How to Get ‘Sea Turtles, Mate’ Achievement / Trophy
For this Achievement/Trophy you have to ride on all seven animals in the game. They are found in the following:
- Donkey – Port Royal / Story mode
- Horse – Tortuga / Story mode
- Pig – Tortuga / Story mode
- Sea Turtle – Smuggler’s Den / Free Play mode
- Snail – Dutchman’s Secret / Free Play mode
- Goat – Davy Jones’ Locker / Story mode
- Spider – Fountain of Youth / Free Play mode
How to Get ‘Green Flash’
You’ll find the clock tower on the left side of the balcony above the tavern.
You will need to use Jack’s compass to find the key on the left.
Then place the key on the crank and turn it to raise the green bars along the side of the clock tower.
Select a female character and jump to the green bar. Swing and jump up to the next set of green bars and finally to a 3rd one where you will be able to pull yourself onto a platform.
This will earn you “The Green Flash” Achievement / Trophy.
How to Get ‘The Ride’
The Ride is a secret level and will be very difficult to get to. You first need 84 Gold Bricks to assemble the bricks next to the cannons in the tavern area into a gold mast. So revisit this area once you have completed all 20 levels in Story mode, earned True Pirate in all 20 levels, collected all 200 Ships in a Bottle Minikits and found all 160 compass items.
You will need to complete this secret level in order to get the 85 and final Gold Brick.
Once you have built the gold mast that needs 84 Gold Bricks, walk up the stairs and head through the back passageway that was blocked by a gold gate.
This gold gate is the entrance to The Ride.
The Ride has 3 different areas, In the first area, you must defeat 2 enemies from the cursed Black Pearl crew and then finally Captain Barbossa. Once you defeat Captain Barbossa, the gate opens to allow you to continue. Get in the boat and head to the 2nd area.
In the 2nd area, you will face the Flying Dutchman crew. Defeat the 2 of them and then defeat Davy Jones. Once you defeat him, get on the next boat and head towards the final, 3rd area.
At the final area, you will face the crew of Queen Anne’s Revenge. Afterward, you will need to defeat her captain, Blackbeard. Once you have defeated him, get back on the boat and exit the level to earn the final 85th Gold Brick for an Achievement/Trophy.
Gold Brick Locations
Here are some great ways to earn Gold Bricks.
- There are 20 levels in the story mode. For each level, you beat you will get a gold brick. Total Number of Bricks: 20
- Complete “True Pirate Mode” in each of the 20 levels to get a gold brick.
Total Number of Bricks: 20 - Collect all 10 mini kits (Ships in a bottle). Total Number of Bricks: 20
- Collect all the secret compass locations. Total Number of Bricks: 20 You get 4 more gold bricks to appear in the Dock, specifically at the far right of the Port, after collecting all the Minikits (Ships In A Bottle) tied to finishing each of the 4 movies. Launch all 4 of the Minikit Ships you’ve made to get 4 bricks total. Total Number of Bricks: 4
- Upon receiving all 84 bricks, build the mast on the east side of the port. You will receive your last golden brick here. Total Number of Bricks: 1
Lego Pirates Of The Caribbean: Red Hats
There are twenty Red Hats known as ‘Extra Toggle’ hidden throughout The Port. The Red Hats grant you special abilities when enabled via the Extras option in the pause menu. Here are the locations of all of them, along with their price.

Lego pirates of the caribbean — Playing together
Traveler’s Tales has amazing people. With each new project, they essentially offer the same game with minor cosmetic changes and a different name. In LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 they added magic and broom flying, in LEGO Star Wars: Episode III: Clone Wars they introduced strategic elements, but the gameplay is still the same simple arcades with collecting parts and various mini-quests.
The same can be said for LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean. The game covers all four films released so far. But with the transfer this time, the developer had some problems. The fact is that both Potter and Star Wars and Batman and Indiana Jones were funny because of the seriousness of the original source.
In other words, it was much easier to create parodies when films did not try to make the viewer laugh.
Things are somewhat more complicated with the Pirates. Although it would be wrong to call them a comedy, there is still a certain comedy present in every part of the franchise. Especially its presence is facilitated by the main character Jack Sparrow performed by Johnny Depp. As a result, it turned out that all the funny episodes in LEGO Pirates (and humor in the LEGO series of games has always been almost in the foreground) are a banal recreation of movie fragments using toy silent men.
As always, the player’s goal is to move from one location to another, destroying and collecting items along the way, searching for constructor elements and other things. It is allowed to control several characters, between which the player switches, depending on the needs. You need to jump high — take the girl. You need to find the right path — Sparrow will help. The trouble is, even movie fans can’t always tell which character can do what.
For example, if you need to press a lever, you will have to switch between all the heroes and only in this way find out who is able to cope with this task.
Another drawback that prevents you from fully enjoying the game is the endless respawning of enemies. While one character is busy with an important task, the other must protect him — and this is just one example of where opponents appear non-stop one after another. But, as before, when the supply of lives runs out, your hero will fall apart and lose only a few collected elements, which can then be collected again. You can also complain about long cut-scenes with repetitive jokes and the inability to skip them.
It is impossible not to note the control that has become noticeably more uncomfortable — if earlier you could get used to the camera turning in the most inopportune direction at a crucial moment, then jumping on platforms often turns into torture. It is very difficult to hit the first time and not fall, so losing the collected elements will become normal over time.

On the other hand, you can’t call a very bad project — the pirate atmosphere is perfectly transferred, the backdrops look great (especially in battles), and the epic music fits into the surroundings. It’s also convenient that the levels have become noticeably smaller (and even tiny compared to LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars). Now the screen in cooperative mode is practically not divided into parts — two players are almost always close to each other.
The level design also deserves special attention — after the episode with LEGO men, where they are put into balls rolling at high speed, you start to think that the developers, if they wish, can still come up with something original and interesting. Needless to say about the animation of the characters, in particular Jack Sparrow — all his signature gestures are conveyed as accurately as possible, and they cause a smile, which is important.
The plots are conveyed quite accurately, the general idea can be understood, but the details will be unclear to those who have never seen a single part of Pirates of the Sea. And it is unlikely that this task was among the priorities.
But, unfortunately, gamers did not wait for the online component to be added to the project. The addition of the ability to find a second player online should be at the top of the list of features needed in the next Traveller’s Tales games for now. After all, not always in life there is a partner who is ready to go through the whole game with you from start to finish at any time. However, apparently, such a list does not exist at all.

Because of this, the goal pursued by the developers is not entirely clear. Obviously, the LEGO series is very popular among players of all ages, but in LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean there is not a single fresh thought, there are no original solutions and there is nothing drastically different from past games.
