warriors will start shooting at you.
