That’s right, cheat codes disable the ability to earn trophies and achievements, so if you plan on getting the platinum trophy or 1,000 gamerscore, you’ll want to use a separate save file to do things legitimately.

The GTA: San Andreas cheats for the original game are a lot of fun—they let you play around with Rockstar’s sandbox and unlock an arsenal of vehicles and weapons to use. How to use GTA: San Andreas cheats

  • To activate a GTA: San Andreas cheat, you can use either the code or phrase listed next to your desired effect below. Both work the same, although the phrase is easier to remember.
  • Once you’ve got your cheat, just type it while playing the game—not paused.
  • A small pop up will appear in the top corner alerting you to your success. You can then enter another cheat if you desire.
